New controversy strikes TV drama serial; Pakistani actor and singer Junaid Khan has exposed himself as a slapster when he slapped the actress Sanam Saeed while performing a scene for the drama serial. He shared the experience on Ahmad Ali Butt’s podcast and explained the unforgettable time that happened on the set.
The Incident on Set
Junaid Khan said that the incident happened in 2012 on the set of Mata-e-Jaan drama series. Khan said that for the scene a powerful and passionate slap was needed and Mehreen Jabbar with Sanam further wanted the slap to be real. Although at first Junaid did not like it when the director said something like this, the latter had his way in one way or the other.
Regret and Reflection
After the incident, there was stupendous remorse from Junaid for the act saying it was the worst scene in his acting career. He said that the first time he tried to slap Sanam, he held back for the sake of the camera giving him a magnifying effect; the second attempt landed on Sanam hard, to the extent that she was shaken. Despite performing it under professional pressure, Junaid worries that he did perform a wrong act; he cares that he harassed the girl.
A Lesson Learned
In the podcast, Junaid said that this was a crucial lesson which he learned and he will never perform such a scene in his life no matter what. He said sorry to Sanam about the event and expressed the regrets that never ceased to follow him.

He was also featured in the Pakistani dramas Hania, Mumkin, Kasak, Berukhi, and Hay Sun Yaara playing major characters.
