In a video shared on social media, Mansha explained that the incident occurred while they were returning home after dinner late Thursday night. Here have a look at the video.

Mansha Pasha who was visibly distressed in the video, said, “Just half an hour ago, my husband Jibran Nasir, who is a renowned lawyer and has done a lot for the country, was abducted by some people.”

Details Of The Abduction

She described how their car was stopped by around 15 armed men traveling in a white double-cabin vehicle, a Vigo to be exact. “We were coming back from dinner when a big white car stopped us abruptly, nearly causing an accident. There were about 15 armed individuals with pistols. They forcefully took my husband.”

Pasha has now requested the public’s support and has urged everyone to raise their voices in solidarity and pray for her husband’s safe and swift return. Condemnations immediately poured in as news of Nasir’s abduction spread. Numerous individuals and human rights organizations expressed their concern and demanded Nasir’s safe and immediate return.

The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) even tweeted saying, “HRCP is deeply concerned by reports of lawyer and activist Jibran Nasir being abducted by unknown armed persons in Karachi. We demand his immediate safe recovery and that his abductors be held accountable under the law.” which shows that his abduction hasn’t gone unnoticed.

In Pakistan on 1st June, according to new data from Standard Chartered, trade corridors in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East are expected to develop at a rate that is over four percentage points faster than the world average, increasing exports from these regions from USD 9 trillion in 2021 to USD 14.4 trillion by 2030. The Future of Trade 2030: New Growth Corridors report predicts that global trade will increase to USD 32.6 trillion over the same time from USD 21 trillion in 2021.

Based on an examination of previous trade statistics and forecasts through 2030, thirteen important markets are anticipated to account for 73% of all exports and 69% of all imports in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. This will result in a combined total trade value of USD19.7tn. Mainland India, China, and South Korea top the list by volume.

Simon Cooper, CEO of Corporate, Commercial & Institutional Banking and CEO, Europe and Americas, Standard Chartered, said: “Global trade continues to present growth opportunities within and across some of the world’s most dynamic regions. This research underlines how businesses are diversifying their sourcing and manufacturing decisions and offers practical insights into how this is playing out around the globe. It is predicted that global trade will migrate southward and outward, away from the West. A recent free trade agreement between India and the UAE and Bangladesh’s intentions to construct more than 100 special economic zones by 2030 would help South Asia become the export region with the quickest growth.

To develop the design for the Pixel Fold hinge, Google’s team explored various sources of inspiration. They examined boxes of hinges in the lab and studied the mechanics of paper and books. The goal was to recreate the seamless blending and one-handed operation of closing a book. One book that particularly caught their attention was a passport. Sangsoo Park, an industrial designer at Google, explained, “It feels like a little bit of a metaphor, too — your passport holds your memories and it’s where so many of your stories begin. And it’s thin and pocket-able enough to carry everywhere we go.”

The team also focused on perfecting the torque required to open and close the Pixel Fold, aiming to achieve an effortless feel. This resulted in a satisfying vacuum effect when opening and a pleasant sound when closing the device. Park added, “You get this satisfying clap when it shuts, and we really liked it.”

Durability test

Durability was a crucial consideration for Google during the development of the Pixel Fold hinge. To ensure it could withstand years of usage, Google created prototypes that were manually opened and closed countless times. Eventually, a machine was built to automate this process. The company carefully balanced magnets and received valuable feedback from both machine testing and user trials. The goal was to address concerns about the hinge’s long-term reliability.

To make the hinge as robust as possible, Google opted for heavy-duty stainless steel construction instead of aluminum. This choice not only enhanced durability but also added a visually appealing shine to the hinge.

Fuel Shortage Grounds Pakistan’s Flying Schools And Aviation Industry

During the gathering, Imran Aslam, the association’s founder, shed light on the distressing fact that even the renowned Edhi Air Ambulance service has been rendered immobile due to the unavailability of fuel and that seriously affects the people of the country because an ambulance is a basic necessity they might be cut off from soon.

Aslam further highlighted a major hurdle in the form of the State Bank’s non-issuance of a Letter of Credit (LC), preventing oil companies from importing fuel. This exacerbates the crisis by limiting the supply of vital resources.

Ushna Shah the Lollywood heartthrob has been grabbing all the media attention after her private wedding event to the professional golfer Hamza Amin. Whether it was her dress, the wedding ceremony, or her after-party, the poor girl has been receiving extreme backlash. So much so that she had to deactivate all her social media accounts to stop all the hate from taking a toll on her mental health. Now, she has again become a victim of the same negativity because of this post.

This photo shows a newly wedded couple enjoying a match but apparently, that is not all that the Pakistani audiences saw. They had a lot to notice and a lot to say as usual. People had a problem with the PDA and the fact that Ushna was so close and personal with her husband in public. Some even assumed that Ushna forces her husband to display such acts of PDA. Recently, a bunch of our favorite ones were seen in attendance at Shahbaz Shazi’s wedding event – Desi Night. He is a fashion photographer and every celebrity including Mahira to Kubra and Momal Sheikh to Mehwish Hayat was seen in attendance at the event. However, celebrities grooving to their favorite songs didn’t sit well with the netizens as they spammed the post with comments and their thoughts.

In a recent development, the Government of Sindh has announced the provision of scholarships to public sector teachers who are eager and want to pursue further studies. So if you are a teacher who has started teaching due to some unforeseen circumstances and still wants to increase their learning or you just want to keep studying then the Sindh Government has decided to solve your problem. The Sindh Education Department issued a notification stating that these scholarships will be offered at the prestigious Institute of Business Management (IOBM).

Scholarship Programs

The scholarship programs consist of a range of academic disciplines, including:

Bachelor of Education (BEd)
BEd Honors
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Educational Management
Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Education
Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

Details

The notification emphasized that the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) is for supporting teachers from the public sector in their professional growth and is therefore offering financial assistance to those teachers who secure admission at IoBM. Teachers who cannot afford further studies are eligible for receiving financial assistance for MPhil and Ph.D. candidates will be provided through installment-based tuition fee waivers, while those pursuing BEd will receive a generous 50% reduction in tuition fees.
