On Wednesday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) unveiled the official theme song for the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. That is scheduled to kick off in India on October 5th. Titled “Dil Jashn Bole,” this anthem beautifully captures the excitement and enthusiasm surrounding this eagerly awaited global sporting event.

Titled ‘Dil Jashn Bole,’ the anthem’s goal is to encapsulate the enthusiasm and spirit of one of the most highly anticipated sporting events. To enhance the excitement, the anthem includes a special appearance by the renowned Indian actor Ranveer Singh. This anthem is the result of a collaboration between Singh and the esteemed Bollywood composer, Pritam.

“Being part of this anthem launch for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is truly an honor,” said Singh. “It’s a celebration of the sport we all love.”

World Cup 2023 Commencement
The 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup will kick off on October 5 with defending champions England taking on New Zealand at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India.
Pakistan’s team will participate in a total of 11 matches during the World Cup. Among these, four matches, including two warm-up games and two group-stage matches, are set to be held in Hyderabad.
The Men in Green are scheduled to arrive in Hyderabad via Dubai on September 27, marking the beginning of their World Cup journey. Their first match in Hyderabad is scheduled for October 6 against the Netherlands.

The Cricket World Cup will follow a round-robin format. All participating teams will compete against each other, resulting in a total of 45 league matches.
The top four teams from the league stage will advance to the semifinals. These semi-finals are scheduled to take place in Mumbai on November 15 and in Kolkata on November 16. It’s worth noting that both the semi-finals and the final will have designated reserve days in case of any weather-related disruptions.
