T20 World Cup continues with an undefeated fervor. It could be Pakistan’s iconic performance as they won in all the four matches they played or the fact that India lost to Pakistan in the worst way possible. Regardless, not are Pakistanis interested in just the country’s track record but are also keeping an eye out on the arch-rival. This is why millions were glued to their screens last night as India versus Afghanistan had their showdown.

Pakistan won against Afghanistan, however, how they would fare against India whom Pakistan defeated incredibly was a question that got answered in a confusing way. The game did not make sense. India scored and while one can expect that because other than this tournament, the team is actually good, but the way it scored was just weird. It seemed as if Afghanistan was intentionally giving them chances to win.

Fixed match?
Of course, once India had made 210 runs from 20 overs and Afghanistan saw its one of the best player Mohammad Shahzad gone on zero runs, hashtag ‘fixed’ started trending. And when something trends, trust Pakistanis to scour the internet and make connections no one would have thought would appear. They dug out the video from the toss where if you listen carefully, you can hear Kohli telling Afghanist to bowl first. The video is doctored or not, we can’t comment on that but you are free to make a decision for yourself.
Memes began surfacing
The memes just had to surface, didn’t they? Let’s take a look at some of the best ones so far. The best meme was probably the doctored tweet of the Afghan Cricket Board. Someone on Twitter photoshopped the text to seem like the board made the error and let out a secret.

A sports analyst-anchor also made a funny remark that will have you bawling with laughter. I mean, it is the only possible explanation of Afghanistan’s cricket performance, isn’t it?

But let’s not accuse others, shall we? Let’s be accepting and embrace the fact that even though Pakistan was able to restrict India at 151 runs and achieve 152 runs without any outs, the latter is capable of scoring 210 runs.
