Yet another scam has taken over social media in the avatar of another popular application! A new app called WhatsApp Plus has been spotted in the stores, however, it has nothing to do with WhatsApp or Facebook at all!
Boasting a shiny gold logo, this application is a hoax, a scam which can heavily affect smartphones. According to the reports, the popular WhatsApp Plus is not offering any additional functionality or features within the domain of instant messaging users.

No, instead, alongside inserting malware on your phone, it will also take personal information from our mobile device and also leave its brand logo, in the form of malware. This riskware first started to circulate around mid-2017.
The application is completely different than WhatsApp, it allows users to send up to 100 photos at a time and also allows them to hide voice notes and message notifications. It also comes with a number of other features which has been attracting users all this time.
How to Identify WhatsApp Plus?
WhatsApp Plus can be identified by the golden icon which appears in the center with a URL and handle. When installed, it asks for you to ‘agree and continue’ when a user accepts, they are redirected to a newer updated version of the application.
