On Thursday, Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq announced that Kashmir Solidarity Day will be observed on February 5 to show support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).
Anwarul Haq stated this during the 29th meeting of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir cabinet, attended by the ministers and high officials of the government.

The meeting approved the decisions made in the 27th and 28th cabinet sessions.
Abdul Jabbar Khan, AJK IGP provided a detailed briefing to the cabinet on the state’s law and order situation. Following presenting the regular agenda, 11 points were taken up for consideration in meeting.
