According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), chilly winds from Quetta have started affecting Karachi, causing temperatures to drop, gripping the city in pleasant winter, at last!
A Further Drop in Temperatures Expected
Chief Meteorologist, Sardar Sarfaraz, stated that the winds from Quetta are expected to continue drifting into Karachi, causing temperatures to drop further in both daytime and nighttime from December 5th and 6th. Daytime temperatures could reach 28 to 30ยฐC, while nighttime temperatures could fall to 14 to 16ยฐC.

Rainfall in Surrounding Areas Impacting Karachi Weather
The changing weather in Karachi is also linked to rainfall in Balochistan and upper Sindh. Signalling the arrival of winter in the city, the PMD has predicted cooler temperatures over the next few days.
Forecasting Cool and Dry Weather
Karachi’s weather forecast indicates cool and dry conditions in the coming weeks;ย nighttime temperatures are expected to drop to around 15ยฐC, meanwhile, days will likely remain dry.
