Ali Tareen’s Shocking Revelation
In a candid conversation, Ali Tareen revealed that Ihsanullah underwent surgery on his right elbow, but the outcome wasn’t what anyone had hoped for. The surgery, meant to fix the issue, uncovered even bigger problems.
“It’s a very sad development,” Ali said. “We consulted a top surgeon who gave us bad news. He said, ‘I can do the surgery, but because of so much scarring from his previous botched surgery, his arm will never become perfectly straight.’”
Ali’s disappointment was evident as he described how Ihsanullah’s previous surgical mishap might have permanently affected his bowling. “He will never be able to bowl in the same way,” Ali lamented.

Ihsanullah’s return to competitive cricket during the Champions T20 Cup showed glimpses of his talent. However, his pace was noticeably lower. He bowled at around 130-135 kmph, a far cry from the fiery 155 kmph that once defined him.
“He was our 155 kmph bowler,” Ali added. “It’s unfortunate that one mistake has impacted a young player’s career this way.”
Despite these setbacks, Ihsanullah hasn’t given up. His two wickets in four matches during the Champions T20 Cup signal his determination to keep fighting.
