CEO Sam Altman addressed the downtime with a lighthearted tweet at 9:13 AM, saying, โ€œWe back,โ€ and jokingly adding, โ€œI was about to offer to start being the mechanical turk for ChatGPT.โ€ Some users responded with frustration, pointing out the lengthy disruption.

This marks the second instance of downtime in recent months. Last month, ChatGPT faced a shorter 30-minute disruption, affecting over 19,000 users globally.
