The schedule and the whole rules and regulations for additional vaccines and booster shots have been released by the government in a report. The report details eligibility criteria, administration of the doses and other technical guidelines! Here’s all you need to know:

What Is The Context?

Many citizens get the vaccines their country was providing while many countries demand that another brand of vaccine’s evidence be shown. In this case, Pakistan has started providing additional doses of vaccines. Moreover, as booster shots’ need increases due to Omicron, the country is in the process of protecting its citizens.

Who Is Eligible?

International travellers of age 12 and above can be eligible for additional doses if the country they are travelling to requires another vaccine in the following conditions:

If they are travelling for work
If they are a student
They are a resident of the said country
People performing for Hajj/Umrah
Workforce
Tourists

The Vaccine Administration Cardinals

The additional vaccine will be administered at all public sector health facilities only, not at any private. Moreover, booster shots will only be administered at the dedicated CVCs created in all the provinces for them. It will cost Rs.1270 per dose and the amount will be paid to NBP as stipulated by the centre.

Procedure for Booster Dose

First, the money will be deposited. Then you will be required to take the deposit slip to a CVC centre and show them with documents that prove your eligibility. The dose will then be administered to you. The age-appropriate vaccine will be given to the person then and documents will be verified. Additionally, records will be maintained on NIMS.

The certificate can be obtained just like the certificate for previous doses was received!

Booster Dose CVCs

A total of 21 dedicated CVCs will be established in 17 major cities across Pakistan. Other COVID-19 vaccines will be administered in these CVCs also. Here is the information on those CVCs:

Before you get the vaccine, your record will be checked on the NIMS Vaccinator account. The “administer booster shot” will only be available on vaccinated accounts. Thereafter, your booster shot or additional vaccine will be administered to you.

This year, we all have come across food experiments that have either shocked or surprised us, and sometimes, both. With the food experimentation going out of hand, we have seen combinations like Oreo pakodas, chocolate Maggi, Kacha mango drinks, and whatnot. Adding to the list of bizarre food combinations, before this year ends, we came across samosa gulab jamun. Yes, you read that right! As weird as a samosa gulab jamun sounds, it indeed is a thing that has caught the attention of many and has left the internet in splits.

Although a gulab jamun samosa might seem peculiar, the concept of sweet samosa is not new. Previously, netizens have come across chocolate and Oreo ice-cream samosas.

Without there being competition, no industry could strive to improve itself. If there were no competition, the brand would not innovate because the public would have to buy whatever they sell. To make sure the auto industry of Pakistan continues to innovate, they decided to release and introduce newer brands in the country. If their examples were tackled, then each brand would be striving for the top spot. Just like that, one of the brands is Changan. It appeared a while back and has established itself in the country quite well. No matter what innovation they perform, it is considered quite modern.

Just a while back, we came to know that a Changan SUV was on its way to Pakistan. We even had multiple sources report it being spotted as a unit to be built here. That vehicle was the Oshan X7 Plus. From the specifications that were revealed, it was said to be a Suv that could stand up alongside competitors like Fortuner and Sorento. Now, new images of the vehicle have leaked, proving further that it is headed to Pakistan, for sure!

Changan Moving Up

The Changan Oshan X7 Plus is available abroad in a 5 seater capacity. However, it has been told that Pakistan might get the 7 seater option as well. This would make it the first vehicle to be reaching the dual option, depending on what the user wants. Additionally, the X7 Plus is going to have a 1.5 Turbocharged engine with tremendous capabilities. No matter where you take it, whatever terrain it is, this vehicle will be able to handle it. That is not all that is impressive about it. It has also been claimed that the fuel average of the vehicle is going to be higher.

The fuel average is expected to be quite as high as 14 kilometers to the liter. That is highly impressive for a Suv since this is an average that is seen in sedans. Changan is breaking quite a lot of barriers with this release. We are still not sure about the price of the vehicle but we shall update you when we come across it. As far as the expected launch date is concerned, we can inform you that it will be somewhere in the early 2022 area.

With this release, it would be confirmed that Changan has become a part of the Suv race. This vehicle type has become quite popular in Pakistan and a lot of brands are running to improve their versions of it. We hope to see the Oshan X7 Plus gain popularity as it hits the streets. People want to buy vehicles that do not compromise on their quality.

Education is quite essential for every person to be exposed to. Without it, people might find themselves robbed of quite a useful skill in life. When we do a master’s degree, it is usually done to gain a better perception of a given field as well as establish networks in a professional world. Among the many areas of study in a Masters’s degree, is Happiness. Yes, the concept that we know and love, has a field of study available.

It is a specialization, within Master’s, that has just arrived in Pakistan. According to sources, the University of Health Sciences (Lahore) has taken the decision to initiate this program. There is a lot that is aimed at establishing this field but learning about happiness and integrating it into everyday tasks is something that can be taught here. It is a widely recognized degree that is now available in Pakistan and people can opt for it if they wish to use it as a tool for their life later on.

Master’s Degree In Happiness

While it may feel a bit unconventional, it is certainly not unheard of. Happiness is a concept about which not everyone knows everything. It extends far beyond just feeling happy at certain events, rather than taking it as a principle of life. Apart from this, the faculty at the university also comprises health instructors as well as renowned psychologists. There is a reason that this field has been created and it means that the demand for it is going to go up.

There may be people who don’t consider this as worth their time but one thing must be made clear. It is that no form of knowledge gaining is a waste of time. No area of education, no field of it, can be regarded as a wasteful area because everything is relevant in one case or another.

The area of psychology may not be as relevant to an industrial engineer but to a student wanting to pursue psychology, it is an excellent field. Relevancy is important to understand when looking at anything. This is also why we can never disregard anyone’s understanding of something. That said, let us see how this field extends in Pakistan. For now, it is only in one campus of UHS but it is expected to enter other campuses soon as well.

TECNO HIOS FANS Cafe was successfully held in Lahore on Sunday with dozens of young fans, well-known mentors, industry pacesetters, and tech developers. The event was held to announce and celebrate the latest HiOS 8.0 Update in the latest Camon 18 Series.

The event was filled with fun activities. The session started with a training session by the national trainer, Arsalan Zahid, where an Introduction of HiOS Update, Utilization, and Functions were explained in detail. The participants were thoroughly communicated about the usage and importance of these new updates. Zahid said,

After that, a KOL Briefing on HiOS Updates and Experience was also conducted by one of the top Tech YouTubers – Nouman from Tech Hoz. He explained how HiOS updates will be useful for video makers, Vlogger, YouTubers, etc. These sessions followed an engaging Q&A session and distribution of Gifts among participants.
