JazzCash, Pakistan’s leading Fintech has recently partnered with the Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS), Pakistan’s largest investment and financial institution, to sign a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) for Disbursement and Collection solutions.
Consumers to have easier access to payment options
More than four million people, including widows and senior citizens, will have easier access to payment options under the umbrella of digital financial inclusion thanks to JazzCash, a Jazz subsidiary that is also a part of the VEON Group and CDNS. Users of JazzCash will be able to digitally purchase national saving certificates using the JazzCash App and get profits in their mobile wallets.
During the signing event, JazzCash’s CEO Murtaza Ali said, “Our partnership with CDNS is a tribute towards our commitment to improving the lives and livelihood of consumers through technology. The ability to show how digital solutions save users money and time while still being convenient depends on this collaboration.
Making the most of digital
Similar thoughts were expressed by the director general of CDNS, Hamid Raza Khalid, who said, “We are excited to work with JazzCash, the largest digital wallet app in the country, to help CDNS realise its mission of financial inclusion. The transformation of our department into a thriving, digitally integrated organisation that can serve millions of our citizens is something to which we are entirely dedicated to.
With a portfolio of over Rs. 3.4 trillion and more than 04 million valued investors being served through a vast network of 376 branches nationwide run by 12 Regional Directorates of National Savings, the company is the largest investment and financial organisation in Pakistan (RDNS).
