An Eatery Is Selling ‘Asian Nachos’ & People Are Calling It A ‘Sin’

Asian Nachos

Almost every day now, foodies discover new food trends that drive people on the internet crazy. People come up with the weirdest food combo and discover the most unique food places for foodies to try. This week, too, a new food controversy has made its way to the internet. Everyone loves nachos. Foodies might change the dipping sauce with the nachos but changing the nacho’s ethnicity might just be a crime.

This tweet, with the picture of “Asian Nachos”, has baffled nacho lovers and the general public too. A Malaysian eatery has just started selling the popular Indian snack “papad” by the boujee name of Asian Nachos and people are not here for it. The toppings include avocado, tamarind salsa, and crispy shallots which are also popular Indian masalas.

The eatery is not just getting mocked because of their idea but also the price that they have set for their “innovative” dish. According to the restaurant’s website, the “Asian Nachos” is priced at 25 Malaysian ringgits, which is approximately Rs.1400 in Pakistan and ₹ 500 in India. Since being shared by the user named Naan Samantha, the post has gained more than 7,200 likes and over 437,000 views. One Twitter user revealed that the restaurant is called ‘Snitch by the Thieves’ in the comment section.

Many people had the same reactions of disappointment and some even disgust. Some disagreed with the whole concept while others hated it for the overpricing and its actual worth especially Indians and Mexican Twitter users. Many expressed their opinion with the help of memes. “I wonder if they’ll call “moong ka papad” as black dotted nachos? And I’m pretty satisfied with the 2rs papad which I get with masala powder can’t afford the 27 dollars lol,” one user remarked. Another person questioned whether Mexicans or Indians should take offense more strongly. “Sin not just a crime,” wrote a third person, while a fourth added ironically, “Me: I want nachos… Mom: we have nachos at home… *Nachos at home.”

What are your thoughts on these Asian Nachos? Tell us in the comments below.

Times Pakistani Actresses Were A Little Too Inspired By Bollywood

Lollywood and Bollywood have always had a conflicting relationship and when it comes to something as grey as fashion and makeup many actresses on both sides of the border have been inspired by each other. The makeup and fashion industry is very repetitive so looks are bound to repeat on the red carpet.

1. Saboor Aly and Aishwarya Rai

This look of Aishwarya Rai was seen at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013 which then inspired Saboor Aly at the Lux Style Awards in 2021.

2. Sonya Hussayn and Shehnaaz Gill

The pink sequin saree has been around for a long time but recently Sonya imitated the look at the 8th HUM Awards.

3. Ayeza Khan and Jhanvi Kapoor

Ayeza Khan was also inspired by Jhanvi Kapoor’s photoshoot look and put her own twist on it at the Hum Awards 2022.

4. Aymen Saleem and Ananya Pandey

Aymen Saleem also completely copied Ananya Pandey’s swirly dress look at the 8th HUM Annual Awards.

4. Alizey Shah and Alia Bhatt

Alizeh Shah also got inspired by Alia Bhatt’s plain jane black dress look and showcased it at the 2021 HUM Awards.

5. Sajal Aly and Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone and Sajal Aly were spotted again wearing a similar dress. They wore the polka dot dress by Marmar Halim in varying colors.

6. Mahira Khan and Deepika Padukone

The two of the most talented actors in their industries were spotted previously as well wearing the same red Zara drape dress.

7. Mahira Khan and Aishwarya Rai

Two of the most famous actresses in the Pakistani and Indian entertainment industry were spotted in the same Druv Kapoor red-blue striped suit. Mahira Khan wore it at the London Asian Film Festival.

8. Sarwat Gilani and Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt has yet again inspired another Pakistani actress. Sarwat Gillani followed the same trend and tried to look like Alia Bhatt at the KHSA’21 event.

9. Sonya Hussyn and Malaika Aurora

Sonya Hussyn has also imitated Malaika Aurora at the HUM Style Awards. She also showed up in a neon yellow blazer and even had a similar photoshoot.

iOS 16.3 Features: Here Are All New Updates

After many weeks of testing, Apple today made iOS 16.3 and iPadOS 16.3 available to the general public. While this is a fairly minor upgrade, there are still several changes that are worth knowing about.

1. Security Keys

Users have the ability to add a third-party security key to their Apple ID account using Security Keys for Apple ID. This key will be required for authentication whenever they access their Apple ID or log into a new device.

The standard type of authentication that Apple employs, the Security Key is intended to take the place of the verification codes that are issued to Apple devices when logging into another device. According to Apple, physical security keys offer effective defence against phishing and unapproved account access.

2. Unity Wallpaper

Black History Month, which is observed in February, is commemorated by a new Unity wallpaper that Apple recently released.

3. Advanced Data Protection for iCloud

The greatest degree of cloud data protection offered by Apple is provided via Advanced Data Protection for iCloud, which employs end-to-end encryption. With the release of iOS 16.2, the function was made accessible to users in the United States at the end of last year. However, iOS 16.3 makes it available to all users globally for the first time.

In order to guarantee that customers may retrieve their data in the event that they misplace their Apple ID account, Apple maintains the encryption keys for specific iCloud data types on its servers by default. When Advanced Data Protection is enabled, the encryption keys are removed from Apple’s servers and kept solely on the user’s devices, making it impossible for Apple, law enforcement, or anyone else to access the data, even in the event that the iCloud servers were compromised.

4. HomePod support

Support for the second-generation HomePod, which debuted last week, is added in iOS 16.3 and iPadOS 16.3. In addition to having a redesigned touch interface, support for humidity and temperature monitoring, Thread connection, an Ul chip, and other features, the HomePod 2 is comparable in size to the original HomePod.

5. Emergency SOS changes

In order to avoid unintentional emergency calls, Emergency SOS has been upgraded. The side button and either the up or down volume button must still be depressed in order to place a call, but now both buttons must be released.

6. Bug Fixes

Numerous problems, including ones with Freeform, the Lock Screen, and Siri, are fixed in iOS 16.3 and iPadOS 16.3.

  • Fixes a problem in Freeform where some sketching strokes made with your finger or an Apple Pencil might not show up on shared boards.
  • a problem where the wallpaper on the lock screen can seem black is fixed
  • The Home Lock Screen widget’s inaccurate presentation of the state of the Home app is fixed.

7. iPhone 14 Pro Max display fix

When the iPhone 14 Pro Max first wakes up, a problem that might result in temporary horizontal lines appearing on the display has been fixed, and the lines should no longer occur.

Best Scholarships For Pakistani Students

Scholarships are an excellent method to provide you access to a world of possibilities. They not only provide you an excellent learning experience but also help you become a more well-known student and a contender for future ambitions. You can study abroad in a variety of ways. The most coveted achievement is, however, receiving a scholarship. Good academic standing and other certifications are necessary. Since you must apply for the post and demonstrate that you are the best candidate, unlike self-paid admittance options,

Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Program

The Erasmus scholarship program is quite intriguing and provides the chosen applicants with several advantages. A bachelor’s degree, a strong academic record, an English language exam with a really excellent score, recommendation letters, a very well-written motivation letter, and other application procedures are all required for admission. It typically only provides a master’s program in a small number of niche subjects.

Erasmus+ programs are interesting because they provide integrated master’s degrees. This permits you to study at several universities across multiple European nations (usually two or three). This scholarship program is more flexible in terms of requirements than other ones. A two-year work permit is granted to you once you have earned your degree. Consequently, this is a fantastic chance to begin your career.

Fulbright Scholarship

A very prominent scholarship program that allows Pakistani students to attend the top US colleges is called Fulbright. Basic prerequisites for admission include a prior degree, a score on the English language proficiency exam, letters of recommendation, a personal statement essay, and the GRE. The application requires completion of a number of additional fields. Both master’s and doctoral programs are available.

Additionally, it pays for all living and travel costs. It does, however, contain stringent guidelines that students must follow. One of them is that you have to return home and stay there for an equivalent amount of time.

DAAD Scholarships

The DAAD offers several financing possibilities. However, the major DAAD scholarship for Pakistani students is a fantastic initiative that greatly benefits its recipients.

It mostly focuses on German institutions of higher learning. It provides a small number of varying programs each year. Under it, initiatives for degree scholarships as well as research money are available. Depending on the degree or financing you are seeking for, the criteria change.

MEXT Scholarship

Every year, MEXT awards scholarships to students from abroad. To receive a scholarship to study at one of the top institutions in Japan, you must be competitive. It offers several courses and spans practically all fields of study.

It’s a terrific program with plenty of advantages that takes care of all the necessities for learning, traveling, and living. You must provide evidence of your English language proficiency through an official exam, just like for the scholarships mentioned above. You can examine the application process’s somewhat more difficult details on its official website.

Chevening Scholarship Program

A prestigious scholarship program that allows you to attend the top colleges in the UK is called Chevening. Outstanding academic and professional credentials are required for the procedure, which is quite competitive.

Every year, the entrance requirements are increased to the application. However, aside from the GRE, the fundamental ones remain the same as those described before (as it does not need that). For this award, you must provide proof of your academic standing for the previous two years. This program pays for all of your tuition and living costs, but it also comes with a requirement that you return home for an equal amount of time.

SAPPHIRE’s Rebranding: A Forever Evolving Story

Since its inception in 2014, SAPPHIRE has established a name for itself for offering affordable trend-inspired collections. Over the years SAPPHIRE has expanded its collections to include menswear, kidswear, western-wear and non-apparel lines such as home and beauty. Fast forward to 2023 and SAPPHIRE is beginning a new chapter of its forever-evolving story that starts with a rebranding. The brand has decided to adopt a contemporary yet timeless look for its new branding that modernises its perspective in offering a complete lifestyle to its customers and focuses on the ideals of modernism, quality, and sustainability.

A vision for change

Fashion is such a dynamic market where new trends and customer shopping habits are constantly changing and new brands emerge, it is vital for existing brands to keep on evolving to stay relevant. SAPPHIRE’s rebranding not only keeps it relevant in this everchanging industry, but also reflects the brand’s adaptive character that allows it to be creative, progressive, and mindful.

The creation of a new identity

Although SAPPHIRE’s visual identity has not experienced drastic shifts over the years, the brand has gradually updated its look to a cleaner, letter-based logo before going through to this bolder rebranding exercise. Once known for its easily distinguishable bird ident, which also translated into its animal print apparel designs, SAPPHIRE has now transformed its identity to a minimalist bold font that has been designed to work with both feminine and masculine products.

The minimal and modern typeface was strategically selected to ensure that the brand stays relevant to the current trends, an attribute that is imperative for all pioneering fashion brands, but also something that will have longevity. As the first part of its forever-evolving chapter, SAPPHIRE has introduced the next generation of its carrier bags that are made from 100% recycled and recyclable paper. These new bags, decorated in blooming florals and blue summer skies, symbolize the next step in SAPPHIRE’s commitment to reducing waste as they can be purchased for a nominal fee, proceeds of which will contribute to SAPPHIRE’s ongoing sustainability programme, where SAPPHIRE has already made huge strides, like repurposing fabric, investing in solar panels across stores, and reducing plastic usage.

Looking into the future

In an era where “less is more” and “minimalism is the name of the game,” the decision to adopt a more modern look is in complete alignment with the expectations of the modern-day customer, and it’s about time that brands recognize the need to change their viewpoint according to the demands of the customer, no matter which industry they belong to. SAPPHIRE’s new look, which it plans to strengthen over the course of the year, comes as a refreshing start to the new year, one that we expect many brands to follow.

Pepsi Calls For A ‘Ride for Change’ In The New Why Not Meri Jaan Campaign

Why Not Meri Jaan has taken many forms since its inception and each one has been a unique spectacle for various expressions such as Music, Dance, Cricket, and so much more!

The latest chapter of this campaign has ignited a conversation about the essence of the era we live in, adapting to change with time so we grow and evolve!
“Waqt kay saath agar soch bhi badli jaa sakti hai, tou #WhyNotMeriJaan?”

Aligned with the idea, we saw the campaign evolve from important messaging online into a massive social spectacle; an all-female bike riders rally, where everyone took a #RideForChange!

On 22nd January, we saw 400+ fearless females riding bikes along the beach with notable celebrities, influencers, and riders from women’s first bike training institute called ‘Pink Riders’ to support the cause of a more conducive commute for women in Pakistan.

“I am running a Montessori school. I feel very proud of myself to be able to travel independently on the road by myself. I am 64 years old and my age has never been a hurdle in riding a bike!”- Mrs. Zubaida Asghar Khwaja (Pink Rider)

We also saw Sindh Police playing an active role in the event by training all these women about road safety measures, rules, and regulations. After the session, all the participants got their learners’ permits on the spot. Way to accelerate the movement!

We are astonished by the way this campaign has unfolded, bringing a very important problem to light and enabling progress as a society that embraces development, and comprehends gender roles for a better tomorrow!

“Women should be able to commute on bikes without judgement and eye rolls!” -Urwa Hocane

To see so many women together #RideforChange was an emotional sight. Why can’t women ride motorcycles? Why can’t women be in motorsports? Why not Meri Jaan? Zenith’s (The Motorcycle Girl)

Pepsi Ride For Change 🏍 what an incredible day of watching hundreds of female riders on their bikes on the streets of karachi – lets please Normalise this- Women everywhere in Pakistan should travel however they want whenever they want wherever they want and we should support them.”

It’s Time To Change Gender Perceptions In Pakistani Ads

Marketers are constantly trying to find ways to tend to a certain audience. This may cause companies to intentionally or unintentionally use stereotypes. Gender stereotypes are over-generalizations about the characteristics of an entire group based on gender. However, not all commercials use stereotypes to sell their products. Fortunately, Pakistani ads have started to evolve with time. Here are some gender-neutral ads that are now being shown on TV.

Shan

The ad starts with a father and his children going through old pictures but realize their mother is nowhere to be found in the pictures. This eventually makes them realize that she was always cooking, cleaning, or doing other chores that “only women are supposed to do”. The message that they are trying to get across is that the female figures of the houses do not belong in the kitchen or the cleaning room and these chores can also be done by the fathers and brothers in the family.

Pepsi

Similarly, Pepsi also launched an ad that is breaking gender stereotypes that only men can own bikes and ride them. The ad starts with a boy looking for the owner of a bike that is parked at the wrong spot; making it difficult for him to park. He goes to every guy in the crowd to ask whose bike it was. This tells us how it is hardwired into people’s brains that only men can own a bike. Eventually, a girl stands up and owns her bike, and rides off in the distance leaving all the men behind impressed and fazed.

Pampers Ad

This ad is another example of how men can change and how their responsibilities are not just limited to earning for the family and doing “manly” stuff. Dads can also change diapers and look after the kids and women too can just work.

Shan Shoop Ad

Shan has previously also made such short ads to promote gender equality. This ad also shows that a woman can cook and change the tires. This further proves that women can do anything they like and so can men as long as it is not condescending to the opposite gender.

Such ads show us how normalized gender stereotyping has become. People are doing it in their daily lives and they do not even realize they are doing it. This has become such a problem because now people actually implement these gender stereotypes. When they think that women belong in the kitchen or in the house, they start pressuring those thoughts which are when deprivation of rights gets involved.

Further, in Pakistan, women make up less than 10 percent of STEM professionals. If this is not the implementation of gender stereotyping then what is? Because this certainly isn’t by choice. In the traditional culture of Pakistan, women are subject to face many psychological and physical atrocities due to having a severe stereotypical perception of gender roles.

These discriminatory thoughts are expressed in the form of attitudes, traditions, norms, and beliefs. The patriarchal societies of the world are very much male-oriented and male-identified with specific constructs of feminist and masculine roles. Such ads help promote gender equality and women who are constantly struggling for independency and basic human rights.

Ads making a difference

Pakistan is a patriarchal society where men are the primary authority figures and women are subordinate. This has serious implications for women’s and men’s life prospects. Fortunately, ads like these are now breaking these gender stereotypes. If not on a very large scale, such ads do make a difference. Even the smallest amount of change can make a huge difference in the nation as a whole.

ChatGPT Aces MBA Exam, Leaves People Shocked

A master of business administration (MBA) is a graduate degree that provides theoretical and practical training for business or investment management. An MBA is designed to help graduates gain a better understanding of general business management functions. However, this exam is not as easy as it sounds. There’s no question that it’s challenging. Luckily, you aren’t alone when it comes to tackling the challenges of business school. You now also have access to a great deal of support and resources to help you succeed. ChatGPT can be a student’s new best friend.

What is ChatGPT?

Based on GPT-3.5, OpenAI created the big language model chatbot known as ChatGPT. It is remarkably capable of engaging in conversational conversations and responding in a way that occasionally seems surprisingly human. Large language models perform the task of predicting the next word in a series of words. It’s a ground-breaking technology that has been trained to understand what people mean when they ask questions. Many users are fazed at its capacity to deliver responses of human quality, which gives rise to the idea that it might soon have the ability to revolutionize how people interact with computers and alter how information is retrieved. It was created by San Francisco-based artificial intelligence company OpenAI.

Did ChatGPT Really Pass an MBA?

This AI robot allegedly passed an MBA exam and people are stunned. New research conducted by a professor at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School found that the school’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) program’s final exam could be passed by the artificial intelligence-driven chatbot GPT-3. The author of the study was Professor Christian Terwiesch. The study was called “Will Chat GPT3 Attend Wharton for an MBA? Based on its performance in the operations management course, a prediction,” He concluded that the bot’s exam grade was between a B- and a B.

Terwiesch also commented on what was later published in the paper, “the bot showed a remarkable ability to automate some of the skills of highly compensated knowledge workers in general and specifically the knowledge workers in the jobs held by MBA graduates including analysts, managers, and consultants.” and  “amazing job at basic operations management and process analysis questions including those that are based on case studies.”

Good or Bad?

However, teachers and parents fear that this might encourage cheating and dishonest behavior among students. Teachers also think that because the bot gives such humanlike answers, it will be very difficult to distinguish between its answer and an actual person’s answer. On the other hand, some teachers are not worried at all and think that ChatGPT can be very helpful for younger audiences in many ways.

Young people who do not interact openly in real life might find a friend in this AI robot. Since there are no limitations as to what a person can ask, people can literally talk to ChatGPT about anything. However, this may have unknown consequences too.

In conclusion, Terwiesch said that ChatGPT3 “at times makes surprising mistakes in relatively simple calculations at the level of 6th-grade Math.”The present version of Chat GPT is “not capable of handling more advanced process analysis questions, even when they are based on fairly standard templates,” Terwiesch added. “This includes process flows with multiple products and problems with stochastic effects such as demand variability.”

There have been subsequent conversations revolving around whether it should be banned or not. Terwiesch believes there’s a way to marry education and AI to enhance learning for his students. What do you think?

A ‘Living Medicine’ Can Now Treat Lung Infections

Scientists have developed a new living medicine that is known to cure lung infections. Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a type of bacteria naturally resistant to many different types of antibiotics. This specific bacteria is also a source of hospital infections. Scientists are working on a treatment that involves using a modified version of the bacterium Mycoplasma pneumoniae. The bacteria’s ability to cause disease will be removed and it will be repurposed to attack P. aeruginosa instead.

This modified bacterium will be used in combination with low doses of antibiotics that cannot work on their own.

Bacteria As A Living Medicine Treatment

The efficacy of the medicine was studied in mice. The results suggested that the ‘living medicine’ has the potential to double the survival rate in mice compared to those which didn’t undergo any treatment.

“We have developed a battering ram that lays siege to antibiotic-resistant bacteria. The treatment punches holes in their cell walls, providing crucial entry points for antibiotics to invade and clear infections at their source. We believe this is a promising new strategy to address the leading cause of mortality in hospitals,” says Dr. María Lluch, Chief Scientific Officer at Pulmobiotics, co-corresponding author of the study and principal investigator at the International University of Catalonia.

Dr. Ariadna Montero Blay, co-corresponding author of the study in Molecular Systems Biology states,

“Live biotherapeutics such as M. pneumoniae provide ideal vehicles to help overcome the traditional limitations of cytokines and unlock their huge potential in treating a variety of human diseases. Engineering cytokines as therapeutic molecules was critical to tackle inflammation. Other lung diseases such as asthma or pulmonary fibrosis could also stand to benefit from this approach.”

The potential of M. pneumoniae to tackle infections in the lung can open multiple avenues for researchers to study new strains of the bacteria. This will help scientists to develop treatment options for other types of respiratory diseases such as lung cancer or asthma.

“The bacterium can be modified with a variety of different payloads — whether these are cytokines, nanobodies, or defensins. The aim is to diversify the modified bacterium’s arsenal and unlock its full potential in treating a variety of complex diseases,” says ICREA Research Professor Dr. Luis Serrano.

Finding the ideal Samsung phone for your requirements might be difficult because there are so many fantastic Samsung phone alternatives available. There is a Samsung phone for everyone, whether they desire a high-performance phone with amazing camera skills and a plethora of fascinating features, or a less expensive handset that does the bare minimum.

In the end, personal choice will determine the greatest Samsung phone. Here’s how to choose the best Samsung phone for yourself because there are so many alternatives available.

Best Samsung Phones 2023

Galaxy S22 plus

Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus review: The all-rounder Android phone to beat
Source: Android Authority

Price: PKR 231,000

Although it is the middle child in the Galaxy S22 family, the Galaxy S22 Plus is still important to consider. Its 6.6-inch screen size is ideal for the majority of users, it has a modern glass and metal appearance, and its camera has significantly improved over the S21 generation. Even though it costs $1,000, it seems like the appropriate choice for people seeking a screen that is sizable but not enormous together with one of the best cameras available.

Galaxy S22

Price: 185,000

Other than that, the Galaxy S22 offers many of the same advantages as the Galaxy S22 Plus. This features an updated design that feels sleeker than the S21, a 50-megapixel camera with enhanced low-light shooting, and a new CPU. It is essentially a scaled-down Galaxy S22 Plus, minus the Plus’s larger battery, quicker charging, and capability for ultrawideband.

Samsung A53 5G

Price: PKR 104,000

Fans of Samsung will value what they are receiving here, especially given the low cost. The Galaxy A53 5G enables night photography and includes an ultrawide lens for photographs with a wider field of vision. Although it’s not as nice as what you’d get on a more costly Samsung phone like the Galaxy S21 FE or Galaxy S22, the image quality is still bright and vibrant enough for simple photographs. A long-lasting battery, four generations of upgrades to the Android operating system, and a microSD card slot for additional storage are further benefits.

Samsung Z Fold 4

Price: PKR 416,000

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 typically costs $1,800 (ouch! ), which is still significantly more than the average smartphone. However, the most recent iteration of Samsung’s book-style foldable is full of minor upgrades that together make for a far more pleasurable experience. When closed, it seems more natural to use as a phone because of the narrower hinge, modest weight reduction, and broader cover screen. This is in addition to more commonplace smartphone updates like a new CPU and an improved camera akin to the Galaxy S22’s. It was referred to as his “favorite Android tablet” by reviewer Patrick Holland.

Samsung A42 5G

Price: PKR 92,000

The A42 5G Android phone is slightly below the A52, has less RAM, does without the macro camera, and has a front-facing camera with inferior quality. For those of you who watch a lot of videos while you’re on the go, it still features 5G connection, a larger battery, and a somewhat larger display, which might make it a wonderful budget Samsung phone alternative.

Samsung A12

Price: PKR 41,000

For those of you who just want a phone for all of life’s necessities, the Galaxy A12 is one of the most affordable models that Samsung offers. With this approach, you won’t have to spend for costly cameras or processing power comparable to supercomputers. Although it lacks 5G, it has four back cameras, a 6.5-inch display, and a sizable 5,000-mAh battery. Given the specifications’ relatively minimal requirements, the battery should easily last all day.

Here’s Why You Tend To See Dead People

The links between poor sleep and paranormal beliefs have been linked scientifically, according to a recent study that was published in the Journal of Sleep Research.

According to the study, greater belief in ghosts, demons, the ability to communicate with the dead, the soul continuing to exist after death, near-death experiences as proof of life after death, and that extraterrestrials have visited the earth was associated with poorer subjective sleep quality among subjects, as measured by lower sleep efficiency, longer sleep latency, shorter sleep duration, and increased insomnia symptoms.

Does it have to do anything with aliens?

Additionally, sporadic cases of “exploding head syndrome” and sleep paralysis were linked to “the assumption that aliens had visited Earth,” according to the investigators.

Survey results were primarily utilized in the study. 8,853 people who were all at least 18 years old completed the survey and provided their opinions on their personal sleep patterns and propensity towards the paranormal.

It’s really just poor sleep quality

Even after adjusting for age and gender effects, it was discovered that a higher level of paranormal belief was linked to lower subjective sleep quality for all correlations, the authors write, adding that the study shows links between paranormal belief and several sleep factors.

What gives, though? The mechanisms linking the associations, according to the researchers from Goldsmiths University of London, are probably intricate and need a close examination, but they did offer up a few theories, such as the possibility that some of the more severe sleep problems include visual and auditory hallucinations.

The researchers want to learn more about this intriguing link, including whether sleep-deprived people mistake eerie sounds and visuals for ghosts and aliens or whether their beliefs are what truly makes them anxious and prevent them from falling asleep. Maybe they can just take a nap till then.
