Mahira Khan has come out with a clothing brand and the fans are not amused. The actress took to social media to announce the release of her first clothing line ‘M by Mahira’. The clothing lines feature an elaborate series of white kurta and white dupattas heavily inspired by the aura of the 90s. The brand thrives on designing minimalist and crafty pieces to elevate your daily wardrobe. However, there is a catch.
‘M By Mahira’
Mahira’s fashion sense needs no introduction. The actress has inspired us to step outside our comfort zone time and again and has served some major looks both onscreen and offscreen over the years. The same is the case with her clothing line, even though she hasn’t managed to make our jaws drop. The femininity and essence of her aura can be seen reflected in her designs. However, one thing that has put the nail in the coffin is the price point. For a white kurta with minimalistic embroidery, the price range of the entire collection is bonkers starting from as low as Rs.12000 and going all the way to Rs.25000.
While the brand has managed to call out the brand for being overpriced and overrated and truth be told we kind of agree with the public’s stance. There are quite a few ways to stand out while launching a clothing brand releasing overpriced white kurta’s is surely not one of them.
“Log pagal hain jo in tags aur brand k peechay bhagtay hain. Ye aam se kapre hazaron m khareed lenge aur ghareeb ko 100 rupiya extra dene m mout aati hain.” One user wrote.
“Itny expensive .. this is too much .. itna mehanga kapra b ni banta jitni yh loog prize set kar laity hain”
Meanwhile, many were amused to highlight that people who thrive on names and brands will surely get their hands on the designs as soon as they get the chance.

Zoox, an Amazon subsidiary, has reported the successful testing of a self-driving car with its own staff as passengers. The test, which took place on a public road in California between two Zoox buildings, was part of the firm’s debut of a free staff shuttle service, which will also help the company develop its technology.
Zoox is creating a totally autonomous vehicle from the ground up, rather than modifying current vehicles for self-driving, and it lacks a steering wheel and pedals. It seats four people, two of whom are facing each other. The technology is being developed to fulfill regulatory criteria, and the test run on a public road marked an important step forward in the process.
When does it hit the road
Zoox CEO Aicha Evans told Reuters, “Putting the vehicle on open public road and verifying our approach to all of the many criteria, including regulatory, is a huge step, and we would not have done it unless internally we were already looking at the line of sight for becoming commercial.”
While Evans declined to specify a timetable for the commercial launch, the successful test is a big step forward for the firm, which was purchased by Amazon in 2020 for $1.3 billion. However, regulatory obstacles have hampered progress towards commercial deployment, with other firms like as Waymo and Cruise also encountering difficulties.
Source: BusinessLive
Despite these obstacles, Zoox’s tech head, Jesse Levinson, stated that the firm was still on target to achieve 2,500 people this year, up from slightly under 2,000 at the start of the year. And, with the market for self-driving cars heating up, it appears that the race to master this technology is far from done. Who knows, maybe we’ll all be driven about by robots sooner than we think.
Other companies getting involved
For more than a decade, Google, General Motors, and other technology and transportation corporations have invested billions of dollars developing self-driving vehicles with the promise of greater safety and convenience for riders. Yet, as the economy slows, several evangelists have abandoned their efforts, citing exorbitant costs and illusive revenues as reasons.
Ford and Volkswagen, two of the world’s largest manufacturers, ended their combined attempts to build self-driving taxis through a business named Argo AI in October.
Ford CEO Jim Farley stated at the time that he is “optimistic” about the future of completely driverless vehicles, but that “profitable, fully autonomous vehicles at scale are a long way off.” The corporation would not have to develop the technology itself.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) unveiled the official anthem for the country’s premier Twenty20 cricket event, which is set to begin next week. The inaugural season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) tournament was conducted in the United Arab Emirates in February 2016 since certain foreign cricketers were hesitant to play in the South Asian country due to security concerns. The PSL and its franchises began developing their own anthems to market themselves while inspiring their supporters. Many of these songs were quite famous and eventually took on a life of their own outside of the competition.

Pakistani cricketers such as Khan, Shahid Afridi, Misbah-ul-Haq, Umar Gul, Fakhar Zaman, Umar Amin, Babar Azam, Rumman Raees, Usman Shinwari, Faheem Ashraf, and Amad Butt appear in the music video getting ready on the pitch. Rameez Raja may also be seen drumming, Shoaib Malik boxing, and Ahmed Shehzad playing guitars in the video.

4.Khel Deewano Ka (2019)
The tune was the official anthem of the fourth season of the Pakistan Super League, the 2019 Pakistan Super League. Shuja Haider wrote and produced the song, which was sung by Fawad Khan and included rap by Young Desi. HBL Pakistan launched it on January 18th.
Khan’s management quickly verified the story. Haider has already worked on various songs about cricket in Pakistan. “This is the first time I’m composing the PSL anthem,” he told The Express Tribune, adding, “I’ve also written the song.” The anthem’s music video was posted simultaneously on Facebook and YouTube on January 18, following an announcement the day before. It depicts fans holding their team’s playcards.
5. Tayyar Hain (2020)
It was the official song of the fifth season of the Pakistan Super League, the 2020 Pakistan Super League. It was composed by Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan (Xulfi) and performed by Ali Azmat, Haroon, Asim Azhar, and Arif Lohar. HBL Pakistan, in cooperation with Pepsi Pakistan, introduced it on January 28.
A day before its release, the anthem was formally unveiled. According to the press release, the song will depict national pride as Pakistan prepares to host all of the league’s matches for the first time.
6. Groove Mera (2021)
It was the official song of the 2021 Pakistan Super League, the league’s sixth season. Adnan Dhool wrote the song, which was performed by Naseebo Lal, Aima Baig, and Young Stunners.
It was announced on January 16, 2021, that Aima Baig, Naseebo Lal, and Young Stunners will perform the official hymn for the sixth season of the PSL. The music video, directed by Zeeshan Perwez, was shot in Lahore from January 19 to 21, including outside shots at Gaddafi Stadium and inside at Bari and Evernew Studios. Some of the fans that were summoned by PCB to join the shoot leaked a few making-of scenes. The first official teaser was uploaded on the PSL’s official Tik-Tok account on January 23, followed by the anthem on January 24.
8. Sab Sitaray Humaray (2023)
It is the official anthem of the 2023 Pakistan Super League, the league’s ninth season. Abdullah Siddiqui produced and wrote the song, which was sung by Shae Gill and Asim Azhar and included rap by Faris Shafi. HBL Pakistan published it on February 11, 2023.

With PSL 2023 commencing and with just two matches in, the audience has witnessed its first “heat of the moment” clash between the players. Yesterday, 14 February, the second match of PSL 8 was held at Karachi National Stadium. In the game, Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings squared off. Cricket is a game full of aggression and strong feelings, both from the players and the fans. So, fights and heated moments like these are quite common in such tournaments.

Mohammed Amir is a Pakistani cricketer and bowler for the Pakistan national cricket team. He is notoriously known for being the “angry young man” of the team. It is never new news to the public when they read or hear about Amir losing his cool during a game. Something similar happened in yesterday’s match. Mohammad Amir angrily threw the ball after getting a four from Babar Azam.
Muhammad Haris, a new player, blasted Mohammad Amir for an amazing four to open the innings. In the first over, Babar also smacked a powerful cover drive against Amir. In the sixth over of the game, the two stars squared off once more. Amir erred by drifting off his line and bowled an easy delivery down the leg side. Amir’s annoyance increased when Babar simply flicked the ball to the boundary. Have a look at the video first.
When Babar played a defensive shot directly at Amir on the following delivery, the bowler lost all control of his anger and flung the ball in the direction of the batsman. But as the wicketkeeper caught the ball, it was not intended for Babar. During the same match, just before this incident, Amir also abused Haris after being smashed a four.
Maybe Amir just wasn’t having a good day yesterday. But cricket fans definitely did not like Amir’s aggressive attitude. Have a look.
Who tf Amir thinks he is?? He needs to calm tf down. First he abused Haris and now showing unnecessary aggression to Babar. pic.twitter.com/HFkv2X15MF
But what was that behaviour from Mohammed Amir ? Yar aisey karega to Babar isai kabhi apni 11 me nahi khilayega.. chache PCB isko permission kyu na dede
Mohammed Amir has a lot of resentment built inside him. He takes it out immaturely on others. The day he realises that the resentment is for himself and what he did to himself, he will sleep easier.
I miss when mohammed amir used to be the golden boy for pakistan. Inspired a generation of left arm pacers including my own brother. Now hes j an old man talking shit about ppl and it makes me so sad
Is this the first time Mohammed Amir has let his emotions get the best of him during a match? No. But is this the last time? Who knows? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

At the PSL opening ceremony, Aima Baig was able to perform her rendition of the Pakistani national anthem. But the real question is, was it simple enough to win over the crowd? The PSL opening ceremony took place yesterday and Aima Baig was now of the artists who were to be performing. She not only sang her own songs with Sahir Ali Bagga but also started off the event with her own version of the Pakistani national anthem. Here is the video.
Netizens being netizens had a lot to say about the performance. And not all of it was good. As a result of channeling her inner “Sia” and “Ariana Grande,” Aima was subject to trolling. Here are some of the opinions from Twitter.
The entire performance was awkward and embarrassing, to say the least. The Pakistani national anthem is an iconic anthem, we are sure we will remember Aima every time we hear this anthem from now on. Netizens’ reaction to Aima Baig’s song has been nothing short of hilarious. While some wondered about her obsession with English songs, others wondered how she managed to stay confident throughout the performance.
What do you think about this? Let us know in the comments below.

AI has advanced dramatically in the recent few decades. What was previously thought to be only feasible in science fiction films like Men in Black or The Matrix is now a reality. AI is already pervasive in areas ranging from health, fashion, and real estate to food and tourism. Its popularity has grown so rapidly that it has given rise to several strange uses.
It’s not all peaches and cream, though. According to a survey of worldwide firms that are already utilizing AI, a quarter of the corporations polled indicated a 50% failure rate for their AI initiatives.
1. Tesla car crash
Elon Musk’s Tesla ran into difficulty after a Tesla Model S crashed north of Houston in April, killing two people. The automobile had missed a tiny curve on the road and collided with a tree. According to early investigations and witness testimony, the driver’s seat was unoccupied at the time of the incident. As a result, it’s thought that Tesla’s Autopilot or Full Self Driving (FSD) technology was activated during the collision.
Two men dead after fiery crash in Tesla Model S.
“[Investigators] are 100-percent certain that no one was in the driver seat driving that vehicle at the time of impact,” Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman said. “They are positive.” #KHOU11https://t.co/q57qfIXT4fpic.twitter.com/eQMwpSMLt2
Tesla’s AI-powered Autopilot technology can manage steering, acceleration, and braking in specific instances. According to Musk, AI is intended to learn from the activities of drivers over time. Several safety advocates have chastised Tesla for not doing enough to prevent drivers from becoming overly reliant on its Autopilot functions, or from utilizing them in scenarios for which they were not built.
2. Amazon AI showed bias against women
Amazon began developing machine learning techniques in 2014 to examine resumes. The AI-based trial hiring tool, on the other hand, had a serious flaw: it was prejudiced toward women. The program taught to evaluate applications over a ten-year period by reviewing resumes submitted to the firm. Because the majority of these resumes were provided by males, the algorithm learned to prefer male candidates. This meant that resumes containing phrases like “women’s” (as in “women’s chess club leader”) were devalued. Graduates from two all-colleges women’s were similarly ranked lower.
3. AI mistakes a head for a ball
An AI-powered camera meant to automatically track the ball at a soccer game ended up monitoring the bald head of a linesman instead. The event occurred at the Caledonian Stadium in Scotland during a match between Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Ayr United. The Inverness club had resorted to employing an automatic camera instead of human camera operators during the outbreak last October.
Everything is terrible. Here's a football match last weekend that was ruined after the AI cameraman kept mistaking the linesman's bald head for a football.https://t.co/BsoQFqEHu0pic.twitter.com/GC9z9L8wHf
However, “the camera kept mistaking the ball for the bald head on the sidelines, robbing spectators of the genuine action while focusing on the linesman instead,” according to sources.
4. Microsoft’s AI turns sexist and racist
Microsoft introduced Tay, an AI chatbot, in 2016. Tay conversed with Twitter users in a “casual and humorous manner.” In less than 24 hours, however, Twitter users manipulated the bot to post highly sexist and racist comments. Tay used artificial intelligence to learn from its exchanges with Twitter users. The more it conversed, the “smarter” it grew. Soon after, the bot began repeating incendiary claims made by users, such as “Hitler was correct,” “feminism is cancer,” and “9/11 was an inside job.”
As the disaster developed, Microsoft was forced to pull the plug on the bot just a day after it was launched. Later, Microsoft’s Vice President of Research, Peter Lee, apologized.

Samsung has announced three new flagship phones for 2023: the Galaxy S23, the bigger Galaxy S23+, and the top-tier Galaxy S23 Ultra. All will be available on Android 13 with One UI 5.1. If you’re used to Samsung’s software, you’ll be OK, but if you’re coming from an older device, you may notice that there are a lot of new functionalities and that things have relocated. The same is true if you’re an Android user: it’s familiar, but not identical. The Galaxy S23 has a lot packed inside it, and this is the definitive guide to figuring it out.
Top tip
If you get stuck, slide up from the bottom of the screen to open the applications tray on the Samsung Galaxy S23. To help you discover items, there’s a search bar at the top that searches settings, applications, contacts, calendars, and more.
Find setting
Locate the following settings: Much of what follows requires entering the settings; to do so, swipe down from the home screen and look for the cog in the upper right corner. When you tap here, you’ll be sent to the settings menu.
Turn on gesture navigations
Turn on gesture navigation: Samsung still offers button controls, which may be enabled by default. If you wish to use Android gestures, go to settings > display > navigation bar. You can modify the arrangement of the buttons or pick ‘Swipe gestures’ instead.
Source: Samsung
Alter your home screen
Alter your home screen: A long hold on any home screen’s wallpaper allows you to edit the wallpaper and style, themes, widgets, and access other options. This section also allows you to add screens (swipe to a new page and tap the large + in a circle) and erase entire screens (hit the trash can icon up top).
Customize UI colors
Change the colors of your UI: Through the home screen choices, you may access Android’s Material You feature. Then, select wallpaper and style. Aside from altering the backgrounds from the defaults, including animated ‘video’ alternatives, you’ll find the option for color palette in this area. This allows you to change the colors of the user interface based on your background. That option is also available for icons, but it only applies to native Samsung applications or folder backgrounds.
Link to Windows
You can sync to a Windows PC to manage mobile alerts, see recent images, make and receive calls through PC, access messaging/conversations, and sync mobile apps. Toggle it on in settings > linked devices > Link to Windows. You will then be guided through the setup procedure.
Source: Samsung
Turn on Google Assistant
Enable the “Hey/Ok Google” hot word: The Google app includes the hot word for getting Google to answer with just your voice. If you didn’t activate this on the first setup, the best method to access the settings is to launch Google Assistant (as above) and say “show me Google Assistant settings”. You’ll then navigate to the settings menu, where the first choice is for Hey Google and Voice Match, which you may enable.
Turn on eye comfort shield
Turn on the eye comfort shield: This adjusts the color of the display in order to eliminate blue light, avoid eye strain, and maybe help you sleep better. Toggle on ‘Eye comfort shield’ in settings > display. By selecting this option, you may choose between adaptive and custom modes, allowing you to have it on all the time or only from a specified period.

Last week, a woman came forward on social media claiming to be Pakistan’s favorite singer Sajjad Ali’s sister. However, in a recent video posted on the official account of the singer, Ali shut down the rumors by calling them fake.
Sajjad Ali In The Industry
Sajjad Ali, who has been serving in the Pakistani music industry for almost forty-three years now, has shared his views regarding netizens and social media users who give heeds to such baseless rumors for clickbait and money. While addressing the claims the singer stated,
“I don’t even know her, I know people do such things for clickbait and money, if she needed the money she could have asked, she could get better help but I know things are different, they are done by the people who are after someone’s fame or success and they want to tarnish the image or want attention.”
While calling out the rumors and rumormongers, the actor claimed that his reputation is never at stake with such kind of behavior. He further said that he is aware of his loyal followers who have made sure to always stay loyal despite all the controversies that have arisen over the years.
“They are done by the people who are after someone’s fame or success and want to tarnish the image, but I know that the people and my loyal fans, whom I’m working for, are aware of all the truth. Therefore, I’m least affected by such stupid claims,” the singer concluded.
The singer also noted that he is not going to take any legal action against the woman since he believes that she came forward with the fake news under the influence of a bigger party.
People have been discussing the implications of artificial intelligence and other new automated technologies on America’s employment market since ChatGPT hit the globe by storm last autumn. The idea that “robots are snatching our jobs” was bolstered further by viral videos showing new, “totally automated” McDonald’s and Taco Bell locations.
The immediate reaction to these films is to fear that robots will take our jobs; however, while AI and other forms of automation have advanced, this does not necessarily imply that they will eliminate jobs. Instead, new technology is merely altering how we work and the types of employment that exist. Behind screens, machinery, and charming robot faces, automation technology has brought in a fleet of covert laborers. Robots and chat-bots do not replace humans; they just keep them out of sight and out of mind. While disconnecting customers from the staff who serve them may benefit the firms, there is emerging evidence that it is a bad bargain for the employees.
The famous robot operated Mcdonlads video
In many cases, these films and tales — and the concerns they inspire — are devoid of critical context. The future McDonald’s is a concept shop outside of Fort Worth, Texas, that aims to increase service speed and accuracy by effectively disconnecting the contact between its employees and customers. However, this does not imply that there are no humans in the store. If you watch the video closely, you can see a worker in the rear behind a pane of glass. McDonald’s has stated that the store is not “totally automated,” and that it employs a similar number of employees as a typical location.
This is a fully automated McDonald’s. No employees. Just robots. I’m going to miss those McDonald’s fight videos 😭 pic.twitter.com/ljtvlqHQsA
Even if these tools appear to be more advanced, this isn’t the first time a robot-driven freak-out has occurred. Less than a decade ago, new technological breakthroughs sparked a similar worry that robots were on their way to humans. According to a 2014 study, automation will remove 47% of all occupations by 2034, and self-driving technology would abolish the need for human taxi and delivery drivers, while long-haul truckers are on borrowed time.
People frequently overlook the extent to which robots still require human beings to function in the midst of the fear-mongering about a robot takeover. Consider customer service: Businesses have been attempting to minimize expenses for years by replacing human phone conversations with chat-based, automated customer-service bots. However, rather than replacing customer service representatives, many of these text-based technologies still rely on human backups in difficult scenarios and to give consumers the impression that they are speaking with a real person.
What about corporate jobs
Companies will tell you that the automation drive is all about efficiency and better servicing consumers. McDonald’s says that its concept shop would improve service and result in fewer incorrect orders, but Tesla claims that automated data labeling is more efficient. The assumption is that these robots or software solutions would make a work faster or better, making life simpler for businesses and customers alike. However, these technologies do not make the process more efficient; they simply transfer the necessary labor away from the end user and detach individuals from the effort required to provide a product.

AI is positioned as providing different sorts of empowerment and liberation: we will be able to work more effectively, spend less time performing chores, and whatever we desire will be a click or touch away. However, such promises seldom give an honest picture of how that technology is reshaping our society or the full cost of those ostensible benefits. Automation may empower some individuals, but it makes life far more difficult for unseen employees who keep everything running.

The eighth season of the Pakistan Super League kicked off yesterday, on Monday at the Multan Cricket Stadium with a spectacular opening ceremony. The PSL 8 anthem was sung by Abdullah Siddiqui, Asim Azhar, Faris Shafi, and Shae Gill during performances for cricket fans in Multan and throughout the world, who witnessed magnificent performances by a variety of performers.

Aima Baig, the young talented, and beautiful singer started off the ceremony by singing a rendition of the Pakistani national anthem.
Quetta and Peshawar will also host PSL matches in 2024, according to Najam Sethi, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee, who spoke during the occasion. “PSL has granted Pakistan a number of assets. We may be proud that this has grown to be a global brand. Several local and foreign players are making their debuts this year”. He added. He mentioned how the competition had provided national team players like Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Hasan Ali. “Full congratulations in advance to those who will win”. Let the game begin. Sethi ended his speech. Here is his speech.
HBL CEO Muhammad Aurangzeb then addressed the crowd. The CEO of HBL anticipated that the young athletes will do well in the competition. He, likewise, urged the spectators there and everywhere else to take pleasure in the competition. No matter who wins, Pakistan has truly triumphed, he continued.
The ceremony moved ahead with the first performance of the night. Sahir Ali Bagga, a well-known music composer, and Aima Baig, a super singer, added to the lineup and provided performances for the spectators. Here is their performance.
Followed by these two stars was the new and brilliant dance group that performed a mashup of all the old and new PSL anthems. The Colony is a dance group from Lahore that showcased its talents at the PSL opening ceremony.
After this performance, came the most awaited performance of the night. The new PSL anthem has already been receiving immense love from the audience and yesterday was its first-ever live performance. The energetic and pumped Asim Azhar, Shae Gill, and Faris Shafi rocked the stage.
After all the performances were over, the PSL opening ceremony ended with a grand firework show. This was also the first time that AR and VR technology was used in Pakistan. It truly was a sight to look at.
The Lahore Qalander team was also seen enjoying themselves and the light show from their balcony.
Tesla is frequently regarded as a one-of-a-kind example in the automobile business. There is no doubt that the producer of electric cars has managed to gain a significant lead over all of its Western competitors. According to Counterpoint, it had 13% of the worldwide passenger electric car market in the third quarter of 2022 with Volkswagen, the second-largest Western automaker in terms of passenger electric vehicle sales, with a 4% market share.
This dominance is evident not merely in sales numbers but, more importantly, in profit. Profit margins at the Austin, Texas-based firm are unprecedented in the automobile sector. Such margins can be seen in technology organizations.
Tesla’s profit margins
According to its annual report, Tesla’s automotive gross margin was 28.5% last year. Ford had an adjusted margin before interest and taxes of 6.6% in 2022, while GM predicted its adjusted Ebit margin in North America would be 10.1%.
According to a survey by ZT Corporate analyst Azhar Hirani, the average profit margin for major automobile businesses globally between 2015 and 2020 was about 7.5%. Profitability varies per firm, but Hirani believes that luxury automobile brands, such as BMW, will have better profit margins than general and cheap brands. There are, however, exceptions to this trend, such as Volkswagen and Toyota, both of which indicate economic potential.
Large incumbent carmakers sell their cars at low to zero true margin. Most of their profit is selling replacement parts to their fleet, of which 70% to 80% are past warranty.
Like razors & blades.
New car companies lack this advantage. Also lack sales & service infrastructure.
Critics of Tesla and Musk frequently point out that the firm benefits from cheaper expenses than incumbent automakers. Costs associated with gasoline automobile manufacture are borne by GM, Ford, Volkswagen, and other automakers. Costs associated with their dealer networks, etc., must be added to this. Tesla has no retail locations. The Model 3 sedan, Model S sedan, Model Y SUV, and Model X SUV are all sold directly to customers by Tesla. Tesla also does not promote, in contrast to its competitors, who spend millions of dollars on marketing.
Tesla strong in the cost game
Musk, on the other hand, feels it’s about more than just cutting expenses. The billionaire believes that the secret to his company’s long-term prosperity is also dependent on the product, or the automobiles manufactured. This is what he just said in a Twitter thread.
Large incumbent carmakers sell their vehicles at low to zero actual margins, according to a Twitter account that often tweets pronouncements from Musk, as he is known at Tesla. The majority of their earnings come from selling replacement components to their fleet, 70% to 80% of which are out of warranty. Razors and blades, for example.

It’s all about the automobile, really. Tesla automobiles do vary from other manufacturers in terms of appearance, both outside and inside. The lines are clean and straightforward. The Tesla vehicle takes pleasure in providing its consumers with a completely unique experience, not only via its power and the technology it incorporates but also through its sleek and slightly futuristic style, which defies the preconception of electric automobiles. Tesla also places a premium on interior capacity and an unmatched sense of room.
Furthermore, Musk and Tesla pioneered the over-the-air transmission of software upgrades in automobiles with new features and capabilities. Vehicle owners are alerted when an update is ready and given information on how to install it themselves. This keeps their vehicles up to date with the newest advancements while also providing the automobile manufacturer with a consistent stream of revenue through subscriptions for service updates.

As part of its Good Lock series of modules, Samsung released the Camera Assistant app last year, allowing Galaxy owners to tweak even more settings in their phone’s camera app. Smoothing, automated HDR, lens change, and more features are available. According to a post on the Korean Samsung Community site (h/t: SamMobile), Samsung has upgraded the Camera Assistant with new features and changes.
The all-new quick-tap shutter feature
The most striking new feature is a quick-tap shutter option, which allows you to shoot a shot when you initially hit the shutter key rather than when you release the shutter button. Enabling this function also affects the behavior of the shutter key when held, first shooting a photo and then producing a GIF, video, or photo burst.
Another new feature in the Camera Assistant update is the ability to minimize the screen while filming, which is a useful method to conserve battery life. Without touching the screen, users may configure the display to darken after a minute, two minutes, five minutes, or ten minutes of recording.

Existing features have also been improved, beginning with the smoothing/softening toggle. Instead of a basic on/off toggle, this is now a three-stage option (off/medium/high). The business demonstrated the impact with varied levels of sharpness.
The Faster Shutter option has also been improved, allowing you to select between capturing standard-resolution or high-resolution images. When shooting at standard resolution, you have the option of selecting quality priority (slower but higher quality), a balanced option, or speed priority (faster shooting at the expense of quality). Meanwhile, photography at high resolution provides just quality and speed priority options.

Samsung is also expanding the timing settings available through the Camera Assistant app. You may now take an image every 1 second, 1.5 seconds, 2 seconds, 2.5 seconds, or 3 seconds. Because of the high screen brightness and extensive processing, the phone might occasionally overheat while using the camera continually. You may assist the phone stay cool by using the Camera Assistant app to darken the screen. You may use it for longer-than-one-minute video recordings (or 10 minutes).
Updates will be available on certain models
Samsung also revealed that the Camera Assistant app will be available on a far larger number of high-end Galaxy handsets. The app will be available for all Galaxy S series phones beginning with the Galaxy S20 series and ending with the Galaxy Note 20 series. It will also be accessible on foldable phones, beginning with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 2. Here is the entire list:

The AI “revolution” has arrived, and it already appears to be getting a little out of hand. With the prospect of easy profits looming, many firms have begun to roll out new tools and solutions that leverage artificial intelligence to improve user experience. Search engines, Hollywood, and the media sectors all appear eager to get involved. Nonetheless, this completely uncontrolled industry has the ability to significantly change existing industries, our way of life, art, legal systems, and even our brain. Here are some of the warning signals that the robot revolution might turn out to be a disaster.
1. Chat GPT passes a coding exam
ChatGPT appears to be intelligent enough to be employed by Google. According to NBC, the internet giant evaluated ChatGPT for coding aptitude in the same manner that new programmer hires are generally tested, and it passed with flying colors. “Amazingly, ChatGPT is recruited at L3 [level 3] when interviewed for a coding position,” according to an internal note obtained by the news source. According to PC Magazine, such a career pays an average yearly income of $183k. Others who have tested the chatbot have expressed worry about the job stability of human developers.
2. Chat GPT being used by judges in court
One of the dumbest ideas I’ve ever heard is to automate our legal system. Even so, people are saying it. In a troubling recent development, a Colombian court opted to use ChatGPT to deliver a legal judgement on an autistic child’s medical insurance. Judge Juan Manuel Padilla Garcia allegedly believed it would be a good idea to save time during the hearings by using the chatbot. The justifications for this decision will be decided using artificial intelligence (AI),” Garcia stated in his conclusion. “What we truly want is to reduce the time spent crafting judgments after confirming the material given by AI.”

3. AI replaces voice actors
According to a recent Motherboard report, the entertainment sector is likewise attempting to automate voice acting. According to the publication, voice performers are being asked to give up their rights to their own voices so that AI systems may generate “synthetic” replicas of their sounds. According to the publication, these new contractual duties are only one of several concerns performers have about the advent of voice-generating artificial intelligence, which they claim threatens to drive entire swaths of the profession out of employment.
4. AI entering the Stock Market
Of course, AI is now thrilling Wall Street, just like every other dazzling new bauble that smells like money. According to The Morning Brief, the “stock market hype machine” has now landed on everything with “AI” in its name, which means that any firm whose product can claim minimal relation to automation is now poised for a huge NASDAQ glow-up. As the Brief points out, it’s essentially web3 all over again.

5. Using AI to spy on people
What is the most terrifying thought? Combining surveillance and artificial intelligence to produce super-smart spying devices. That doesn’t seem promising. Unfortunately, Wired recently revealed that AI is being linked into large networks of security cameras in Russia in order to build cities where “there is no place to hide.” Charming! I can’t wait for the American edition.
