Mentos is now available in a recyclable bottle which is brilliant. This new packaging is a 90-percent paperboard bottle and has been created for their sustainability initiative. This new paperboard bottle which currently only has Fresh Mint and Spearmint is on everybody’s mind. It can hold 80 pieces of gum and is available at all the Walmart stores in the US.

Building Sustainability, One Gum At A Time

Mentos also wants to involve their consumers in the whole process. So, everybody who buys the packet will find recycling instructions on the paperboard bottle. This will be achieved using typical U.S. curbside services or local drop-off programs. According to Perfetti Van Melle, the name behind the brand, Mentos is the first to achieve this. Mentos becomes the first in the market in the gum category to become sustainable to this extent.

Although Walmart is the first and only U.S. retailer so far to stock the new paperboard bottle, others are interested. Perfetti Van Melle shared that it has received “high interest” from many other retailers to sell the product. Get on the bandwagon, this is the best one!

Jeep’s First Fully Electric SUV To Make Its Debut In 2023

Jeep will launch its first fully electric SUV early in 2023. Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares announced the news during the automaker’s Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan presentation.

Jeep has been slower to embrace electrification as compared to many of its rivals. The automaker has released plug-in hybrid versions of its Wrangler and Grand Cherokee SUVs. Meanwhile, the plans of an off-roading version of the Grand Cherokee, the Trailhawk, which also comes with a hybrid motor are also in the line.

Electric SUV -The Look

It features signature Jeep traits like a seven-section grille and aggressive, bulky look. The SUV’s rear door handles are placed up by the window, rather than in the conventional spot.

The brand’s signature seven-slot grille, will be the same feature. However, the grille is closed since there’s no gasoline engine under the hood.

The yet-to-be-named SUV seems to be on the smaller side of the Jeep Compass or Renegade but we won’t know its size for sure until the company releases more information.

Details like range, horsepower, and price are also a question mark at this point. Stellantis did not specify where the EV will be sold when it launches early next year, and a spokesperson did not immediately return a request for comment.

The Jeep Lineup 

Serious efforts to electrify the Jeep lineup started last year with the Wrangler 4xe, a plug-in hybrid variant of the iconic Wrangler offering approximately 35 kilometres of EV range thanks to a 17.3kWh battery.

The next-generation Grand Cherokee is also getting the 4xe treatment in North America, while the smaller Renegade and Compass are already available as plug-in hybrids over in Europe.

Ingredients 

  • 2 Packs of noodles
  • 1.5 cup of water
  • Chopped Coriander
  • 2 tbsp of cornflour
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp Pizza Sauce
  • Mozzarella Cheese

Toppings

  • Chopped Onions
  • Sliced Capsicum
  • Corns
  • Tomatoes
  • Oregano
  • Olives

Instructions 

  1. Take a wok, add 2 packets of noodles, add 1.5 cups of water, noodle masala, and let it cook until it becomes 80% done.
  2. Now, add some chopped coriander and parsley. Once the noodles are 80% done with some water, switch off the flame because we don’t want to overcook it.
  3. To make it crispy, add 2 tbsp of cornflour and mix it with 2 folks gently, make sure that there are no lumps in it.

  4. Now, heat the non-stick pan, and as it gets hot, add 1 tbsp oil and spread it evenly. Spread the oil with a brush and now add the prepared noodles mix into it.
  5. Spread this noodle mix with the help of folks into a round shape. Make sure the noodles bind and stick together; otherwise, it will break while flipping it.
  6. Now, add 1 tbsp oil of its surrounding and cook it for 3-4 minutes at medium flame until it gets golden color from the bottom and then flip this and cook it from another side similarly.
  7. Apply 3 tbsp pizza sauce or Red Chilli Sauce on top of it and spread it evenly.

  8. Add mozzarella cheese and spread it evenly, followed by some chopped onions, capsicum, corns, Tomatoes.
  9. Now, cover it with a lid and cook it for 4-5 minutes on medium flame.

What Happened?

TRJ Pakistan Ltd has recently shared a loss of Rs12.6 billion for October-December. This is a major point of contention in comparison to its net profit of Rs3.6bn, same time last year.

According to stock analysts, the significant loss was experienced because of a  net loss on investment in TRGIL. TRGIL is an associate company and its loss was estimated to be that of Rs14.8bn. The report published suggests, “This was due to (the) mark-to-market of investment in IBEX after its share price slid down by 34pc during October-December, resulting in a loss of Rs6.8bn,” it said.

TRJ is one of the most popular stocks on PSX hence, its major decline has shaken many.

PSX’s Decline

PSX is more volatile than most markets especially because it operates for a third-world economy. Pakistan is riddled with political conflicts, unfoldings and also impacted by other global events. BankIslami Profits Continue To Rise

Not all stocks are experiencing a fate the same as TRJ. BankIslami Pakistan Ltd reported its earnings for 2021. They were reported to be Rs2.1bn, up 25.1pc from the same time last year.

Xiaomi To Start Manufacturing Smartphones In Pakistan From Next Week

In a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Air Link informed the inauguration ceremony It’s Mobile Device Manufacturing Facility. The company will be responsible for the production of Xiaomi handsets in Pakistan. The launch will take place on March 4, 2022 at Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate, Kot Lakhpat, Lahore.

Pakistan’s Air Link Communication Limited on announced the news on Monday.

Xiaomi Production Facility 

“It’s a historic event for our country where Xiaomi, one of the largest smartphone companies, is kicking off production in Pakistan by joining hands with Select Technologies (Pvt) Limited” read the statement.

“This production facility is a step forward in the direction of PM’s vision of ‘Make in Pakistan’. It will have a huge impact on Pakistan’s economy resulting in the export of locally-produced Xiaomi mobile phones,” Air Link added.

President Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi is expected to inaugurate the production facility near Lahore. Last year in November. According to the reports, the initiative will generate a sale volume of $550 million per year. Meanwhile, creating thousands of jobs in Pakistan.

A Hit For The Company’s Stocks

The company’s share price nearly increased by four per cent on Monday, after the information was shared with PSX. Its stock price moved from Rs54.75 to Rs56.87. Chairman, Engineering Development Board (EDB), Almas Hyder said that 30 companies took permission to set up mobile assembling plants and out of the 30, 19 companies have already started assembling. “We are expecting the remaining companies would also soon be starting their operations at their respective plants,” Hyder said.

Jazz Invests PKR 13.9bn In 4Q21, 4G Population Coverage Reaches 65%

Islamabad, 28 February 2022 – Jazz, Pakistan’s number one 4G operator, and the largest internet and broadband service provider invested PKR 13.9 billion under its ‘4G for all ambition’ during 4Q21. Jazz’s total customer base grew by 9.2% YoY to 72.6 million including 35.0 million 4G subscribers and approximately 1,500 additional 4G sites were added during the last twelve months.

It is uncommon for a Pakistani brand to do the same but if Bareeze is moving in the same direction then they better hurry. Is Apple Working On 20-inch Foldable Display?

Apple is working on a foldable iPad/MacBook hybrid with a large 20-inch display. Mark Gurman, a reporter with an impressive track record reports the news.

The tech giant is looking at the idea of making a dual-screen, foldable MacBook/iPad hybrid that would use “one side of the display serving as a virtual keyboard,” according to Gurman’s unnamed source.

Without the virtual keyboard, the device would perform like a giant iPad that can be folded for greater portability, or when one half of the display offers sufficient space for the user to perform their desired task.

The next foldable device of Apple will be an iPad and iMac hybrid that will help in the portability of a massive display for users’ needs. The device would most likely stow or fold into the size of a 10-inch iPad, which is the regular size of its classic variant, and would unfold to a massive display of as much as 20 inches like the iMac.

However, it is yet unknown if the display will be a Mac or an iPad with a touch screen.

The Variants

According to the reports, the iPad/MacBook hybrid might feature three forms.

  • The first form is a fully opened 20-inch display. It could be used as a gigantic tablet or with a complementary external keyboard.
  • The second is a half-folded state that resembles a laptop.
  • The third hybrid can be a fully folded screen which might cut its physical image size to 10 inches.

Ideally, the 20-inch display will allow UHD/4K resolution or higher due to its size.
