Calling all lovers of foldable smartphones! The tech world is churning with the latest of leaks once again and this time its all about the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6! Mark your calendars for July 10th, because that’s when Samsung is expected to officially unveil its latest foldable marvel. But for those who are impatient and can’t wait, we’ve got you covered! Let’s have a glimpse of what the Z Flip 6 may hold according to the latest leaks!
Leaked Images of The Z Flip Blowing Up The Internet!
Renowned tech leaker Mr. Evan Blass has recently shared a treasure trove of images that appear to be straight out of Samsung’s marketing materials for the Z Flip 6. These images showcase the phone in various colors, giving us a good idea of its potential design. While a radical design overhaul doesn’t seem to be on the cards, there might be some subtle tweaks compared to its predecessor, the Z Flip 5.
The size of the cover screen is one element that has caused considerable discussion. There have been rumors that the Z Flip 5’s screen size may increase to 3.9 inches from its current 3.4 inches. The cover screen’s dimensions, meanwhile, appear to be mostly unaltered based on the leaked photos. Samsung may have made a calculated decision to concentrate their efforts on internal improvements rather than a major external overhaul.
Expected Feature-Set Of The Upcoming Flip Series
Another leak, this time from Ishan Agarwal (another well-respected tech leaker), sheds light on the potential specifications of the Z Flip 6. While Samsung remains tight-lipped until the official launch, Agarwal’s information aligns with previous leaks, painting a clearer picture of the Z Flip 6’s potential muscle.
Here’s what the leaks suggest about the Z Flip 6’s internal hardware:
Processor: The Z Flip 6 is expected to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. This translates to smoother performance for demanding tasks, multitasking, and running graphics-intensive games.
RAM: Another potential bump is in the RAM department. The Z Flip 6 might boast a generous 12GB of RAM, compared to the 8GB of its predecessor. This would enhance multitasking capabilities and ensure a lag-free user experience.
Battery: Battery life has been a concern for some foldable phone users. The leaks suggest that the Z Flip 6 might come equipped with a 4,000mAh battery, offering a slight improvement over the Z Flip 5’s 3,700mAh capacity. However, real-world battery life will depend on various factors like usage patterns and screen brightness.
Concluding Remarks
Since foldable phones are still a relatively new technology, Samsung has led the way in innovation. These rumors suggest that the Z Flip 6 is an incremental upgrade with an emphasis on performance enhancements and maybe a longer battery life. Though it’s early to tell if it will change the game, this indicates Samsung’s dedication to improving its foldable technology.

In the dusty, forgotten village of Pinda Esa, a place so small it doesn’t exist on Google Maps, lives Mr. Yaseen. Confined to his bed, a catheter his constant companion, Mr. Yaseen stares at a monstrous bill of Rs. 11,300! This isn’t rent, it’s the price for a sliver of comfort in a life ravaged by disability. The culprit? The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) of Pakistan. Let’s have a closer look at the viral video that’s making rounds on social media.
The Heartbreaking Story Involving Unlawful Billing By WAPDA
Mr. Yaseen’s story is a grim reminder of a system that crushes the most vulnerable. Here’s a man who can barely move, dependent on others for daily needs, and the government’s answer to his cries is a bill that could buy him a month’s worth of medication – or groceries, or maybe even a wheelchair.
But Mr. Yaseen isn’t one to keep his voice unheard. His eyes, the only windows to the world he can’t navigate are his only hope it seems. “I’ll sell my eyes,” he declared in the video while his voice starts to crack, “my kidneys, even my heart! Just to pay this bill.” It’s a statement that chills you to the bone, a stark reminder of the depths of despair poverty can drive a person to.
But this isn’t the only case of hopelessness being reported across Pakistan. Particularly in rural areas like Jaranwala, near where Pinda Esa lies, the recent surge in electricity bills has become an unbearable burden for the poor. Promises of relief, like the 300 free units boasted by politicians like Maryam Nawaz and Bilawal Bhutto, ring hollow when faced with such exorbitant charges. They seem like cruel jokes in the face of people like Mr. Yaseen.
The Bleak Reality Of Electricity Billing
This case highlights a situation where electricity has reached an unattainable height, pushing families to the brink of life and death. This isn’t just about one man in a forgotten village. It’s a story that exposes the human cost of a broken system. We need to hold institutions like WAPDA and K-Electric accountable for their pricing structures!
Mr. Yaseen’s situation is a stark reminder that behind every bill lies a human story. We cannot allow people like him to be left behind in the darkness. Let’s raise our voices and demand a brighter future, one where electricity isn’t a privilege, but a basic right for all people living in Pakistan.
Stay tuned for more reality checks like this! This has been your friendly neighborhood citizen Zayaan, signing off.
Pakistan Karachi, 03 July, 2024: Shell Pakistan Limited (SPL) launches Pakistan’s first-ever recycled plastic retail site, Malik Service Station at Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi. This initiative aligns with SPL’s commitment towards sustainability; and promotes circular economy and environmentally friendly practices.
The organization collaborated with Dabeer Hemani and Syed Ali Naqi, cofounders of Concept Loop, and Shell Tameer alumnus to bring this vision to life. The construction of the retail site utilized approximately 6,500 kilograms, or roughly 1.3 million pieces, of end-of-life plastic waste, in plastic infused pavers and concrete blocks using multi layered plastic waste. According to research, a simple plastic bag can take up to 500 years to decompose while a plastic bottle can take around 300 years, leaving behind a threat to nature by being non-biodegradable and toxic. The newly rebuilt retail site represents a significant step towards a more sustainable future.
The initiative demonstrates the potential of recycled materials in building robust infrastructure and emphasizes the importance of sustainability in modern development.
Speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of the site, the Chief Executive and Managing Director of Shell Pakistan Limited, Waqar Siddiqui, stated, “We are incredibly proud to unveil this one-of-its-own-kind retail site.
Innovative solutions such as this need to be tried and tested. The success of the plastic infused road and the recycled plastic site can serve as an inspiration for future infrastructure developments. A ripple effect is what aspire to achieve – inspiring broader adoption of sustainable pra

Owners of the Pixel 6 series should be cautious about performing factory resets on their devices due to a newly surfaced bug. This bug, reported by a growing number of users, can potentially brick your phone, rendering it inoperable.
Reports from the Pixel Community
In recent days, many users have posted on Google’s Pixel Phone help community, reporting that their Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, and Pixel 6a phones became bricked after attempting a factory reset. One thread, which started on June 23, described a user’s device getting stuck on a boot screen with an error message that only allowed it to return to recovery mode. This thread quickly gained traction, with several others sharing similar experiences.
The issue garnered enough attention that Google stepped in to confirm that it is a known bug. However, the company has yet to provide a detailed explanation of the cause or specify which software versions are affected. Notably, one user reported experiencing the problem while on a May build of Android, indicating that the issue is not limited to the latest updates. Additionally, users on the Android Beta subreddit have also reported bricked devices, suggesting that the bug may affect both stable and beta builds.
Lack of a Fix
As of now, Google has not released a fix for this issue. The absence of a solution or clear guidelines on avoiding the problem leaves Pixel 6 series users in a precarious position. Without knowing which software versions or conditions trigger the bug, users are advised to avoid performing factory resets until a fix is available.
Given the severity of the bug, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, and Pixel 6a owners should take precautionary measures. Avoid factory resetting your device until Google issues a resolution. If you encounter problems that you believe necessitate a factory reset, consider reaching out to Google support for guidance before proceeding.
Awaiting Updates
We will continue to monitor this situation closely and provide updates as soon as Google releases more information or a fix for the bug. In the meantime, exercise caution with your Pixel 6 series device to avoid the risk of bricking it.
This critical bug serves as a reminder of the potential risks associated with software updates and device resets. While Google works on a solution, Pixel 6 series users should be extra careful and stay informed through official channels for any new developments.

The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) will soon launch the Wasila Rozgar program to help women gain skills for better-paying jobs. BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid announced this expansion during a media briefing in Lahore, stressing the program’s focus on improving women’s economic prospects in Pakistan.
Wasila Rozgar Program
The Wasila Rozgar program aims to equip women with skills to enhance their employability and secure higher-paying jobs. This initiative is part of BISP’s broader efforts to empower women and support their economic independence. By offering training and skill development, the program bridges the gap between women’s current employment status and better job opportunities.
Khalid noted that BISP currently assists 9.5 million families across Pakistan. She highlighted that the program was conceived by the late Benazir Bhutto during her exile and retains its original name despite attempts by previous governments to rename it. Transparency remains a cornerstone of BISP’s operations. Funds are withdrawn through biometric verification, ensuring payments are distributed with integrity. The system is fully transparent and updated every two years. This process ensures that families who have moved above the poverty line are removed from the program, keeping the focus on those in need.
Addressing Concerns and Expanding Banking Partnerships
During the briefing, Khalid addressed concerns about commission charges. She acknowledged complaints about the payment arrangement with one bank. She also announced plans to partner with six additional banks to provide more options and address these issues. This will ensure beneficiaries face fewer challenges when accessing their funds.
Khalid also clarified that the official message center for the program is 8,171 and no other numbers are associated with BISP, advising beneficiaries to be cautious of potential scams.
Future Prospects and Economic Impact
The Wasila Rozgar program highlights BISP’s efforts to enhance its impact and adapt to the changing needs of its beneficiaries. By focusing on skill development and employment opportunities for women, BISP aims to contribute to the broader economic growth of the country. Empowering women with better job prospects improves their individual livelihoods. Additionally it also positively impacts their families and communities.
BISP’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and empowerment remains strong. The Wasila Rozgar program promises to provide women with the tools they need to succeed in a competitive job market.

As temperatures rise, many homeowners find themselves relying heavily on air conditioning to maintain comfort. However, the increasing cost of electricity makes this an expensive option. Consequently, there is a growing interest in energy-efficient and cost-effective cooling alternativesu. This article highlights some of the best alternatives to air conditioners in Pakistan that combine efficiency with affordability.
Air Coolers
Air coolers, or evaporative coolers, are a popular choice in Pakistan. These devices cool air through the evaporation of water, consuming significantly less electricity compared to air conditioners. Air coolers operate by drawing in warm air from outside, passing it through wet filters, and blowing out cool air. They typically use between 70 to 250 watts per hour, a fraction of what traditional air conditioners consume. To maintain efficiency, it’s important to keep the water tank filled and replace the water regularly.
Exhaust Fans
Exhaust fans are another excellent alternative to air conditioners. These devices help reduce indoor temperatures by expelling hot air from inside the house. Installing exhaust fans in strategic locations, such as windows or walls with unobstructed outdoor access, can enhance their effectiveness. Additionally, placing exhaust fans in kitchens and bathrooms can improve indoor air quality while reducing heat. They are incredibly energy-efficient, using only about 5 to 35 watts per hour.
Window Films
Window films are a cost-effective solution for reducing indoor heat without consuming energy. These films reflect sunlight and heat, keeping indoor spaces cooler naturally. Besides lowering temperatures, window films can enhance privacy and protect furniture from harmful UV rays. Installation is inexpensive, and once applied, they require no additional energy to function, contributing to a reduction in electricity bills.
Insulation
Insulating your home is a long-term solution to maintaining comfortable indoor temperatures. Insulation materials are applied to walls, floors, and ceilings to slow down heat transfer. This barrier not only keeps the heat out during summer but also retains warmth during winter, making it a year-round energy-saving solution. Proper insulation can significantly reduce energy consumption, leading to substantial savings on electricity bills.
Mist Fans
Mist fans are particularly effective in outdoor spaces such as patios, balconies, and gardens. These fans work by dispersing fine water droplets, which evaporate and cool the surrounding air. Mist fans are more affordable and energy-efficient than air conditioning systems, typically using around 200 watts per hour. They provide a refreshing cooling effect, making outdoor activities more enjoyable during hot weather.
Exploring these alternatives to air conditioning can help reduce energy consumption and lower electricity bills without compromising on comfort. Each option offers unique benefits and can be chosen based on specific needs and preferences. By adopting these energy-efficient cooling solutions, homeowners in Pakistan can enjoy a cooler home while contributing to environmental sustainability.

Apple has equipped the AirPods Pro 2 with unrivaled functionality, but it’s easy to get swept up in mainstream features such as active noise cancellation (ANC), Adaptive Transparency, “Hey Siri” voice activation, Personalized Spatial Audio, and Find My integration for locating lost buds. Although these are unquestionably great features, they only scratch the surface of capabilities for Apple’s latest flagship earbuds. Here are some lesser-known features that can enhance your experience with the ubiquitous white earbuds.
1. Create Your Own EQ
Apple’s iOS platform offers plenty of preset EQ options (Settings > Music > EQ) to configure the sound to a particular music style or to boost (or cut) certain frequencies. However, there’s a hidden customization option called Headphone Accommodations that personalizes the sonic output of your AirPods or Beats headphones to your hearing. This feature analyzes your hearing capabilities to create a unique sound profile optimized for you. It can be tuned for a Balanced Tone, or enhanced for Vocal Range or Brightness. To try it out, select Custom Audio Setup (bypass the audio gram option) and complete the hearing test, which takes about 3-4 minutes.
Most wireless earbuds require both buds in place for ANC mode to work; removing one automatically disables the feature. Apple has engineered the AirPods Pro 2 differently, allowing for ANC use with one bud. This means you’ll get some noise neutralization rather than none when using a single earbud.
Settings > Accessibility > Noise Cancellation with One AirPod
3. Add the Batteries Widget to Your Home Screen
This is the most practical solution for checking your AirPods battery life. It will show the power levels for both buds and the MagSafe charging case. To install the Batteries widget from the widget menu, long-press a blank area on the home screen of your iPhone or iPad, then tap the “+” icon at the top left of the display. Scroll down the widget options to find Batteries and drag your preferred widget to your home screen.
Long-press a blank area on the display > Tap the “+” icon on the top left > Select Batteries widget
4. Manage AirPods Controls on a macOS Device
Those running macOS Ventura on their Apple desktop or MacBook should have the AirPods icon located on the top right of the menu bar. If not, check your software and update to the latest version. With the AirPods icon on your desktop, you can activate and customize all your AirPods controls easily.
5. Open This Listening Mode Shortcut
Swipe down on the top right of your iPhone or iPad screen and long-press the AirPods icon on the volume bar. This will open a shortcut to toggle between ANC modes, as well as Spatial Audio. It’s a much quicker process than going through the AirPods menu or Bluetooth settings.
Swipe top right of your iDevice screen > Long-press the AirPods icon on the volume bar > Toggle between ANC modes and Spatial Audio
By utilizing these hidden features, you can enhance battery management, sound quality, and overall usability of your AirPods Pro 2, ensuring you get the most out of your investment. With each iOS update, the list of capabilities continues to grow, so keep exploring to discover new ways to optimize your experienced.

Recently, unverified reports online suggested that Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport was secretly sold for $1.8 billion. These claims quickly spread on social media, causing public concern and skepticism.
PCAA’s Swift Response
The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) moved quickly to dispel these rumors. The PCAA spokesperson categorically refuted the claims, labeling them as baseless. They released an official statement through traditional and social media to address the confusion and affirm that Jinnah International Airport remains under PCAA management.
The PCAA emphasized the importance of relying on credible sources for accurate information. They cautioned the public against spreading unverified claims that could lead to unnecessary confusion and anxiety. The PCAA reiterated that no such sale had taken place and that the airport continues to operate under its jurisdiction.
Government’s Position on Outsourcing Airports
The Pakistani government has been exploring options to sell or outsource state-owned assets, especially those that are financially underperforming, to stabilize the economy. This includes potential plans for outsourcing the management of major airports, including Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport. However, the government has recently deferred these plans.
The deferral responds to requests from international and local bidders asking for more time to conduct thorough due diligence. This delay ensures that any future decisions about outsourcing airport management are made transparently and consider all potential impacts.
Importance of Verified Information
This incident underscores the critical need for the public to seek information from reliable and official sources, especially on sensitive matters like national infrastructure. Unverified posts and rumors can easily gain traction online but can also cause significant public unrest and mislead the population.
While Pakistan continues to evaluate strategies to manage and potentially privatize underperforming state assets, the recent rumors about the sale of Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport have been firmly debunked by the PCAA. The swift response from aviation authorities highlights their commitment to transparency and providing accurate information. As the country navigates its economic challenges, it remains crucial for citizens to rely on verified news sources and avoid spreading unconfirmed reports.
For ongoing updates and official statements, the public should follow credible news outlets and the official social media channels of relevant authorities. This approach will help ensure accurate information and prevent unnecessary confusion.

On Tuesday, Meta announced the end of its blanket ban on the word “shaheed,” which means “martyr” in English. This decision follows a year-long review by Meta’s independent oversight board. The review concluded that the company’s previous approach to the word was overly broad.
Criticism and Human Rights Concerns
Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has faced criticism for its handling of content related to the Middle East. A 2021 study, commissioned by Meta, highlighted that the company’s policies had a negative human rights impact on Palestinians and other Arabic-speaking users. These criticisms intensified with the hostilities between Israel and Hamas in October, further scrutinizing Meta’s content moderation practices.
Oversight Board’s Role
The oversight board, funded by Meta but operating independently, initiated its review because “shaheed” was responsible for more content removals than any other word or phrase on Meta’s platforms. The review, completed in March, found that Meta’s rules failed to account for the various meanings of “shaheed.” This oversight led to the removal of content that did not promote violence but was still flagged due to the word’s use.
Meta acknowledged the oversight board’s findings and adjusted its policy. The company stated that its tests showed that removing content only when “shaheed” was paired with other violating content would better capture potentially harmful material without disproportionately silencing users. This change aims to balance the need for safety on the platform with the importance of free expression.
Oversight Board’s Reaction
The oversight board welcomed Meta’s policy update, noting that the previous rules led to the censorship of millions of people across its platforms. The board emphasized that the updated policy would help ensure that content removals are more accurately targeted, reducing unnecessary censorship.
Meta’s decision to lift the ban on the word “shaheed” marks a significant shift in its content moderation strategy. The change comes after recognizing the diverse meanings of the word and the importance of context in content evaluation. By refining its policies, Meta aims to uphold human rights standards and provide a more balanced approach to content moderation on its platforms.
For ongoing updates on Meta’s policies and other tech industry news, stay connected with reliable sources and follow Meta’s official announcements. This approach ensures that users receive accurate information and understand the implications of policy changes on social media platforms

The couple’s love story began in 2015, when Madiha Imam was working on a Bollywood film after completing her film studies. Moji, then an intern in production, caught her attention with his dedication and hard work. Her husband, Moji, four years younger, has been an integral part of her journey.
Initially, Madiha Imam was hesitant to express her feelings. Still, her mother’s advice to focus on her career and not get distracted by crushes made her put the idea on the back burner. However, fate had other plans. Two years later, Moji reached out to Madiha Imam for help with his podcast, and they reconnected as friends. As they spent more time together, their friendship blossomed into something more.
Madiha Imam’s mother played a significant role in their love story, offering guidance and support. After a few meetings, Madiha Imam and Moji realized their feelings for each other were serious, and they decided to take the next step. Moji proposed in a subtle yet romantic way, and Madiha Imam, then 31, knew she had found her partner.

[November 23rd 2023] Pakistani actress Madiha Imam, known for guarding her husband Moji Basar’s details, recently stirred headlines with her first visit to her in-laws’ house in India.
A video clip from the visit sparked controversy as Moji’s uncle was heard praising Madiha for bringing luck to the family, citing the auspiciousness of a rainy day during a bride’s inaugural visit.
The controversy heightened due to Moji’s uncle referencing Hindu customs, specifically mentioning Pooja, which clashes with Islamic beliefs.
This revelation contradicted earlier denials from the Muslim actress regarding rumours about her husband’s Indian origin or involvement in the filmmaking industry.
In a statement on May 4th, Madiha Imam had clarified that she and Moji Basar were friends long before their marriage, their strong bond evolving into a romantic relationship. Their strong friendship eventually blossomed into a romantic relationship.
The recent cultural clash during her visit to the in-laws has now raised questions about the family dynamics and spurred speculation about the interfaith aspects within Madiha and Moji’s relationship.
Some gave the couple the benefit of doubt that the groom must have converted to Islam.

In the wake of Pakistan’s disappointing performance in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) decided to bring back the Yo-Yo test to improve player fitness. Despite being strong contenders, Pakistan bowed out at the group stage after humiliating losses to the USA and India. Wins against Ireland and Canada were not enough to advance.
Fitness Under the Microscope
Pakistan’s fitness standards have become a hot topic after they crashed out of the mega-event. Former team director Mohammad Hafeez revealed that previous management, including Mickey Arthur and Grant Bradburn, had decided to exclude fitness tests.
However, the current Director of Domestic Cricket, Khurram Niazi, has approved a plan to reintroduce the Yo-Yo test to ensure players maintain high fitness levels. The PCB will conduct fitness tests across Pakistan in two phases. Starting July 11, tests will be conducted at the district level, followed by the regional level.
Players who fail these tests will be dropped not only from the national team but also from regional teams. Niazi has made it mandatory for all players, including centrally-contracted ones, to pass the fitness test to be eligible for selection.
A Look at the Yo-Yo Test
The Yo-Yo test is a variation of the Beep test, designed to evaluate aerobic fitness by requiring players to run between two sets of cones placed 20 meters apart, the same distance as a cricket pitch.
When a beep sounds, players must run to the opposite cone and reach it before the next beep. They then return to the starting cone before the subsequent beep. Completing this back-and-forth trip counts as one shuttle.
Players get a seven-second rest period between each shuttle. As they progress through the levels, the time allowed to complete each shuttle decreases, and the number of shuttles per level increases, requiring faster running speeds.
The test starts at level 5 with one shuttle, and each subsequent level, such as level 11, includes additional shuttles, becoming more demanding. The highest level of the test is 23. The test concludes when a player fails to meet the beep timing twice. Results are recorded through a software system.
Is Yo-Yo Test Enough To Improve Fitness?
While the Yo-Yo test is a good starting point for assessing aerobic endurance, the PCB should also implement comprehensive strength and weight training programs. These programs are essential for increasing muscle mass and overall fitness, which can enhance power-hitting and on-field performance.
Incorporating strength training can help players develop the explosiveness needed for modern cricket and reduce injury risks. As Pakistan looks to rebuild after the T20 World Cup disappointment, improving fitness standards will be crucial.
The reintroduction of the Yo-Yo test is a step in the right direction, but a holistic approach to fitness will be necessary to prepare players for the demands of international cricket.

Calling all admirers of smartphone photography and electronics in Pakistan! Get ready for a significant revolution in the smartphone industry. For its next flagship, the iPhone 16, Apple, the unchallenged king of high-end phone cameras, is apparently dumping its longtime partner, Sony! Let’s delve into the details of this surprising reveal.
A Historic Shift: Apple Switches Sony For Samsung!
For years, Sony has been the sole supplier of camera image sensors (CIS) for iPhones. These tiny powerhouses serve as the “eyes” of your phone, capturing light and turning it into digital images. Sony’s sensors are renowned for their exceptional quality, contributing significantly to the iPhone’s reputation for capturing stunning photos and videos.
But here’s the twist: According to industry reports, Apple has begun final quality testing on CIS models from Samsung for the iPhone 16. This is a monumental shift, considering the fierce rivalry between these tech giants. So, what’s prompting Apple to break its long-standing partnership with Sony?
Delays and New Tech: The Reason Behind the Switch
Apparently, delays from Sony in supplying sensors for the iPhone 15 caused significant headaches for Apple. These delays reportedly impacted the launch schedule of the phone, a crucial factor in the competitive smartphone market. Additionally, the iPhone 16 is rumored to boast some groundbreaking camera technology that requires a new type of CIS. Sony might not have been able to deliver on this new tech in time, pushing Apple towards Samsung.
What Could This Potentially Mean For Apple?
This shift towards Samsung sensors could have a two-pronged effect on Apple iPhone users:
Innovation Boost: Samsung is a powerhouse in mobile camera technology, and their sensors consistently rank among the best. This partnership could potentially lead to even better camera performance on the iPhone 16, allowing Apple users to capture even more breathtaking photos and videos.
Price Fluctuations: There’s a chance that the switch to Samsung could influence the pricing of the iPhone 16 around the globe even in Pakistan! While the exact impact is unclear, it’s a possibility to consider.
Compatibility and Optimization: Apple has always meticulously optimized its software to work seamlessly with Sony sensors. Integrating Samsung sensors could introduce initial compatibility challenges, potentially impacting camera performance at launch.
Learning Curve for Users: Apple iPhone users accustomed to Sony’s camera interface might require some time to adjust to any potential changes introduced by Samsung sensors.
Conclusion
It’s important to remember that these are just reports, and Apple hasn’t officially confirmed the switch. However, the rumors highlight the ever-evolving landscape of mobile technology. Apple users should stay tuned for further developments as we approach the expected launch of the iPhone 16 later this year!

The T20 World Cup 2024 wrapped up at the Kensington Oval in Barbados with India clinching the title by defeating South Africa. This was India’s second T20 World Cup win, their first since MS Dhoni led them to glory in 2007.
But as with any tournament, there were players who did not quite live up to the hype. Here is the Flop XI, featuring players who had a disappointing T20 World Cup 2024 campaign.
Reeza Hendricks
Expectations were high for Reeza Hendricks, especially with South Africa reaching the final. However, the right-handed batter couldn’t produce any memorable innings and remained a weak link in the Proteas line-up throughout the tournament. In nine matches, he scored only 113 runs at an average of 14.12 and a strike rate of 87.59. In the final, he managed just four runs.
Mohammad Rizwan (WK)
Mohammad Rizwan, one of the top-rated T20I players, failed to shine when it mattered most for Pakistan, as a result, the Green Shirts crashed out from the Group stage. He scored 110 runs in four innings, averaging 36.66 with a strike rate of 90.90. His critical dismissal against India, where he scored 31 runs, cost Pakistan dearly in a match they could have won.
Mitchell Marsh (C)
Australia’s Mitchell Marsh came into the World Cup after an injury in the IPL 2024. He couldn’t bowl until the Super 8s and had a lacklustre performance with the bat, scoring 125 runs in seven innings. His contributions of 12 and 37 in the crucial matches against Afghanistan and India were not enough.
Kane Williamson
Kane Williamson, a key member of cricket’s ‘Fab Four’, had a disastrous tournament as he led New Zealand in his last T20 World Cup as captain. Unfortunately, the Black Caps exited in the group stage after losses to Afghanistan and the West Indies. Williamson managed only 28 runs in three innings, sealing his side’s early exit.
Shivam Dube
Shivam Dube was considered the only weak link in the dominant Indian side and his place was in question throughout the tournament as he was preferred over fan-favourite Rinku Singh. Despite criticism, the team management showed faith in Dube after a great IPL in 2024 and played him in all games. However, the all-rounder couldn’t replicate his IPL form, scoring only 133 runs in eight innings and failing to make a significant impact for India.
Shadab Khan
Shadab Khan, one of Pakistan’s most senior players, had a forgettable tournament. With the bat, he scored 44 runs in three innings, with his highest score being 40 against the USA. He failed to pick up any wickets in the three matches he bowled.
Liam Livingstone
Liam Livingstone was expected to deliver both with the bat and ball for England. However, he managed just 72 runs in four innings and picked up only three wickets. His underwhelming performance in the semi-final against India, where he scored just 11 runs, was a critical blow for England.
Sam Curran
Sam Curran, the Player of the Match in the 2022 T20 World Cup final, had high expectations on his shoulders. Yet, in five matches, he picked up only three wickets, two against South Africa and one against India in the semi-final, failing to make a significant impact.
Mitchell Santner
Despite favourable conditions for spinners in the West Indies, Mitchell Santner struggled and managed only four wickets in four games. Although he maintained a good economy rate (5.56), he couldn’t take enough wickets to support his team. He went wicketless against Afghanistan and picked up just one against the West Indies.
Matheesha Pathirana
Matheesha Pathirana had a heavy responsibility on his shoulders to lead his side’s pace attack in the T20 World Cup after a brilliant IPL season. The 21-year-old is known for his prowess in shorter formats, however, he failed to replicate his IPL success in the World Cup. In three matches, he took only three wickets, with two against the Netherlands, and went wicketless against South Africa.
Mitchell Starc
Mitchell Starc, known for his ferocious pace bowling and his top-notch performances in ICC tournaments, had a disappointing run in the T20 World Cup. He managed to take only five wickets in five matches. But the more disappointing factor is his economy rate, which is 8.55. He was also smashed for 29 runs in an over by Indian captain Rohit Sharma in the Super 8 match.
These players, despite their reputations and past performances, couldn’t deliver when it mattered most in the T20 World Cup 2024. The cricket world will be watching closely to see how they bounce back in future tournaments.

A recent flight from Jeddah to Lahore ended up revealing too much truth to us. A passenger, a hero we should say, despite the warning signs against recording, photographed the grotesque condition in which the plane was. The passenger showed what seemed to be a plane that had not been cleaned in ages. The leather on the seats was dirty, dry glue, and the TV sets were remote-controlled.
PIA Passenger Exposed Unacceptable Uncleanliness And Maintenance
The photos were uploaded in the post uploaded recently on a Facebook group named, Voice of Customers. The photos showed worn-out seats, with stains all over them.A statement was shared that truly showed just how appalled the customer was along with the photos.
The caption read, “Last night I traveled from Jeddah to Lahore in Pakistan International Airline pk760. Look at the condition of their seats. They are not ashamed to clean the plane. Such a dirty environment, such dirty seats. Can we question? Is this the level of Pakistanis? At the time of take-off and landing, there was a sound in the plane as if traveling in a rickshaw.”
It is quite disturbing to learn that these are the conditions of PIA. Despite being privatized. The utter shock and surprise are evident in the words of the unfortunate passenger who had traveled in such horrid conditions.
Unsettling Sounds During The Flight
Moreover, what’s even more unfortunate to learn is that the plane made horrid whirring sounds before taking off, and while landing. The customer shared it was as if riding in local public transport instead of a plane, with each ticket above a lakh.
We hope that the revelation is an awakening call for PIA and that they take some serious action against this problem. However, if they fail to, the airline will likely be forced to shut down.
