Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh is well-known for his critical stance against Pakistan players and fans. Recently, he supported the BCCI’s decision to not send the Indian cricket team to Pakistan for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025, citing safety concerns for the Men in Blue.
A Brutal Jab at Babar Azam Fan Page
In a new twist, Harbhajan Singh has trolled a Babar Azam fan page on social media. The fan page had claimed that Babar Azam refused to give an interview to Irfan Pathan during the ODI World Cup in 2023.

The page posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) showing a host trying to approach Babar for an interaction after a match. However, Babar walked away, and the fan page captioned the post, incorrectly identifying the host as Irfan Pathan.
Harbhajan didn’t hold back. He replied to the post, saying, “Where is @IrfanPathan in this video?? Bolne ki tameez to aap logo ko pehle hi nahi thi. Ab aankho se dikhna bi bandh ho gya kya? Waise bi agar angreji mai swal pooch liya to pange pad jayenge.”
Translated, it means, “Where is Irfan Pathan in this video?? You never had the manners to speak properly. Now, can’t you even see properly? Anyway, if asked in English, it would have been problematic.”
A Misstep by the Fan Page
This incident highlights the tendency of some fan pages to post unverified claims to gain likes and attention. Harbhajan’s sharp response not only corrected the misinformation but also called out the lack of manners and accuracy in the post.
It’s a reminder of the importance of verifying facts before making such claims, especially in the world of sports, where emotions and loyalties run high.
