A nutritionist took to her TikTok account to share these hacks which make so much sense but have been getting neglected simply due to lack of knowledge. From clean eating to avoiding cheap supplements, the lesser-known health facts are things you should never do if you want to live a healthy life.

The wellness expert spoke about different things she would never do as a certified nutritionist in a series of videos. Hereโ€™s what she shared about

1. Don’t Drink Too Much Water

Drinking too much water has become a statement than a health concern. However, nutritionists have mentioned this time and again that drinking too much than what your body can hold can have adverse effects. Drinking gallons of water flush out important minerals.

‘There is such a thing as drinking too much water,’ she said. ‘You can flush out too many minerals and dilute our stomach acid. ‘

‘We need our stomach to be very acidic to break down food properly. If it’s not acidic enough, AKA too diluted, we can have an issue with digestion.’

2. Don’t Keep Wifi Router In Room

WiFi router in the bedroom can be quite harmful due to the electromagnetic frequencies that it gives off.ย  These can cause mild to severe health issues.

‘You will be exposed to an excessive amount of EMF and RF radiation from the router at proximity. The dangers of this radiation are increased the closer it is to you,’ she said.

3. No Juice Cleansesย

Juice cleanses have become a social media trend lately, however they are not as beneficial as they sound. The juice cleanses or a juice detox is a specific diet regime that requires increased consumption of liquids and lower food intake.

‘You need protein to detox. Protein is what helps carry the toxins through the body for elimination,’ she explained. ‘Without any protein, it’s just fasting. Save your money and drink some Bone Broth.’ She explained.

4. No Caffeine Before Breakfastย

Caffeine has become a go-to for everyone be it students, workers or anyone else. However,ย  drinking coffee on an empty stomach comes with its own set of challenges.

‘That hit of caffeine first thing in the morning on an empty stomach causes unneeded stress on the body. Some people claim that drinking it first thing in the morning, when cortisol levels are already high, can be dangerous.’ย She explained.

5. The Bellpepper

‘Eat the insides of the bell pepper,’ says the health expert. ‘That part is very bitter, but bitter foods help you strengthen and stimulate digestion,’ she told her followers. According to WebMD, the white part of pepper contains a chemical called piperine, which can reduce pain and inflammation and improve breathing.
