Authorities in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) have announced a curfew in three districtsโTank, North Waziristan and South Waziristan due to security concerns on Tuesday. The district administrations have issued official notifications instructing residents to stay indoors during the curfew. Travellers entering the region have been advised to use alternative routes.
In Tank district, the curfew will be in effect from 6 am to 6 pm. It will cover areas such as Dabara Bazaar, Korr Qila, Khargi, Manzaiย and Kariwam to Jandola. The restrictions aim to prevent any potential security threats and ensure public safety.
South Waziristan will also be under curfew, affecting routes from Azizabad Chowk through Sarwekai, Jandola, Korr Qilaย and Dabara. Upper South Waziristan will face further restrictions on roads passing through Asman Manza, Ladha, Makeen, Bibi Raghzai, Sararogha, Kotkai, Jandola, Barwand, and Mola Khan Sarai.
In North Waziristan, the curfew will apply to roads from Razmak to Gardei and Kharsin. Authorities have urged residents to remain cautious and follow official instructions. They have also asked travellers to plan their journeys accordingly and use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience.

Officials have not confirmed how long the curfew in three districts may last beyond the announced date. However, they have stated that the measure is part of ongoing security operations in the region.
