After his hit TV series “Humsafar”, actor, Fawad Khan soared through the industry’s ranks. Fawad Afzal Khan started as a singer. Soon after Humsafar and Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Fawad established himself as an actor, producer, and screenwriter.

But Fawad Khan’s success does not end here. After becoming one of the most renowned actors in Pakistan, Fawad made his way to Bollywood. He appeared in three films, Kapoor & Sons, co-starring with Alia Bhatt, Rishi Kapoor, and Sidharth Malhotra. Later, his other movies were, Khoobsurat, co-starring Sonam Kapoor, and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, with co-stars Ranbir Kapoor, and Anushka Sharma.

Fawad Khan Stars In An Indian TV Series

Fans have craved the sight of this actor in TV series after Zindagi Gulzar Hai, his last drama. Currently, the news of his casting in another drama series is going around. The host and journalist Amna Isani shared secretive information about Fawadโ€™s upcoming Indian series on “Something Haute”โ€™s show “Haute Review”, hosted by Hassan Choudhry and Amna Isani.

In the Haute Review, Amna Isani said, โ€œFawad Khan is doing a big-budget series in which heโ€™s playing the character of polo playersโ€™ trainer. Umera Ahmed has written this new and upcoming series. And the directing is in the hands of Asim Raza. The production of the series is being headed by Misbah Shafique who has already worked with Zee 5.”

She then continued, “It will be aired/released on Sony Life. Also, the cast includes Sanam Saeed, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Hira Khan, and others. The series has been shot in London, Islamabad and Chitral. Fawad plays the character of Chitrali Nawab in the series who trains polo players. Sanam Saeed is probably playing the character of a British girlโ€.
