Meta is expanding monetisation opportunities for Facebook creators with major updates to affiliate links across Reels, videos, photos and text posts. These changes aim to boost visibility and engagement by giving affiliate links more prominence, such as positioning them at the bottom section of the user interface for Reels.
The updates also include a new format for affiliate links in text posts and improved display options in comment sections. Previously, affiliate links wereย appeared as basic URLs in captions, but this update significantly enhances how these partnerships are showcased.

Meta is introducing an auto-detection system for affiliate links from selected domains. Creators will receive a reminder to use the “paid partnership” label when such links are identified. Additionally, the system will automatically populate affiliate link details when creators choose the “add affiliate product link” option.
Meta confirmed a global rollout of these features for all Pages and Professional Profiles. Larger and more engaging link displays are expected to drive more sales for brands and creators, particularly during the holiday season.

- Reels and videos: Tap โearn moneyโ during publishing, select โadd product links,โ and complete the details.
- Photos or text posts: In Post Settings, tap โearn moneyโ and choose โadd product links.โ
