Rubina Ashraf Criticizes Alizeh Shah For Her ‘Non Realistic’ Looks

Veteran Pakistani actress Rubina Ashraf was seen as a critic on the show Kya Drama Hai on 24NewsHD, which evaluates dramas and actors on their acting abilities. Other critics include Atiqa Odho, Nadia Jamil, and host Mukarram Kaleem. Because of her identical appearance and thick makeup in all of the dramas, Rubina Ashraf rated Alizeh Shah no marks and referred to her as “zero” when assessing the drama Chand Raat aur Chaandni.

Elaborating on her comments she stated, “For me, Alizeh is zero because she does not get out of this look in any play. I want her to be without makeup in one of her plays, at least one of the situations. She is all about makeup and wears it even when it is not necessary.” Here is the video. Have a look.

Rubina further said, “Sehri main bhi wahi makeup hai jo dulhan bani hui thi tab, itni unintelligent acting ka zamana bohot pehle khatam ho gaya tha.”

The show’s host, Mukarram Kaleem, lost his composure and intervened to protect Alizeh Shah. Therefore, a debate between the two critics resulted. Finally, Rubina Ashraf counseled Mukarram Kaleem to avoid taking the criticism personally because it was simply meant to criticize Alizeh’s playing abilities and her appearances in the dramas. The ladies mockingly even teased him by saying that Alizeh might be very good “friends” which is why he got offended.

Experts Emphasise The Importance Of Climate-Smart Agriculture To Secure Pakistan’s Food Security

In Pakistan, on March 7, 2023, Syngenta Pakistan and the Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services (PIPS) hosted a high-profile policy discussion on “Climate-Smart Agriculture and Food Security: Challenges & Way Forward for Pakistan” in Islamabad. The session brought together important stakeholders from the public, private, development, and academic sectors, including members of the parliament and representatives from the UN FAO, ADB, PMAS Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, and Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad who stressed the need for action. The objectives of the session were to highlight the key challenges facing the country’s food security and identify viable solutions to mitigate these challenges in the context of climate change and to respond to the impacts.

Honourable Speaker of National Assembly, Mr. Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and stated that “Pakistan has become highly vulnerable to climate change, and not because of our own doing, which is manifested in the form of recent super floods which had wreaked havoc on our agriculture. It is essential that we protect our agriculture against climatic shifts and utilize sustainable practices to improve our climate resilience. We are at a turning point in our history. It is through persistence and resilience that we will overcome all the changes that our nation is currently facing.”

Senator Seemi Ezdi (Chairperson Senate’s Standing Committee on Climate Change) was of the view that “Women in Agriculture have an important role to play in ensuring the food security of the country. Most of the labor force in the agriculture sector constitutes of women workers. While it gives us food for thought to upskill the female labor force in agriculture, it also is an indication of promoting more female farmers who are equipped with the latest technologies for dealing with climate change and productivity issues.”

Dr. Shahida Rehmani, an MNA, praised the timely initiative taken by Syngenta Pakistan and the Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services and expressed the hope that: Without a doubt, the Roundtable Report will assist Parliamentary committees in advocating for and supervising the formulation of national policies on climate-smart agriculture.

The speakers underlined the importance of coordinating efforts to address the country’s intersecting issues of climate change, food insecurity, water scarcity, and rising temperatures. They valued the policy conversation because it served as a useful point of reference for the discussion of climate action and helped them better comprehend the ideas of “climate-smart agriculture” and the relationship between food security, climate change, and sustainable agriculture.

Here’s Why Pixel Watch Users Are Now Complaining

Source: Daily Express

The Pixel Watch was highly anticipated by Google fans, but since its release, users have been experiencing issues with one of the most basic functions of a smartwatch – the alarm clock. According to recent reports, Pixel Watch users are complaining about the device failing to wake them up on time, which has caused a great deal of frustration for many.

So, why are Pixel Watch users experiencing these issues with their alarms? The problem seems to stem from the device’s software, which may not be fully optimized for the alarm function. Some users have reported that the alarm will go off, but it is not loud enough to wake them up, while others have found that the alarm simply fails to go off at all.

Google's Pixel Watch delivers nice hardware, but fails to answer the 'why' | TechCrunch
Source: TechCrunch

How have Pixel users been tackling the issue?

As a result of these issues, some users have had to resort to using their smartphones as backup alarms, defeating the purpose of owning a smartwatch. Others have reported being late for work or missing important appointments due to the unreliable alarm function of the Pixel Watch.

Google has acknowledged the issue and has stated that they are working on a fix for the problem. However, for those who rely on their smartwatch as their primary alarm clock, this is a frustrating issue that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later.

Exploring Pixel alternate

In the meantime, there are a few workarounds that Pixel Watch users can try. Some users have found that setting multiple alarms or using third-party alarm clock apps can help to alleviate the problem. Additionally, making sure that the device’s volume is turned up and that it is properly charged before going to bed may also help to ensure that the alarm function works as intended.

Despite the alarm issue, the Pixel Watch is still a popular choice for those in the market for a smartwatch. Its sleek design and intuitive interface make it an attractive option, and its integration with Google Assistant and other Google services make it a powerful tool for staying connected and organized.

However, the alarm issue is a reminder that even the most advanced technology can have its flaws. It’s important to keep in mind that no device is perfect, and that sometimes we may need to rely on tried and true methods like traditional alarm clocks or our smartphones as backup options.

While the Pixel Watch is a great device in many ways, the alarm function issues are a cause for concern for many users. Google’s efforts to address the issue are appreciated, but until a permanent solution is found, users may need to find workarounds or use alternative devices to ensure that they are waking up on time.

This New Disease Is Linked To Ingesting Pollution

Scientists at the Natural History Museum in London have discovered a new disease in birds. Plasticosis, caused by the ingestion of excessive amounts of plastic can lead to scars in the digestive tract from ingesting waste.

Plasticosis Is Caused By Plastic Pollution

According to the study, published in the Journal of Hazardous Materials, this is the first study of its kind to record plastic-induced disease in birds. Since plastic pollution is becoming prevalent the scarring was seen across different ages and types of birds.

The amount of scarring seen in birds was directly related to the amount of plastic the birds had ingested. Plasticosis along with tubular degeneration can also cause birds to become more vulnerable to infection and parasites. As well as, affect their ability to digest food and absorb some vitamins.

“This study clearly demonstrates the ability of plastic to directly induce severe, organ-wide scar tissue formation or ‘plasticosis’ in wild, free-living animals, which is likely to be detrimental to individual health and survival,” researchers write.

“As plastic emissions continue to grow and plastic pollution becomes increasingly prevalent in all environments globally. It is likely that exposure of all organisms to plastic is inevitable.”

Read More: A ‘Living Medicine’ Can Now Treat Lung Infections

Researchers Warn

“This study is the first time that stomach tissue has been investigated in this way and shows that plastic consumption can cause serious damage to these birds’ digestive system.”

According to Dr. Bond, a lead researcher in the study states.

“The tubular glands, which secrete digestive compounds, are perhaps the best example of the impact of plasticosis. When plastic is consumed, these glands get gradually more stunted. Hence, they eventually lose their tissue structure entirely at the highest levels of exposure.”

“The ingestion of plastic has far-reaching and severe consequences. Many of which we are only just beginning to fully document and understand,” the authors of the study warned. Since the use of plastic is inevitable, researchers suggest bringing forth such policies and standards which can at least minimize the exposure of birds to plastic.

7th March 2023 Update: After the whole Hareem Shah leaked videos fiasco took the internet by storm. There have been some developments in the case. Previously, Hareem Shah came out with a video on Facebook with her husband where she clarified the whole drama. She accused her so-called friend, Sandal Khattak of recording and leaking inappropriate videos. Sandal Khattak and Hareem Shah have quite a history. They have been “best friends” for the past 4 to 5 years, at least in front of the public. They also auditioned for Waqar Zaka’s reality show, Champions, together. They both have had many ups and downs online and their large following is witness to that. Sandal Khattak recently talked to a private news channel responding to all the “fake” accusations.

Sandal told a private TV network that Hareem ought to bring a lawsuit against her. “Why would we do this with her? She should file a case against me, or Ayesha or her boyfriend but she should file a case,” Sandal instigated. She stated that she would sue Hareem for damages for making false charges if she was unable to provide evidence to support them. “Hareem told me that her videos were filmed by her boyfriend but now she is saying that her husband had filmed them. She claimed that her phone was hacked but iCloud cannot be hacked,” said Sandal.

Sandal persisted in asserting that her boyfriend was the one who recorded Hareem’s video. She continued, “A video becoming released is a routine thing for Hareem. Sandal revealed that Hareem had stolen money from her and that when she demanded it back, she provoked a fight. This is the reason why their friendship ended. “I didn’t get my money back, and we broke up,” she admitted. Hareem shared her own footage for fame, according to Sandal, and now she’s accusing others.

Stay tuned to Brandsynario for more news and updates.

Update: According to Hareem Shah, her friends shared her videos as a result of their growing disputes. She said that the videos were made to make fun of her. The video soon gained popularity and was spread across the internet through unofficial and inappropriate channels. Recently, Hareem Shah came out with a video about this topic on Facebook. Her husband sat beside her and claimed that he would never leave his wife’s side especially not during such a time. Here have a look at the video.

https://www.facebook.com/pakistanijournal/videos/190381070356357/

The famed TikToker Hareem Shah’s husband Bilal Shah expressed indignation and dismay over the release of his wife’s private recordings to social media, saying he would not abandon his wife in this hour of need despite being constantly advised to do so.

Bilal added that he was outraged and dismayed by the behavior of her friends because they were permitted access to their home, which is a private area, as well as the ability to share rooms like good friends, would. He claimed that he had not anticipated their ability to conduct such a thing with their acquaintance. Despite being women themselves, they degraded and abused the character of a woman, Bilal continued.

“In my eyes, they have done a very ungraceful thing.” Hareem Shah’s husband also said: “After we land in Pakistan, we will take every legal action which could be taken against them.”

“A lot of people have been calling and texting him about being an honorless person and that he should leave his wife,” Bilal Shah claimed. Where will she go if I were to leave her? Bilal said, while further adding “a real man in his eyes is a person who stands by his wife in an hour of her need and supports her. Those men who leave their wives in such a time are not real men. Those who are calling me names are themselves dishonorable and ignoble.” He said: “I am only answerable to Almighty Allah if I leave her it would be an injustice to her”.

“I will never leave her in this hour of extreme need”, he highlighted.

The TikToker expressed regret about her decision to trust Sandal and Ayesha, let them inside her house, and grant them access to everything. Hareem affirmed that the videos had been leaked and that her husband had complete faith in her. It should be mentioned that the day prior to the episode, Hareem claimed that both of her friends had threatened to disclose her footage on social media.

In addition, Hareem claimed that after receiving threats, she had also contacted the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), but that organization had informed her that “action cannot be taken until the content is made public.”

Her pals did that in an effort to disrupt her blissful marriage. She said, “Out of jealously and jealousy, they stole my personal videos and leaked them.

Hareem Shah has taken to her TikTok account to share the details about the breach of her privacy as her controversial videos go viral on social media. The influencer who has been at the center of some of the biggest controversies has landed herself in one yet again after her private videos were leaked on social media by her friends and fellow influencers.

Hareem Shah Reveals The Person

In a video recorded to address the public, Shah has come forward regarding details of her private data breach. Blaming Sandal Khattak and Ayesha Naz as the focal persons behind the act Shah is now proceeding with legal action against the two. According to her, both of the girls have access to Hareem’s phone and they are the ones who have leaked the obscene videos.

She further added that she also knew Ayesha was behind the act and she had filed a complaint against her in the FIA as well.

While talking about the videos, Shah noted that she feels no remorse as she had no contact with any third person besides her husband.

This is not the first time that social media star is at the center of a controversy. Previously, she has made headlines for chilling out in the Prime Minister’s office as well as taking selfies with political figures. Why Is TikTok Asking Women To Avoid Wearing Jaw Clips In The Car?

A PSA is now trending on TikTok with the potential of saving lives with each view the video gets. If you’re a claw clip girlie, do not drive with it in your hair. Natalie Kate, a TikTok user and ultrasound student, posted the video, which gained over 3.7 million views, 4,500 likes, and around 3,500 comments – many of which thanked her for revealing this little-known risk. Here have a look at the video.

Natalie, who is doing her ultrasound clinical, claims that a doctor forewarned her not to use claw clips when using machinery or riding in vehicles. “They’ve seen girls who’ve gotten in car accidents with the clips impaled into their skull,” she explained. “It can be really fatal and really scary.”

Natalie has vowed never again to use claw clips in the car after hearing this suggestion, and to prove it, she later produced a follow-up video showing what she does in its place.

This follow-up video received around 150,000 likes and millions of views, indicating that it connected with TikTokers just as much as the original. Responses poured in, expressing gratitude to Natalie and disbelief at the revelation. One user commented, “New fear unlocked”.  “I’m on a blood thinner and would probably die pretty quickly if this happened. Thanks for possibly saving my life!” Someone else made a comment. Others related their own frightening encounters with claw clips in automobiles. “I got into a crash while wearing a claw clip and ended up with serious pain and bruising. This is smart,” one user wrote.

Some viewers only expressed gratitude to Natalie for her advice. The headrest, which is intended to protect the neck in rear-end collisions, is one of the most underutilized safety measures in cars, according to specialists in vehicle safety. The experts advise leaving no more than 3 to 4 inches between the back of your neck and the headrest in order to improve the efficiency of your headrest.

Given the resurgence of claw clips, it would not be long before the dangers of hair ornaments are mentioned in automobile safety experts’ warnings. What do you think about this? Let us know in the comments below.

Realme GT3 Combines Innovative Charging Technology With Battery Longevity

In Lahore, Pakistan on March 6, 2023, during the conclusion of the 2023 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, realme provided information on their recently released realme GT3, which has the quickest charging capacity in the world at 240W. In a press conference, Chase Xu, vice president of realme and president of realme global marketing, and Mark Wesley, product communications manager for realme global, went into detail about the cutting-edge technology that sets the realme GT3 distinct.

Highlighting the essence of the realme GT Series, Chase said that it commercializes innovation by bringing groundbreaking technology to the consumers. “Throughout the product timeline of realme’s GT Series, there has always been a leap in design, performance, and technology – which is why consumers have come to expect it as a trendsetting trailblazer. With each new addition in the realme GT Series, we aim to step into a new dimension of leading the industry with our technology, going from popularizer to tech-leader.”

The newly launched realme GT3 sets a standard in the industry by minimizing battery charging duration. In under 10 minutes, the battery charges to 100% making it the world’s fastest charging technology to date. On the safety question, Mark pointed out: realme GT3 has the industry-leading fast charge certification––the TÜV Rheinland Safe Fast-Charge System Certification. That means that even at 240W, our fast-charge solution is even more reliable than other fast-charging solutions out there, with more rigorous testing for a more comprehensive testing standard you can count on, allowing you to experience the thrill of fast charging without worrying about safety issues.”

Mark also emphasized realme GT3’s AI Smart Charging Technology. Realme GT3 provides the charging technology that best knows consumers, with intelligent scene identification and battery health protection. It senses your surroundings and adjusts the charging as necessary. For instance, in an airport, you’ll receive the quickest charge, going from 0 to 100% in less than 10 minutes. When you charge your phone at night, it keeps 80% of its charge while you sleep and boosts it to 100% before you get up. The battery maintains 80% of its charge while you’re traveling and boosts it to 100% just before you reach your destination. With these features, the battery’s health will remain nearly pristine even after a year of typical use.

The realme GT3 can even modify its charge in harsh environments to provide safe cold-weather charging down to -20 degrees Celsius, the highest standard in the sector. Compared to other smartphones, which lose their charging ability at temperatures between 0 and -5 degrees Celsius, this is noticeably more dependable. The allocated charging power awakens the CPU and warms up the entire device in extremely cold settings to enable fast charging without endangering the battery due to low temperatures.

The GT Number Pro Series, a new combination of the firm’s GT Series and Number Series, may be launched in the future, offering the best technology the sector has ever seen. As a last note, realme hinted that the company is considering when to launch the realme GT3 in Pakistan.

Toblerone Considers Dropping Its Famous Swiss Mountain Logo

The Toblerone logo, featuring a stylized image of the Matterhorn mountain in the Swiss Alps, is an iconic part of the brand’s identity and has been used since the chocolate bar was first created in 1908. It is recognized and loved by consumers all around the world.

Many brands often update their logos or packaging over time to keep up with changing consumer preferences and design trends, so Toblerone may be considering updating its logo shortly.

According to the details, the US parent company Mondelez International Inc. which owns the chocolate brand is all set to move Toblerone’s production to Slovakia. With the change in its production location, the legal definition of the brand will end up changing. This means it might not fulfill the criteria of ‘Swissness’ as reported by Aargauer Zeitung, a Swiss media outlet that broke the news on Friday.

What Is the ‘Swissness’ Of A Product?

In 2017, legislation was passed to protect the “Swissness” of food items. According to the law, any food item that is marked ‘made in Switzerland’ must be able to source 80% of its raw ingredients from the country.

Meanwhile, those items which include milk and dairy if labeled “made in Switzerland” must source 100% of their raw materials from the country.  However, there are exceptions for certain raw materials that are not produced in the country including cocoa, most of which comes from Africa.

Why Swiss Mountains Are Being Removed?

While the law specifically applies to the products labeled according to their manufacturing materials, the same law applies to the location of the production process. If the production of any food items is being halted in Switzerland, it has to drop the symbols that indicate the geographical territory.

According to Livia Kolmitz, a Mondelez spokeswoman,

Lipton Vs Tapal: The ‘Danedar’ Debate Comes To An End

You might have heard the slogan ‘Tapal Danedar’ on multiple occasions. The iconic tagline has been incorporated into Tapal’s marketing ever since the brand came out decades ago. However, in recent news, Lipton has launched its version of the danedar tea and people are calling them out for copying Tapal. However, the backlash is certainly not needed.

Is Danedar A Trademark?

After hearing it for years in the brand’s marketing campaign, one might think that the word danedar is a trademark owned by Tapal. While Lipton recently came out with their version of the danedar tea, it seems like jumping on the bandwagon and blatantly copying something in the name of innovation. The debate, however, has now settled down as the details about the danedar tea emerge online.

According to users, danedar is a type of tea that is known to be granulated and has nothing to do with a brand’s marketing. Henceforth, if Lipton has added the danedar to their portfolio it simply means that they are adding a new version of tea.
