In Karachi on June 8th, 2023, one of Pakistan’s top FMCG businesses, English Biscuit Manufacturers (Pvt) Ltd. (EBM), took home eight trophies in various categories at the Pakistan Effie Awards 2023. This enhances EBM’s strategic acumen as a marketing thought leader, and its successful work has won praise from the whole marketing and advertising community.
Effie Pakistan is a component of the worldwide Effie Award, which recognizes the most noteworthy success in efficient marketing communications.
The Peek Freans Gluco Teddy, Peek Freans Sooper Soft Bakes, and the new Double Chocolate product from Peek Freans RIO have received awards for their new product innovation campaigns.
EBM went on to win two Silver and Bronze prizes for the creation of the Gluco Kahani platform, which produces interesting material in Urdu for Pakistani children who are losing touch with the language, as well as a Bronze for Sustained Success for Peek Freans Sooper.
Additionally, EBM has been developing inclusive societal narratives over the past year to encourage behavior change with campaigns like “Reading the Rights,” which aims to educate girl children and give them access to their fundamental human rights, and “Kaisi Ho Maa,” which calls on society to show compassion for mothers for all of their work and care.
