“I had my hair transplant done, I wanted dense hair that’s why I had it, I had my botox done, I had laser for eyebrows but I have a natural good eyebrows, I did not touch my original eyebrows shape, I had my rhinoplasty done because I had a round (droppy) nose, I didn’t feel pain while having rhinoplasty, I had my lip fillers, I had chin fillers, I got my full body laser done and I also do monthly fat freezing of my abdomen area”. He also explained the procedure of fat freezing.

The British influencer initially worked in the hotel management industry in Pakistan and moved to Dubai later on to progress in his career.

Sindh Raises Minimum Wage Salaries

The Sindh Minimum Wage Board has made upward revisions to the wages of factory workers. Zulfiqar Ali Nizamani, Chairman of the Sindh Minimum Wage Board, announced that skilled workers in the province will now have a minimum monthly wage of Rs 33,280, while unskilled workers will receive Rs 32,000 per month. These revised minimum wages will take effect from July 1, 2023.

Nizamani emphasized that it is mandatory for factory owners to adhere to these minimum wage regulations, and individuals with objections to the decision have a 14-day window to submit them.

Furthermore, Chairman Nizamani warned that strict action will be taken against those who fail to pay their workers the mandated minimum wages.

In a related development, the Sindh High Court (SHC) has directed the enforcement of the minimum wage set by the Sindh government. The SHC bench specifically ordered the government to ensure that sanitary workers receive a minimum of Rs 25,000 per month. Additionally, the labor department has been tasked with collecting reports from various departments for a comprehensive review of the matter.

Mental health stigma remains a significant issue in Pakistan. Many people in Pakistan, as in other countries, often associate mental health conditions with shame or weakness. This stigma can deter individuals from seeking help and support, leading to untreated mental health issues. Efforts have been made to raise awareness and reduce stigma through education and advocacy, but it’s still a prevalent issue that needs ongoing attention and change in societal attitudes.

Moreover, the lack of empathy by doctors also add to the dilemma. An individual who often tries to seek support is either met with unsupportive families or ends up in the hands of doctors who know nothing better. If cultural norms, stigmatization, and lack of awareness weren’t enough, add poor counseling and lack of sensitivity shown by the doctors are something that majorly refrains people from going to counseling.

A Pakistani’s Experience

A psychologist who is meant to be a safe space often ends up traumatizing the patient even more. Such an incident was shared by a Twitter user on her social media where a lack of support by her doctor led her to stop seeking therapy.

What’s Wrong With The Ad?

The iPhone 15 introduction video, in line with Apple’s usual standards, appears impressive. However, upon closer inspection, it becomes evident that there are noticeable editing errors that could have been rectified quite easily. These mistakes are so conspicuous that one doesn’t need to have particularly sharp eyes to spot them.

The video shows a noticeable misalignment of the camera sensor on the iPhone 15. From a videography perspective, this could be due to an incorrect focal length setting. Meanwhile, there also are clear inconsistencies in the bezels; the right bezel looks notably different from the left, and there are also discrepancies in the top bezel. The overall picture reveals even more intriguing details.

Another shot of the iPhone 15 shows a top that’s wider and narrows toward the bottom. This kind of distortion typically occurs when using an inappropriate focal length. It’s indeed surprising that such an oversight was missed. Additionally, upon closer examination, even the front-facing camera seems slightly misaligned.

Nonetheless, the iPhone 15 promotional videos revealed a marked decline in Apple’s typically high standards of quality control, which the company has been renowned for until now.

Pakistani actress, Ushna Shah, has been spilling details of her marriage and her idea of a strong relationship. In one of those interviews, she also got candid about her first impression of Hamza Amin before he married her.

“Hamza and I initially connected over the phone as he was in Karachi and I was in Lahore at that time. But before that happened, I had been hearing that some hot gora (foreigner) is in town and he’s meeting all the girls,” she revealed in Momin Saqib’s talk show, Had Kar Di.

“After a couple of days of speaking, we were going to meet and I showed his picture to a friend to ask if this is someone she should meet. That’s when I found out that he’s the foreigner I had been hearing out,” the Akhir Kab Tak actor added.

“I genuinely wondered if he was some player.”

The actress also shared Hamza’s version where he told his mother about his intention to marry Ushna the day he first met her.

Daniyal Zafar showcases a never-before-seen persona as he raps his verses, surrounded by an entourage of women with some glimpses of him in a hot tub. Meanwhile, Ali Zafar weaves Punjabi verses into the mix, sharing the screen with Pakistani women adorned in vibrant ethnic ensembles.

Social media is buzzing with contrasting views on the Punjabi trap and the music video, shot in both Los Angeles and Lahore, Pakistan.

The Zafar brothers spoke of their aspiration to transcend cultural borders through their music. “I always believed I could break barriers. Going to India for Bollywood was a big thing as a Pakistani, but it opened hearts… and showed how we can work together and have fun,” Ali Zafar reflected on his journey.

However, his fans are not feeling it.

Every once in a while we come across someone’s experience with PIA which is far from pleasant and a similar instance has been shared by a traveller on their social media platform which is saddening and disappointing.

What Happened To PIA?

While government and the attitude of authorities towards our industries is one thing. It’s what people choose to do with them matters more. While Pakistanis are an extremely unpredictable nation, such instances where inflicting damage to our own good is something that we are all familiar with.

However, such instances are now not just limited to wall chalkings and public transport markings but they have made their way to airplanes now. We, as a nation, have no sense of responsibility towards our own. A Twitter user, on his recent flight, shared such an experience with PIA which showcases our attributes as a nation.

The passenger who was boarded on a PIA flight shares images from inside the plane. The views are saddening and disappointing. The images shared showed plane seats being chalked with numbers and names with permanent markers.

Meanwhile, another picture showed a broken seat which looked like something out of the post-apocalyptic world and it’s no wonder why PIA has become the least favourite airline of Pakistanis. Having a bad travel experience once in a lifetime is something but to encounter such instances time and again is something no one likes to experience especially while travelling.

While Twitter users shared their thoughts on the instance, it seems like the attempts to privatize the airline are something that has to be done in due time.
