Last night, a warning was released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) about a malicious email being circulated throughout Pakistan that could harm one’s computer.
A cyber alert has been issued by the media wing of the military, informing the public of an email, under the name of ISPR, being sent from invite@ispr.press.
DG Major General of the Inter-Services Public Relations, Asif Ghafoor, took to Twitter to warn the public of the fake email.

He also advised the public to not click on any link that asks for personal information to be entered into a form.
If opened inadvertently please don’t click on any link asking for information to be entered into a form or to unsubscribe. ISPR has further clarified that the email is a form of phishing that has no link at all to the media wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces. If opened, it could lead to loss of data along with harming your computer.
Consequently, it has advised that to not open any such email if received, instead report it as spam and delete it from your mailbox.
A press release, rolled out regarding the crisis, stated:

“ISPR Official domain name is ispr.gov.pk. There is no other domain.”
ISOR has suggested sharing this information with people who are not aware of this fake email.
