The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced no changes to the fees for obtaining the Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) and B-Form as of January 2025. The CNIC remains essential for accessing services like a driving license, NTN, passport, bank account, and SIM cards. It also plays a critical role in healthcare and education, linking medical records and verifying identities for school admissions.
For standard CNIC processing, the fee remains Rs750, with urgent services costing Rs1,500 and executive services priced at Rs2,500. Eligible individuals aged 18 or older can apply for their CNIC by visiting their nearest NADRA Registration Centre with required documents, including a birth certificate or matriculation result card and a family member’s CNIC copy.

The Child Registration Certificate (CRC), also known as the B-Form, is available for a regular fee of Rs50, while executive services are offered for Rs500. The B-Form registers newborns into the NADRA system and is crucial for official documentation.
NADRA continues to operate under the Ministry of Interior and emphasises accessible services for all citizens. For more details, visit the nearest NADRA office or their official website.
