Minal Khan’s Father-in-Law Defends Seat Belt Use Amid Criticism

Minal Khan and Ahsan Mohsin Ikram, a popular celebrity couple, have been in the spotlight since their marriage. Recently, they welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Hasan Ahsan Mohsin Ikram.

The couple had kept their son’s face private due to concerns about their family’s privacy. However, they recently shared a heartwarming family photo on social media, showing Hasan sitting on Minal’s lap during a family outing in Ahsan’s classic car.

Ahsan captioned the photo, “First drive out in daddy’s classic car!” However, the post received backlash from users who noticed that Hasan was not wearing a seatbelt. One user commented, “No baby seat, sat in the lap at the front. Why risk his life like that?” Another wrote, “Accident waiting to happen, where’s his car seat? Sitting on mummy’s lap is just asking for it. Please use your common sense.”

In response to the criticism, Minal’s father-in-law defended the couple, stating, “People talking about car seat belts… This car Ahsan is driving is a 1954 British car… It is alright if Hasan is getting a ride sitting in the safe lap of his mother… Stop being negative. Come out of it and see the beautiful world beyond negativity.” He pointed out that the classic car was manufactured before the implementation of modern safety regulations, and that Hasan was safe in his mother’s care.

The incident serves as a reminder that even in the public eye, families deserve privacy and understanding when it comes to their personal choices and values.
