Still, many users were unable to fix it through all of the methods listed above.

One way of troubleshooting this issue is on the phone, and according to multiple threads on tech-forums, it has resolved this bug for many users. It is to be noticed that Apple has been collecting data on its users for quite some time. Considering that the Fitness app requires your heart-rate, steps, and distance traveled, it can track you in real-time.

Here is how the issue can be resolved by following the steps listed below; 

  • Open the updated version of the Health app on your iPhone.
  • Click on the icon of your profile, the thumbnail at the top.
  • Tap on Health Details.
  • Check the “Date of Birth” field. If blank, enter your date of birth.
  • Now, open the Fitness app on your phone.
  • Check the Trends to see if they appear again.

The following method has proved to have resolved this issue for iPhone and Apple Watch users who were facing this issue. It is common for all smartphone users to face certain minor bugs after they update their OS. However, they are eradicated and resolved shortly after the users identify them. It has not even been a week since this year has started, and we have already started to hear about the new smartphones that are to be released this year. One of the most anticipated phones of the year includes the Samsung S21 range, the flagship smartphone range by Samsung, and is the most widely used one.

What Do The New Leaks Say?

As per the new leaks published by Evan Blass on Voice.com, many features of the Samsung Galaxy S21 range have been finalized and will be the key selling point.

According to the leaks, both Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21+ will have the same camera configurations, whereas the Samsung S21 Ultra will have upgraded features.

The camera designs hint towards the fact that the new Samsung Galaxy S21 range will most probably have multiple camera lenses, something that we have seen happening too often in smartphones for the past few years.

According to other reports, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will also have a stylus, which will make it easier for creatives and smartphone enthusiasts who prefer a stylus to opt for the Ultra version, which is expected to have a slightly larger screen.

Last year, several sources claimed that Samsung intends to end its Galaxy Note range, a flagship smartphone range that featured a stylus pen and was widely popular amongst the public for it. There were also reports about Samsung working on a new feature and technology expected to give Apple, its biggest competitor, tough competition.

Even though the official details about the phones are yet to be revealed by Samsung, many leaks have proved to be true in the past. It is normal for details to get leaked on the internet before a smartphone officially releases. Now, whether these leaks and infographics will be featured in the next phones or not can only be confirmed once Samsung finally makes it official on the phones’ release.

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) is always looking to provide as many opportunities as they can to the Pakistani students. Now, these opportunities’ recipients can be regular students who can pay for their education, and they can also be looking for scholarships to fund their education. The options can range from what the local government offers to other countries’ governments offering to sponsor Pakistani candidates.

This time around, the opportunity is for Pakistani researchers and scholars. It is called HEC Research Awards 2021, and it implores the candidates to submit the applications for it. The aim here is to ensure that when someone puts in the effort, it gets recognized. So if you want to be recognized, how about enlisting in the competition?

Another incentive to do so is the certificate and the cash prize aside from contributing to impactful publications.

Details of How To Apply

If this has convinced you to apply, well, you are right on time because the applications were to be accepted after 5th January 2021. You can apply through the e-portal of HEC. Remember, the applications will stay open until 1st February 2021. The time will be until 11:59 PM Pakistan Standard Time.

The submission can be in various disciplines; the domains, however, will be limited to 3. So, for instance, the domains are Social Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Life Sciences. And within that, the disciplines can range from Arts and Humanities, Law, Education, and Public Policy to Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Biological Sciences, and even Agriculture. The recipients of the award will, of course, be judged according to the three domains mentioned above.

A little about the awards

The categories of awards are Best Researcher, Best Young Researcher, and Best Publication. The first two categories will be awarded PKR 500,000, while the third category will get PKR 1,000,000. It is important to note that all those who have been caught plagiarising researches and have been blacklisted by the HEC cannot apply.

Best Researcher award is sort of a lifetime award. The recipient must have contributed to the intellectual and social development through his/her words. Best Young Researcher Award, however, puts a limitation. It is awarded to candidates under 40. The candidate also has to show future potential in doing researches. The publication that has made a lasting impact on future research is the most eligible to win in this category.

Cricketers Briefed On COVID-19 Protocols For South Africa Series

Christchurch, 5 January 2021: The Pakistan Shaheens’ squad members were briefed about the Covid-19 protocols, prepared by the PCB’s Medical Advisory Committee, for the home series against South Africa before their departure from New Zealand.

The players and support staff will undergo two Covid-19 tests on 13 and 16 January at their residence before the third test on 19 January, which will be conducted upon arriving at the center station to join the squad.

The squad members have been instructed to cover their faces with masks on flight and limit their physical contact upon arrival in Pakistan.

Dr. Sohail Saleem, Director Medical and Sports Sciences and the chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee, delivered the educational lecture to the Shaheens’ players and he will also brief the men’s national team about the protocols at the conclusion of the Christchurch Test.

The age of electric cars has begun. It began the moment Elon Musk decided to release a Model S Tesla. It is definitely an era where we can see that combustion engines are at the start of their end. In Elon Musk’s biography ‘Insane Mode’, the writer explores upon the time he spent at Tesla as well as Elon’s life. Tesla has seen one of the highest boosts in the year 2020. It’s production has gone up so high, it made Elon the second richest person in the world.

Electric car technology is slowly taking over the entire era and there may come a time when combustion is obsolete. However, due to heavy industrial uses for Gasoline, it may take some time. You may have heard of Tesla’s Cybertruck when it was released. Well, Elon has just been given a Challenge!

A New Era:

When the Cybertruck was revealed, people were in a state of shock and awe when they saw it. When the capabilities were tested and the explained, it only further added to the praise of the vehicle. It was pitted against a Ford Raptor to see if it could pull it. From the footage seen, it had some impressive results.

Recently, the founder of Comma.ai had something to state to Elon. He said that, while he believes Elon can achieve level 5 autonomy in vehicles soon, it will not be within a year. Level 5 Autonomy is when the vehicle can navigate completely on its own without any interference from the driver, on any terrain!

Challenge Accepted?

The Second Challenge and the one to mention here, was brought forward on twitter, by Jim Glickenhaus. He is the owner of Scrudera Cameron Glickenhaus. He stated that, his hydrogen powered boot, can beat the Cybertruck on the Baja 1000 in 2023. The Baja 1000 is considered as one of the most endurance testing tracks ever. It is like the 24 hour LeMans

Elon Has not yet responded to either of the challenges. Though, he did state to the former one that autonomy is expected to hit a new level soon. It can be quite difficult to actually reach that level, no? It would be quite interesting to see a race between the Cybertruck and the hydrogen powered Boot. This challenge is alos on reference to Elon calling Hydrogen fuel cell technology ‘Ming Boggling Stupid’.

The Age Of Electric:

We have still yet to see how Elon decides to respond to these challenges. The gauntlets have been thrown and there is an option to pick them up. If he doesn’t respond with anything, that means he opens himself up for more challenges in the future. Maybe these challenges are a way to see Tesla, or Elon, putting their money where their mouth is.

We hope to see some interesting results if the Elon does decide to respond to the challenges on twitter. Would it not be a spectacle to see the two vehicles take it out in the 2023 Baja 1000? We, regardless, wish them both the best of luck.

Hasan Ali’s Unbeaten Century Created History In Quaid-e-Azam Trophy

The top tier tournament of Pakistan domestic cricket, Quaid-e-Azam Trophy First XI made history when the final of season 2020/21 between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and Central Punjab (CP) ended in a draw with both teams being declared the joint winners.

The match that was in favor of KPK on the final day, the pacer Hasan Ali representing CP took it away from KPK with his unbeaten 106 runs off 61 balls. 

CP began their inning on 140-2 on the final day requiring 216 runs to win. Usman Salahuddin (51) and Mohammad Saad (27) began the innings for CP but soon both returned to the pavilion after scoring 67 and 27 runs respectively.

The CP team soon came down from 140-2 to 202-7, with Saad Naseem (5), Qasim Akram (30), Ali Shaan (11), and Bilawal Iqbal (7) losing their wickets. 

Then came in Hassan Ali to support his batting line-up and struck 106 runs off 61 balls with the help of 10 fours and seven sixes. He was able to turn the game around and took it from KPK to end it in a draw on the fifth day. Other than Ali, Ahmed Safi scored 35 and Waqas Maqsood scored four runs. 

KPK was able to restrict the team on 355 in 117.3 with the help of Sajid Khan taking four, Arshan Iqbal taking three, Ifranullah Shah took two and Sameen Gul took one wicket to end the match in a draw. 

Earlier, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa scored 300 in their first innings and Central Punjab declared their first innings at 257 for nine. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa scored 312 in their second innings to help Central Punjab win. Waqas Maqsood of Central Punjab bowled out seven players in the match and Irfanullah Shah of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa guided six players to the pavilion.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Kamran Ghulam was named the best batsman of the season 21-20, Sajid Khan was named the best bowler of the tournament. Rehan Afridi was named the best wicket-keeper. Hasan Ali was declared player of the final and player of the tournament.

Allegedly, they may have one feature that beats Apple to the punch!

The Neverending War:

5 Desserts To Make With Potato Chips

Desserts make life sweet, literally. So we go crazy over cookies, cakes, brownies, and whatnot. What is the other constant in your life, you know, other than desserts? Potato chips, hands down. So potato chips make a good snack, and to cure your sweet craving, you can have dessert. But what if I were to tell you that you can have both at the same time?

Intriguing, right?

So let’s look at five desserts that can be made with potato chips.

1. Potato Chip Toffee

So first off, we have potato chips toffee. To make this, you need some Lays Wavy potato chips. Now spread the chips in a pan. Ensure that the chips make a whole layer of it. Alongside that, make toffee in a separate saucepan. Now pour the melted toffee mixture over the layer of chips. Put the pan in the oven. After some time, take it out and add chocolate chips to it. Put it back in the oven. When you take it out again, smooth out the chocolate. Sprinkle the crushed Lays chips on the chocolate.

2. Sweet and Salty Potato Chip Cookies

For this recipe, you have to preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Get cream, butter, white sugar, and brown sugar. To this mixture, add eggs, flour, salt, baking soda, and vanilla. Don’t forget to add potato chips and chocolate chips. Put it all in the fridge for an hour. Now roll them in balls and put them on a tray on which you have spread the non-stick baking sheets. You only need to bake for 11 minutes, et voila, the sweet and salty potato chip cookies are ready to be devoured.

3. Chocolate Covered Potato Chip Blondies

To make blondies, cream the butter and sugar in a bowl until it is all fluffy. You can now add salt, vanilla, and eggs. Bring in the baking powder and flour into the scene. The mixture should be thoroughly mixed. Now spread it all evenly on the oiled pan and put it in the preheated oven (350°F) for at least 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, melt the butter and marshmallows in a large saucepan. Now, shut off the heat and add the potato chips. Stir until fully coated. Now quickly spread it on the cooled blondies. To cover it with chocolate, you need to microwave chocolate for 30 seconds. And then pour the melting on the blondies.

4. Potato Chip Krispy Treats

Take the ruffles and crush them until they are bite-size. After that, melt the butter at medium heat and add marshmallows until it all melts. Now shut off the heat and add the ruffles to it. The best way to go will be to put it into a perfect square. Let it cool off, and then cut it.

According to Blair Silverberg, the CEO of the debt-financing startup Capital, the regulations were introduced to ensure the government can assert supremacy over Jack Ma.

All Those Remedies Are Not A Cure

The claim, however, has been labeled as false by the Association of Korean Medicine. They have reported that there is no scientific evidence to support the claim. Kim Gye-jin, a director at the Association of Korean Medicine, told a news outlet that there is no scientific evidence to support the claim.

The World Health Organization (WHO), moreover, has also said that this remedy has not been medically proven. If there were such effective, inexpensive, and natural cures, then countries would not be scampering for the vaccines as of now. 

As of December 30, 2020, the WHO has also stated on its website: “There is no evidence that current medicine can prevent or cure the disease, while some western, traditional or home remedies may provide comfort and alleviate symptoms of Covid-19.”

What Do We Take Away From This?

From this, we learn again that whatever we see on Facebook must not be trusted. Secondly, we see, as WHO has stated, that officially there is no cure for the virus yet. However, that does not mean that one can not try remedies known to bring one comfort!

Now, this may seem harmless, it is only when the actual tweet is read that one sees the underlying message. Fans have interpreted that as Zaid Ali indirectly saying “she hasn’t really become pretty, she’s just strong!” which made several people unhappy.

New Auto Policy Pakistan 2022-2026: Car Prices To Go Down

The past few years have been remarkable for the Pakistani automotive industry. It used to be an industry dominated by a few manufacturers who had almost no competition amongst themselves and resorted to releasing the same model of their cars every year with no major changes and updates.

The industry had been stagnant for a long time until the Auto Development Policy (ADP) of Pakistan (2016-2021) was introduced and implemented by the government to encourage new competitors to enter the market. In the past few years, we have seen many new entrants in the market including KIA, United, Proton, and many others who have enabled it for customers to choose their vehicles from a range of companies rather than opting for one or two cars that are being seen on the roads of Pakistan since decades.

However, Pakistani consumers have often complained about the massive price-tags on the car which has made it difficult for an average consumer to purchase a brand new car directly from the company and certain sources say that a policy is being worked upon by the government which will resolve this issue for the customers.

What Is To Be Expected From The New Auto-Policy (2022-2026)

Certain news outlets and sources have hinted at a new policy being worked on by the Government of Pakistan which is expected to provide relief to the customers.

According to certain sources at the Ministry of Industry and Production (MoIP), the new Auto Development Policy is working on formulating a strategy to help a middle class Pakistani be able to purchase his own brand new car. The same sources claim that the Government is planning to set a maximum limit of Rs. 10 lacs for all small cars which will enable consumers to get relief of 4-5 lacs as per current price-trends.

It is also being expected that policy-makers are focusing on reducing the dominance created by local manufacturers and for that, they will reduce the duties and taxes on imported cars drastically to increase competition amongst the companies.

When Will The Policy Be Implemented

The current ADP (2016-2021) will end on 30th June 2021 so it is expected that the new ADP will be implemented from 1st July 2021 onwards.

It is too early to expect anything unless there is a formal announcement by the Ministry or a Government Official however the final draft of the policy is expected to be formulated by March 2021.

According To Reports, Israeli Tourists Are Shamefully Stealing Valuables From Dubai Hotels

Diplomatic relations between the United Arab Emirates and Israel were almost non-existent in the past until last year when both countries signed an agreement mediated by the President Of The United States, Donald Trump.

As per the deal, both countries have mutually agreed to begin a new journey and normalize their diplomatic relations which are expected to support the businesses, trade, and tourism of both countries.

The agreement was named the Abraham Accord which was formulated by government officials of both countries with the United States acting as a mediator before it was formally signed in August 2020.

Considering the importance of the United Arab Emirates, not only in the Middle East but in the world, this news came as a major shock especially from its Muslim-majority countries & allies who are against the prosecution and oppression of the Palestinians by the Israeli Government who have had bitter relations and have fought countless wars as a reaction to the brutalities inflicted by the Israeli military forces and bureaucracy.

As per reports, Certain Israeli Tourists Who Have Started Visiting The United Arab Emirates Have Been Stealing From The Hotel

As a result of this diplomatic deal between the two governments, a lot of Israelis have visited the country in the past few months. As per reports, a significant number of tourists who have come from Israel have been robbing the hotels and stealing their valuables, something that was not occurring too often in the hotels of the United Arab Emirates which is one of the most famous tourists hotspots in Asia.

Some have taken it to the next level by criticizing the agreement between the two countries, referring to Israelis as Zionist occupiers who have earlier robbed the Palestinians off their homes and are now robbing the hotels of Dubai.

Middle East Monitor also reported several hotel officials complaining about the behavior of certain tourists who have arrived at Dubai from Israel in the past few months, reporting many of the valuables and appliances getting stolen and even catching a few of the tourists sneaking out of the hotels with their appliances while checking-out.

It is also important to note that due to the pandemic, the flight fares and hotel charges have reduced drastically. Many people have taken leverage of this time and are opting for vacations, taking full advantage of the low prices and costs of tourism however, it is extremely shameful to not be considerate of the host country, their employees, and their culture when one is visiting their country as a tourist.

Mysterious UFO Above The Ocean Caught On Camera

The UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) always give us believers an adrenaline rush, do they not? The idea that aliens might be coming finally is so intriguing. Although the true alien experts like some of us would know that aliens are already amidst us, they just hide their existence from us. Yet, the appearance of the mysterious UFOs definitely sends a thrill to amateurs and experts alike.

So as it turns out, aliens chose 2021 to come to Hawaii; talk about all the Hollywood movies. I guess they got the notice that they are to arrive in the USA first. A few days into 2021, a woman saw in the night sky a glowing object. It was no firework. The movement of it at least didn’t seem like fireworks. The blue object hovered in the sky. Obviously, the women demonstrated quick thinking and made a video. As she followed the object, it crashed into the ocean.

What’s amazing is that it wasn’t just her who saw the UFO. Several other bystanders witnessed it and caught it on camera. They also informed the police. Naturally, the police forwarded the reports to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). According to the videos, the object was flying near Haleakala Avenue in Nanakuli.

Where did it go?

Another eyewitness of the UFO, who is a non-believer of UFOs, decided to follow the object. She drove for 3 miles until she saw the object crash in the ocean without a sound. She describes the object to be larger than a telephone pole. After this, they decided to call the police. The police arrived, and they all saw another object, this time, white. It went over a town and then disappeared.

Since the FAA had gotten involved, they too investigated. They stated that there are no missing aircraft. So the oblong-shaped object can only be a UFO. Authorities have also checked the ocean, but there are no traces of the object.

Now, the question is, where did it go? Could it have gone to the lost city of Atlantis built by aliens? Or or or, did you ever wonder that it was not an alien (because, well, they are already among us) but a dragon. Baba Vanga did mention there will be a dragon who will visit the earth this year. Or maybe it was a UFO in the shape of a dragon. So many possibilities!

Born in Lahore in 1970, Faisal joined Pakistan Air Force as a commissioned officer in the 90th GDP course back in 1991. He is known to be one of the most competent and distinguished pilots with 30 years of Flying and Management experience with leading air forces of the world.”

So when people started asking her questions on her wedding photo, she decided to answer one of the followers and shut down the rumors once and for all. On her profile, OutstylewithNadia, Kashafsyed_ asked Nadia very technically, very innocently. However, I have a problem with the faux innocent who pretends to be nice, but they really want to hurt other people. If you are confused as to whether the other person wants to hurt you, a significant signal would be them saying, ‘oh, we just want to clear the confusion.’

Well, honestly speaking, I didn’t even understand her question.

What was clear, though, everyone assumed Kiaan to be her biological son. So she answered her and everyone else that Kiaan, her youngest son, is adopted. And she further clarifies that it is her second marriage, not third or fourth. Although, one can wonder why it is anyone’s concern how many marriages she has had.
