Nadia Jamil is a renowned and very well-respected actress in the industry. She’s known for her talented work in soaps such as “Dhoop Meh Swan”, “Jo Bichar Gaye” and “Meray Paas Paas.” Jamil fought breast cancer and since then has used her voice for social issues.

Here’s What Nadia Jamil Revealed

Recently, Nadia appeared on Iffat Omar’s show, “Say It All With Iffat Omar.” When she shared a shocking experience, Nadia Jamil revealed that she was once harassed by a very famous and successful Pakistani director. Though the perpetrator is unnamed, Nadia mentioned that she was waiting for the right time to reveal his identity.

She said, “I don’t put myself into any unsafe situation. I was harassed once by a famous director. When I heard he was leading a new project, I refused to work on it. I think there might have been many girls who faced harassment by him. I am waiting for the right time because my sons are too young to handle this situation wisely.”

She further maintained that as an individual she feels no need to surround herself with toxic energy. Iffat and she agreed that the men guilty of such crimes are always the ones who are most vocal about them in the first place.

Nadia Jamil’s incredibly brave stance reveals how important it is to speak up about such matters in the industry. In another interview with Frieha Altaf, she spoke about her activism against child abuse and the importance of mental health.
