Harry Potter famed starlet, Emma Watson, is one name that everyone recognizes. She is a philanthropist, an activist, and has been the face of many campaigns.
Watson, who wears many hats, has now added a new feather. She has now joined the board of the French fashion giant and Gucci-label owner, Kering!
Reportedly, Watson will chair Kering’s sustainability committee; shareholders are in favor of this move. For some time now, Kering has been facing criticism over a record of sustainability.

The Disney star has been known for her sense of style and has been adored for her top-tier designer’s picks, be it red carpet events or any ordinary public appearance.
Watson is also the ambassador of the ‘Good On You’ app, which is a rating-module for fashion brands based on their ethical and sustainability credentials.
Along with Watson, Kering also added two other big names to its board, Tidjane Thiam, former CEO of investment bank Credit Suisse Jean and Liu president of Chinese ride-sharing business Didi Chuxing.
Emma Watson’s Fashion Career
This is not the first time a brand has approached the ‘Little Women’ star. In June 2009, she announced a partnership with Burberry as the face of their Autumn/Winter 2009 campaign.
In 2010, she appeared in Burberry’s Spring/Summer campaign with her brother Alex. In 2011, she was bestowed upon with the awarded the Style Icon award from British Elle by Dame Vivienne Westwood. Following that, she became the face of Lancôme the same year.
