Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has written a second letter to the Sindh High Court (SHC) chief justice. He urged immediate action on the rising number of traffic fatalities in Karachi. In his letter, the governor highlighted administrative negligence and legal violations as major causes of fatal accidents in the city. Furthermore, he also expressed concern over a recent incident where four citizens lost their lives in a single day.
The governor pointed out that despite a court order restricting heavy traffic from entering the city between 7 am and 11 pm, complaints of non-compliance continue to rise. The governor has requested the High Court to ensure strict implementation of its orders to prevent further tragedies.
