The upcoming Thunderbolts movie, set to hit theatres on May 2, 2025, stars Sebastian Stan, Florence Pugh and David Harbour. Yelena Belova teams up with Bucky Barnes for covert operations on behalf of the U.S. government. Other cast members include Olga Kurylenko, Hannah John-Kamen, Wyatt Russell, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Lewis Pullman as a mysterious character named Bob.
The trailer begins with Yelena visiting her “father” Alexei (Harbour), telling him, “There is something wrong with me — an emptiness.” The footage suggests she is caught in contract killing, searching for her true purpose.
