Pakistan’s current caretaker Prime Minister, Anwar ul Haq Kakkar, was recently invited as a guest speaker at LUMS Lahore. The session which took place on 30th October has been doing rounds on social media. The video which shows the students asking brief and blunt questions from the prime minister has become the highlight of the talk and has been going viral ever since.
Anwar ul Haq Kakkar At LUMS
The LUMS students certainly didn’t seem happy with the guest appearance of the prime minister. The questions clearly depicted frustration and curiosity. From asking questions about the upcoming elections to his intention behind coming as a guest speaker amidst the ongoing crisis in Pakistan.
The highlight of the talk included a student who shared his utter disappointment over the minister having to come to the university with students and teachers waiting to greet him instead of attending their classes. The students shared their thoughts as to why he opted for coming for a guest appearance rather than catering to issues in Pakistan.

The video was met with immense praise by Twitter users who applauded the students for sharing facts rather than getting inspired and sharing their aspirations with the minister. The Twitter reaction to the video is anything but boring. While his appearance might not have deserved any attention, the way students catered to him is worthy of debate.
