Fakhar Zaman Injured During Pak vs NZ Match

Pakistanโ€™s star opener Fakhar Zaman suffered a knee injury during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 match against New Zealand in Karachi. The incident occurred in the first over. Zaman, fielding at mid-off, chased a drive from New Zealandโ€™s Will Young. He slid to prevent a boundary and hurt his knee in the dive.

Zaman was seen clutching his waist and foot, looking uncomfortable. He went off the field and was attended to by the team physio. Kamran Ghulam replaced him as a substitute fielder. A video of the incident was shared on Twitter by user @kuchbhi12341416.
