Mohammad Hafeez didn’t mince words. In a recent interview, he pointed out that Pakistan’s pace trio has failed in major tournaments since the 2023 Asia Cup.
“Despite their talent, they haven’t proven themselves capable of winning big tournaments for Pakistan,” Hafeez said.
It’s a harsh but fair assessment. Pakistan’s fast bowlers have struggled when it matters most—in the Asia Cup, World Cup, T20 World Cup, and now in the Champions Trophy 2025.
