Mohsin Naqvi Stadium

In a candid admission, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi acknowledged that none of Pakistan’s cricket stadiums currently meet international standards.

With the country set to host the ICC Champions Trophy in February-March 2025, this revelation comes at a crucial time, highlighting the urgent need for upgrades.

Racing Against the Clock

Naqvi’s remarks came during a visit to Lahore’s iconic Gaddafi Stadium, where major renovation work is already underway. The PCB has also begun similar efforts at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium, recognizing the importance of having world-class venues for the upcoming global event.
