FIFA Confirms Hosts for 2030 and 2034 World Cups
Hosts of FIFA Menโ€™s World Cup 2030 and 2034 are announced. Spain, Portugal and Morocco will stage the 2030 FIFA event. It will also feature the celebratory events in Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay. This marks the 100 hundred years of the existence of the tournament. FIFA President Gianni Infantino praised it, stating, “What better way to celebrate the 100th anniversary in 2030 than to have the World Cup in six countries, three continents, with 48 teams and 104 epic matches.”

Saudi Arabia will host the 2034 World Cup, making it the second Middle Eastern nation to do so after Qatar in 2022. The Asian Football Confederation supported Saudi Arabia’s bid after Australia and Indonesia dropped their joint proposal. On Wednesday, FIFA’s extraordinary Congress approved both events based on single bids.
