Besides ASP Shehrbano Naqvi who recieved immense praise a shopkeeper named Johnson Tariq acted swiftly to protect a woman from an angry mob by sheltering her in his food point. Two brave salesmen also played a vital role by forming a human chain to deter the mob from breaching the shop, despite the risk of arson.
The incident which happened after a woman was spotted wearing a dress with Arabic words was accused of desecration.

How The Shopkeeper Helped The Woman?
According to the details provided, the woman, accompanied by her husband, was walking through the bazaar wearing a shirt with Arabic calligraphy when a man started following them. He eventually confronted the woman near Pakistan Chowk, insisting that she change her shirt. Despite her refusal and request for him to leave, the man persisted and even tried to forcibly remove her shirt.
In response, she yelled at him and called for help, which led to the situation escalating and a large crowd gathering after hearing accusations of desecration. The woman sought refuge in a nearby food point, where she faced a volatile mob, including a suspect wielding a knife and making threats.

As the angry mob was getting out of hand, making strong threats shop owner, Johnson Tariq where the woman was seeking refuge quickly closed and locked the shop to keep everyone safe. Two brave salesmen guarded the shop outside, even though the mob threatened to set it on fire. Thankfully, the police came and stopped the situation from getting worse.
