Lahore Region Blues registered a comprehensive nine-wicket win over Peshawar Region to win the National T20 Cup 2024-25 trophy at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad. The team led by Hussain Talat produced a clinical show, dominating Peshawar in every department to secure the much-coveted title and the winner’s award of PKR 5 million.

A One-Sided Final

Peshawar, after being placed to bat initially, fought in the face of Lahore Blues’ solid bowling department. Their top never picked steam, making 110/9 from the quota of 20 overs. The trio of Iftikhar Ahmed (34 off 33), Mohammad Zulkifal (32 off 29) and none from the rest provided any resistance for the Peshawar players.
