Apple is taking out the iPhone X Plus, and it is going to be a one-of-its-kinds!
Previously, there were several rumors that the tech giant will be rolling out a new phone, which will be a direct rival to Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and S9+.
A major leak made by MacRumors suggest that they have received an image from a “trial run of production equipment”, of the Apple iPhone X Plus! One of the shots shows a smartphone with a display which does look like it is larger than the X!
Acclaimed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has mentioned this a number of times previously as well that the ‘iPhone X Plus’ will have a 6.5-inch display, larger than any rival phone. MacRumors also added, “The rear design of the part is also very similar but not identical to the iPhone X display assembly.”
Now, another point to be noted is that that the images were allegedly taken at LG’s plant in Vietnam. Samsung had partnered with the supplier for their OLED screen panels before, this ‘fact’ has now raised a suspicion that Apple is indeed working with LG. Earlier, it was reported that the tech giant had invested $3bn in the project.
We have still yet to find out how many of the rumor are true and how many more details surface before the actual revealing of the X Plus.
