Just when the winter season is about to bid farewell to Karachi, Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) has forecasted rainfall for the metropolis.
As per MET’s report, a westerly trough is present along the western parts of Balochistan and likely to extend western border of the country during next 24 hours. Consequently, Karachi may experience rainfall over the weekend.
What is more, the rainfall will eventually lead to a drop in temperature and will cause a return of the cooler climate.
Weather Forecast for next 24 hrs:
Mainly cold and dry/partly cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the country. However light rain is expected at few places in Quetta, Makran, Kalat and Karachi divisions.
Weather Outlook for next 48 hrs:
Mainly cold and dry with partly cloudy weather is expected in most upper parts of the country. However, light rain (with snow over the hills) is expected at few places in Malakand, Quetta, Zhob divisions and FATA.
