Adnan Sarwar’s Motorcycle Girl starring Sohai Ali Abro is all set to be screened at the Stanford University as part of the institute’s Global Studies Summer Film Festival.
The film is based on Zenith Irfan, the first female motorcyclist to travel solo across Pakistan on a motorbike.
Receiving immense praise from the audience, the movie proved to be a real game changer for Sohai who did complete justice to the role.
The big news was shared by Zenith on her official Facebook page.
“AAHHHHHHH I AM CRYING WITH HAPPINESS RIGHT NOW. Stanford University is showcasing my biopic. My life story this July. This is huge. This is big news. I cannot even express my joy. I just don’t know what to say. This is unbelievable. Ya Allah Tera lakh shukar hay,” she shared her excitement.
The Stanford website states that Motorcycle Girl is scheduled to be screened on July 31, 2019.
Other than Sohai, the film also stars Ali Kazmi, Sarmad Khoosat, and Samina Peerzada in prominent roles.
Released in cinemas nationwide last year, Motorcycle Girl is also available on platforms like iflix for streaming.
