The much-anticipated Pakistan Super League (PSL) 8 anthem’s musical lineup has reportedly been made public. Three incredibly brilliant singers—Asim Azhar, Shae Gill, and Faris Shafi—will perform the anthem, and Abdullah Siddiqui will provide the music. With the tournament beginning in just over a week, the PSL 8 anthem will soon be made public. Ali Sethi was reportedly originally scheduled to perform the anthem, but once his father, Najam Sethi, became the head of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), he was dropped from the project.

Shae Gill gained notoriety last year after making her Coke Studio debut in season 14. She co-wrote Pasoori with Ali Sethi, which became one of the most well-known songs in the nation and had a strong international performance.
Arif Lohar, Ali Azmat, and Haroon collaborated with Asim Azhar on the PSL 6 anthem, Tayyar Ho. The PSL anthem will include the other two performers for the first time. Abdullah Siddiqui will be producing the PSL anthem’s music for the second time in a row. Aagay Dekh, the acclaimed PSL 7 anthem, was produced by Abdullah Siddiqui.
One of the most well-known rappers in current Desi hip-hop is Faris Shafi. He also appeared twice in Coke Studio’s 14th season, once with his sister Meesha Shafi in the song “Muaziz Saarif” and once with Karakoram and Talha Anjum in the song “Yeh Dunya.” He is also very popular for his hit song “Introduction”.
The PSL management has not yet disclosed the exact release date for the national anthem.
