Apple has just released public beta 2 for iOS 18.4, bringing a variety of new features and changes for users in the public beta programme. This second beta introduces several improvements, such as updated emojis, a new app for the Vision Pro headset, enhanced notification features and much more. The first beta of iOS 18.4 was packed with new features, but Apple has even more in store for the latest beta.

New Emoji

Seven new emojis have been added to the emoji keyboard. These include bags under eyes, fingerprints, a leafless tree, a root vegetable, a harp, a shovel, a splatter, and the Flag of Sark.

Apple Vision Pro App

Installation and Public Launch Date

If you’ve previously installed the iOS 18.4 public beta, or another recent public beta, updating is easy. Just go to SettingsGeneralSoftware Update on your iPhone and beta 2 should appear there.

For anyone not willing to risk installing beta software that could bring bugs and performance issues, Apple has said the public launch of iOS 18.4 is set for early April. This means you won’t have to wait too long to try out these new features.
