The Chinese smartphone brand realme is planning on establishing a manufacturing plant in Pakistan!
This news was shared by realme’s Director of Marketing in Pakistan Mr He Shunzi during an interview.
Mr. Shunzi shared that the company is inspecting locations in Islamabad, Peshawar, and Faisalabad Industrial Estate for suitable land.
Realme ranked the top five android brands in Pakistan in less than nine months, capturing 8% of total market share, he added.
When asked about a possible partnership with a local partner for establishing the facility, he said that realme is already working in partnership with OPPO everywhere it is producing mobile phones.
Both realme and OPPO mobile phones are being produced from the same factories. However, any local partnership cannot be overlooked in the future.
We are looking forward to more news and developments from this plan to set-up the plant in the near future.
