Brands keep trying to be innovative; it is a marketing strategy to gain more consumers and to retain the old ones as well. Moreover, with the pandemic leading to lockdowns, businesses suffered a lot and need impressive comebacks to regain their standing. Burger King Japan has done something along those lines.

What is Burger King up to?

The brand is releasing a new product in the participating outlets within Japan. They even teased their audience with a picture of it on their Twitter account. But the photo is blurred for the sake of preserving mystery. And it will remain a mystery until we near October 23rd a little more, which is when the product will be available.

Interestingly though, the product is not a long term project somewhat a short term one. And it will only be there for two weeks, following 23rd October. But is the limited time availability all that the new product offers? No. Everything about it is very intriguing.

Fake Burger Details

First of all, it’s being called ‘Fake Burger.’ They say it’s eatable, but it’s not a burger.

Secondly, its contents remain unknown thanks to the blurry image. And the brand is not going to unveil them until the launch date is very near.

The filling inside the burger seems golden. And where have you seen a burger with a golden filling?

Burger King said in a Press Release:

“[We] can’t tell you the details of the taste and contents yet, but once you eat it, you will be addicted to its deliciousness.”

Thirdly, the fake burger costs less than the usual whopper. Fake Burger will be priced at 290 yen, which is $2.75. At the same time, their typical whopper costs 220 yen ($2.1).

They have also said that it will not have any fancy meat or condiment.

The Guesswork

So basically, people are left with nothing but guesswork. The speculations are that it will be plants that taste like meat. But surely, they can’t do that, considering Mos Burger has already done it.

So we decided to add another speculation to the pool. What if it is a dessert?

I mean, would I want to eat something that looks like a burger but is sweet? I am not sure. But I would want to see the whole, uncensored picture. And for that, we will have to wait for Burger King to unveil the rest of the details. Until then, we have to make do with the real burgers.

Following the #BlackLivesMatter’s incredible wave of protests this year, many discussions are being done on racism. In Pakistan, this is a conversation that’s essential to have. Racist notions are deeply rooted in our society, and it’s time to change that!

Barbie and Nikkie Get Real

Barbie’s company has taken a progressive step. There’s a new video on the internet by Barbie and Nikkie in which they undertake the task of conversing on something uncomfortable— racism.

Nikkie speaks about how people of color get discriminated against for doing the same thing that others are doing. It’s just always assumed black people are never smart; they “get lucky.” Even when you’re as young as a child, the discrimination does not stop there. Racism is hurtful, takes a huge toll on people’s mental health, and it is constant.

The Place of A Black Barbie In Pakistan

While we’re talking about barbies, let’s imagine how a black barbie would fare in Pakistan. Most stores would not choose a stock one, and it won’t be their fault. Why? Because no one will actually come to purchase it!

Families in the toy section, upon seeing the barbie, might laugh or ridicule it. Most people do this, and we, too, have been guilty of doing this. That is exactly why this conversation will put the wheels of dismantling this idea in motion. Only when we talk about it, we recognize how we have been complicity, and only then does change come.

Colourism In Pakistan Is A Form Of Racism

Why is there so much uproar against fair n lovely? That’s because fair n lovely ingrains the idea in people that you have a problem you need to address when you’re dark. And you can address it by putting creams on your face that make you lighter. Once you’re lighter, only then are you beautiful and will feel productive, successful, and attractive.

This idea is an extension of the ideology behind racism: that the white is always superior. The people of color and black people are all thus, naturally and biologically inferior. This is why people have been standing up against colorism in Pakistan.

Moreover, doing so is even more important because of how many young girls fall prey to chemicals which “promise” to lighten your skin but can be cancerous or otherwise harmful in the long run.

Change does not come overnight, but it also does not come through whispers. Raise your voice now!

The HomeLoveLifestyle team was lucky enough to get some time with Sanam Saeed at home, joined in occasionally by the family cat, Billi.

Is your home self-designed or did you have any input from a professional?

Well, this is actually my parent’s home and both my parents were interior designers. We moved here after living for many years in a very old-style apartment building with high ceilings, and long corridors. And we wondered how we would adjust to a modern house but we fell in love with the indoor spiral staircase in this house and the garden space.

We always wanted to have a garden where we could just put our feet in the grass and have some chai. My mother actually had to pack up several apartments which were all in the same building to move here – ours, my grandparents, my uncle who had moved away.

So it’s a family home?

Yes. There is a lot of history in this house. My parents used to make wrought iron furniture at one point so we have those pieces here. Some of the furniture is very old, antiques from my grandparent’s time.

My grandmother’s sister was an interior designer and we have inherited some of her things. I’m used to clutter I guess. And when five people live together everyone’s books, artworks take over.

I haven’t had the chance to make my own home. But even if I did, I will also end up making cosy corners.

Any favourite pieces with stories attached ?

Well this large piece on the wall was made by my mother when she was in college so it’s very, very old. The dining table was bought by my parents when they were living in London. My mother held me in a bassinet and sold sandwiches to buy this table. So it’s as old as I am.

What’s your favourite area of the house?

I guess it would be the sitting area which opens into the garden. I also like the upstairs because it has more light.

So does this home reflect your design sense?

It does but the one thing I would change is I would add more colour. When we were growing up, my parents would experiment with different finishes and they practised on our walls. So we had sponge effect, rag roll, broad brush streaks and it was always different colours.

It was much more eccentric then, everything is too tame right now. But we are in the process of getting brighter colours for the upholstery.

What’s more important for you in a home? Comfort or aesthetics?

Comfort. I wouldn’t want my home to be a showpiece. A home should be clean and comfortable and a reflection of you. It should be welcoming and homey, people shouldn’t feel afraid to break or dirty something. Our home has always had that.

What inspires you about home decor?

Colour! I also like wooden furniture with maybe a sandpaper finish, very rustic…. and lots of plants and flowers. Flowers really brighten up a place, it’s like lipstick on a woman.

After visiting the very gracious Sanam Saeed at Home we have become even bigger fans! We loved the elegant interiors and home decoration as well as her warm and welcoming manner!

Travel 2020: 7 Countries That Are Open For Tourism

Travel has become so much difficult if it wasn’t tricky enough already. It seems as if nothing is open for tourism anymore. And all the travel freaks who had been saving for ages or not wasting their paid leaves are left with depression because many countries closed their borders to tourists. Some dealt with this blow by traveling domestically. But others who wanted to travel abroad, what of them?

So for them, we have decided to maintain a directory of sorts, listing all the countries that are open and they can be visited right away. These places are even cheap at this moment so you can very well travel with peace of mind.

1. Turkey

Turkey has opened its borders for everyone, and even the airfare has decreased a lot. So what you would have paid for a round trip last year will now easily afford you the round trip and the visa fee as well. And honestly, the process is straightforward if you have arranged all the documents and your COVID test. So travel to at least 2,3 cities and enjoy however much you want.

2. Brazil

Brazil is now open for tourism back again. It has been so since July 30, 2020, and that too without any restrictions. Of course, the airfare might be a little high, but you can always do Airbnb to turn it into a budgeted trip.

3. Egypt

Another country has opened its border for everyone alike. All tourist locations, including the pyramids, are open for visits. The only thing you have to ensure is that you have to wear face masks at all times.

4. Uruguay

A country in South America, Uruguay, is also a beautiful tourist destination. Now, I know that Hollywood makes South America seem very unstable, but it is worth visiting. So keep a covid test in order, quarantine yourself for seven days, test again, and you are good to go.

5. Grenada

You must have hard about the Caribbean Islands. Grenada is one of those islands and a great travel destination, I might add. The beaches are worth visiting, and on top of that, it has been open for tourists since July 01st.

6. The Maldives

The Maldives is one of those countries that have always welcomed tourists without any discrimination. And they continue to do so even now. You just need to make sure of one thing, do all the research. Sometimes airlines require you to submit a COVID test when you are returning from the Maldives as well. And a foreign country with a different language may hinder you from getting it, so be prepared for any kind of adventure your trip throws at you.

7. UAE

Dubai is open to. And it has its places that are worth visiting. Although if I were to travel to Dubai, I would want a luxurious five-star trip. However, the airfare is very manageable, so if you wish, you can make a Dubai trip for sure.

Travelling is all about enjoying. While we would suggest that you travel domestically because there are so many beautiful places right here in Pakistan, but if you want to travel abroad, you can try these countries open to tourism. Happy Traveling!

An old-world sensibility, born of a love of the vintage and a gracious sense of hospitality, permeates this unique home in Karachi. It is hardly surprising then that this is the home of the late Zubaida Apa and her son Husain Tariq and his family.

Beautifully patterned floor tiles, antique-style wooden doors and a bewildering array of paintings, beautiful rugs, ceramic dishes and other collectibles make visitors stop and look around in interest.

Husain Tariq, an executive consultant in the food industry, gave us a warm welcome and opened up about his mother, his passion for collecting things and other interests.

Your home reflects a lot of character. Who is responsible for the design?

I do all the interior designing. I’m very finicky about what I like. But the family is on board of course. If you look at the elements in the home, you will find the same aesthetic sensibility in the homes of my extended family as well.

And although the purchases might be mine, I would definitely consult Amma (Zubaida Apa) before making an investment. Also, my wife is the one who executes my vision in terms of home décor and display. She is the one who manages things, gets them cleaned etc.

Your mother was such an icon and so loved by everyone. Is there anything special that belonged to her in the home?

We have still kept her cupboard the way it was in her room. Her collection of bangles and various necklaces is all displayed there.

Did you build or buy this home?

We bought this house about 5 or 6 years ago and renovated it extensively. All the old-style floor tiles, wooden doors and windows, railings, wooden stairs etc were added. I have actually done some work as an interior designer so I knew what I wanted to do.

This is obviously a collector’s home. You even have antique plates hanging in the porch outside.

That’s me. I have a real passion for collecting things. It’s a problem really. I’m like a problem child. (laughs) If I see something I like, I have to have it. But I wouldn’t rank myself amongst the big collectors.

You have a staggering collection of china and porcelain dishes. How did you build up this collection?

Well, I have bought a lot of things from India and other places when I would travel. I picked up a lot of my Gardnar pieces in Quetta. Many from other travels and some were gifts.

In the early days when there was little restriction on weight, I would carry heavy packages back with me on board the plane. I have been known to carry upto 40 kg of items in my hand carry. I have even gotten into altercations with the airline staff and managed to talk my way through. That’s all over now, of course.

And what about the local antique stores?

Yes, of course. I would visit the shops in Nursery. Earlier, they had fewer customers and one could build up personal relationships with them. So even with low-budget one could buy things.

Do you have a favourite piece or something with a story behind it?

On a trip to Bombay, I was introduced to a Parsi lady selling some ceramic bowls. I liked them so I bought the whole lot and I got a good deal on it. Some years later I visited a museum in Qatar and saw similar style ceramic bowls displayed there in the Islamic History museum. It turns out that they are actually museum pieces. I researched it then and so this collection is very special.

You are also a painter?

Yes. I have been painting for some 35 years but have not exhibited much. I don’t claim to be part of the art fraternity. It’s fortunate that I have a dedicated clientele which buys my work.

You also own an impressive collection of art work.

My whole collection has been built over 20 to 25 years. Some of them have been inherited from Amma, like the Shakir Ali and Mansur Aye.

Others have been bought over the years. Paintings are so expensive now, one can barely afford the new artists. So I’m lucky I have some great contemporary as well as masters like Gulgee, Sadequain, Ahmad Pervaiz and others.

Do you entertain often?

Oh yes! We entertain a lot. I love to cook and have people over. In fact, there is a standing joke that anyone can drop in here off the road for a meal. I can cook for up to 80, 90 guests. For Amma’s 70^th birthday she and I cooked for 150 people!

How do you accommodate so many people in the home?

We throw open the whole house, the upstairs and the downstairs area. People can also spill outside and into the balcony upstairs.

Which is your favourite area of the home?

It would be the small breakfast room upstairs. It opens into a small balcony and it’s lovely to sit here when it rains. Or just to have tea here. When we entertain I put the dessert out in this area.

And who is responsible for the lush foliage outside?

That would be my mother. When we moved here there was only one neem tree. She planted the Gulmohar and the bougainvillea. And she would oversee the plants.

TikTok Star Ali Khan’s Publicity Stunt Exposed

A group of roasters in Pakistan on Youtube feel that they are exceptions to all limits of morals and ethics. One of them, Ali Khan, just got exposed!

The Controversy

Ali Khan brought a girl into his video, apparently a dark-skinned girl, and then he crossed his limits. The girl’s face was extremely dark, and thus, the girl was made out to be dark-skinned.

Due to this, Ali Khan started making fun of the girl and started calling her “Kali,” “kali.” This led to a lot of uproar on social media, and several YouTubers also made a video on this. They spoke about how unacceptable this was, including Raza Samoa, Rahim Pardesi, and others.

How Was This Fake?

Shahmeer Abbas, another YouTuber in Pakistan, exposed that stunt altogether. Shahmeer’s observation of this video told everyone that the girl was hired to act in that publicity stunt. Moreover, the said girl was supposedly wearing makeup to look darker. Why? Because her hand comes in the video, and it’s substantially lighter than her face.

Shahmeer Abbas also showed this video to a professional skin doctor who said that this could not be real; it is definitely fake. The color that the girl is shown to be is first of all more grey, and secondly, she is also characteristic of several features that she does not have.

Was This Exposed The Right Way?

Shahmeer Abbas, although did right to call out a senseless Tiktoker’s stunt, the way he did it was not right.

In the video, he keeps referring to Ali Khan as a “choora.” A “choora” is a slur and a derogatory term used for Christians and the laborers in our society, which should not be promoted today. Moreover, he clearly says that people like Ali Khan, who are “uneducated,” can never gain Youtube success.

That line in particular (and you can see word for word in the video) relates a lot to what Shehzad Ghias said about the TikTok ban. The ban on TikTok is a class-ist act because yes, half the people on TikTok are your everyday people who don’t have fancy degrees and work on daily wages.

This is representative of sadly a huge part of our society; if we have the conscience to do right in one place, we forget it in the other.

This Pakistani Guy Wants Women To Normalize Repeating Same Outfits

Pakistani guy takes to Twitter asking why women can’t repeat the same outfits, and Twitter is having a field day with it.

Every once in a while, Twitter sees a tweet that goes viral. The discussions on it are sometimes funny and sometimes thought-provoking. Yesterday, on October 20, another viral tweet sparked debate, and girls find it very relatable.

So this Pakistani guy tweets, possibly with the idea of taunt, that, ‘when are you (girls) going to normalize wearing the same dress on two separate occasions?’

He wanted to say that girls have too many dresses, possibly. And not to forget the existing stereotype that girls obsess over their wardrobe too much. But it took a completely different turn because, contrary to what men believe, women are more disturbed by this practice than men are.

So the responses started flooding in, and while they are hilarious, they are also very much on point. Let’s have a look at them, shall we?

1. You never argue with the doctors!

Doctors will be doctors all the time. Treating whatever they can get their hands on, even if it is a questionable mindset. BonjourHareem does the same. She said that doctors have to wear scrubs every day, so it’s the same dress, even the same color, all day, every day.

While the professional requirement of the doctors make them wear the same dress every day, one may say there is no excuse for repeating outfits for functions. Amna_Amzy declared that repeating outfits is already routine. Her evidence was wearing the same suit on five different functions!!! FIVE!!! Where was the dress police, girl?

Govt To Introduce New Law To Fast-Track CPEC Projects

The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a revolutionary and historic partnership between the two allies.

In a nutshell, CPEC in several projects benefited both countries via trade and other businesses.

The initial project started its construction in 2013 at an estimated $6bn; as of 2020, it is now valued at $10 billion. The project also focuses on infrastructural developments, including motorway expansions, energy production, special economic zones, and mass transit.

CPEC’s main role is to strengthen Pakistan’s economy by focusing on the important infrastructure needed to carry-out important business deals.

Govt To Introduce New Law To Fast-Track CPEC Projects

However, recently, the government of Pakistan has decided to introduce a new law to fast-track the project’s progress, according to sources.

As per the details given by the source to Profit, the Cabinet Committee on the Disposal of the Legislative Cases (CCLC) had recently approved a draft law about the CPEC Authority.

According to the draft, the position of the CEO of CPEC Authority will be abolished, the Chairman will have less involvement in decision making, and an end to the authority’s powers to constitute a business council.

The government had established the CPEC authority via CPEC Authority Ordinance 2019 on 5th October 2019. The idea was to speed-up coordination, evaluation, and monitoring of CPEC-related activities across the country.

However, as of March 2020, the ordinance expired, so the new draft was created.

“The government has prepared a fresh draft of CPEC Authority Bill 2020 to deal with CPEC Authority issues amicably.

“Also, to speed up the pace of CPEC projects that are important for the country’s economic development,” an insider informed.

As per the draft law, “The authority may call for any pertinent information, required by it from any person, institution or body that is or has been involved directly or indirectly in any CPEC-related activity, while any person or its authorized officer will be bound to provide this information within the period prescribed by the authority or such officer.”

According to the Profit, the authority’s decision will be taken by the majority of the total members. The quorum for a meeting will be two-thirds of the total members while the fraction is counted.

Moreover, the new law talks about the establishment of the CPEC Business Council. Its role will be to advise the authority by the memorandum of understanding (MoU).

With the iPhone 12 launch at Apple’s Online-Only event, there came 4 variants of the phone. Today we are going to compare two of them here. Our objective revolves around the comparison in its design, capabilities, and user ease. When it comes to iPhones, Apple goes for complete simplicity.

It provides an experience for the user who is not hard to manage. So what exactly are the differences between the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max? Why is it that there is a price difference between these two variants? Are they more alike than we think, or are they worlds apart? Let us start with the hardware itself.

A comparison of Size

The iPhone 12 Pro features a screen of 6.1 inches. This is quite a step up from the standard iPhone 12 size. It has a beautiful resolution with an amazing display. Due to it’s a bigger size and wider screen, the iPhone 12 Pro Max also weighs at a higher 8 ounces. Compared to this, the Pro weighs at 6 ounces. So if you’re someone who prefers to go for lighter phones, then iPhone 12 Pro is the go-to.

A bulkier body also signifies another thing. It shows that, sometimes, single-hand use of the phone may not be possible. If the user is used to typing and scrolling with one hand, they may find the iPhone 12 Pro more to their taste.

The Camera

This is where there is more of a difference between the two phones than any other. Both of them offer a triple camera array with excellent pixel quantity.

However, the sensor size differs in both of the phones. In iPhone 12 Pro Max, the sensor is larger than the Pro. Statistics have concluded that the Pro Max has 87% improvement due to the larger sensor. Improvement in what, you ask? Low light photography!

The Pro Max has impressive results regarding low light photography and absolutely triumphs over the iPhone 12 Pro.

The Verdict

Concluding the comparison, the Pro Max has a slightly better battery capacity. So if you’re looking to run your phone for 3-4 hours more, the Pro Max is your choice.

Looking at everything discussed above, there is no difference between the two variants to save the camera and the size. The 12 Pro has a more manageable compact size, and the Pro Max has a bigger one. It can all boil down to your preference. Plus, the Pro Max comes with an added expense too, so maybe give a second thought before investing!

Initiated last year, this nationwide campaign is a collaboration between Ehsan Chappal Store (ECS) and Baitussalam (a non-profit organization), basically aimed at providing free footwear to the underprivileged. The turnout was massive in 2019 and later on, a shoe distribution video was also posted by the brand, adding to the credibility of the initiative.

The smile on those faces was reason enough for us to return to the store this September 11 and shop to our heart’s content! Even amid the Corona scare, people showed up to be a part of this wonderful initiative, buying pairs of shoes and filling cards with personalized messages to be delivered with the donated pair.

There was a time in history when Atari was the most advanced gaming system. The introduction of a singular joystick into gaming brought about a whole turning point. When the Sega was released, it was considered revolutionary. They had managed to compress so much software into one small box.

Stepping into the 21st century, the PlayStation 2 took the market by storm. It is still considered as the Most sold console of all time. PlayStation 4 release in 2014 till now has not broken that record. So, with 2020 at an end, what should we know about PS 5? How is it any different from its predecessors?

1. The Design

The PS 5 steps apart from the usual black design. It comes in a combination of black and white both. Apart from the color, it has two variants. One of them is digital-only, and the other comes with an attached disc drive. For all of you collectors with disc nostalgia, the latter suits you best. At the console’s reveal, it was teased that there would be another accessory for the console.

Whether it is an external SSD for extra storage remains to be seen. Despite the hype, a lot has been kept in the dark until users actually get a hand on one of these.

2. Dual shock 5 – A step into next-gen

PS 5 comes with a state-of-the-art next-generation controller. It contains features that have never been experienced in any of the controllers before. When PlayStation 3 came out, everyone wanted a feel of that wireless controller. You were no longer tethered to the console at a small distance. PlayStation 4 improved the console and brought about sensors. These included a touch in the center and a gyro for in-game rotation.

PlayStation 5 controller, at it’s best, features haptic feedback. This means that if you’re playing a racing game with a car on the muddy ground, the controller will give a different sense. It will adapt according to the conditions of the game. If your gun jams mid-game or you have a heavy machine gun in-game, it will be harder to press the triggers. Not just this, the controller has an In-Built microphone.

3. The User Interface

The interface of the PS 5 will offer better ease of access for users. Everything is much more organized when you open up the launch screen.

Every game and news are sorted into different folders. The PlayStation Store has been Integrated into the screen too. This is better as opposed to opening a new app every time you wish to open the store.

4. PS VR

One of the most exciting updates to look forward to is the PlayStation Virtual reality system. Since many games in the future are going to be based on VR, it made sense to include this feature.

With the PS 5, there is compatibility present for the PlayStation VR! Isn’t that exciting? Maybe there is a chance you will be able to play Half-Life: Alyx with this purchase.

5. Upcoming Games

Of course, one cannot mention a gaming console without informing about the games. Recent events announced a new God Of War game, which is expected to be two steps up the previous one.

Not just this, Dying Light 2 is set to release for the PS5 too. Apart from ‘The Last Of Us,’ the writer of this article ranks Dying Light as the best zombie game ever.

PS4 support is expected to end after 2022, after which they will permanently shift to next-gen. So start saving up!

The Samsung Galaxy S20 series is one of the best flagships to hit the shelves. The series includes three variants, the Galaxy S20, S20+ (plus), and the S20 Ultra.

In a nutshell, the significant difference between all three is the size of their display and a few features.

However, before you get down to rooting your Galaxy S20, there are a few things you should know.

What Is Rooting?

Many Android users want to root their smartphones; it is like getting hold of the administrator access to the device.

Unfortunately, there are also risks associated with rooting. The majority of the time, Android phones are not designed to be embedded. A user can easily cause the entire system to crash if the wrong files are installed or if a malware ends up compromising the device.

Also, you must understand that applications such as Google Pay or other Banking apps refuse to work on rooted phones as a precaution.

Nonetheless, if you are 100% sure that you want to root your device, we will help. The following guide will help you root all three variants in the Galaxy S20 series. Be sure to go through each step thoroughly and read it at least twice before starting the rooting process.

Rooting the Samsung Galaxy S20 Series

The first device we will root is the Galaxy S20. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, a 6.2in dynamic AMOLED display, a decent triple camera setup, and 5G compatibility.

Step 1- Check Eligibility

Before we start the process, be sure that your device is eligible for the procedure. Note down the model and carrier code on a piece of paper. You can find the needed information in Settings > About phone > Software information.

Step 2- Enable Developer Mode

If your device is on the list, the next step is to enable the developer mode by going to About Phone > Software Information > Build Number. Tap on the build number precisely seven times to help the developer mode.

Once you have done that, go to ‘Developer Options’ and enable ‘OEM Unlocking.’ If your phone automatically reboots to the ‘Unlock bootloader?’ screen, you will proceed.

If not, turn the device off by holding Volume Down + Volume Up together while the device is connected to a PC or Laptop via USB. Release the buttons when you see a warning sign on the screen, and then hold the volume up button.

When you see the ‘Unlock bootloader?’ screen, confirm the action using the volume up button. Once done, the device will continue to proceed with the process. Keep in mind that it will factory reset itself.

Skip all settings and options when the device resets. Only connect to the internet via Wi-Fi or mobile data.

Step 3- Re-Enable Developers Option

You now need to re-enable the developer options by repeating step #2. If the OEM options are disabled, re-enable them.

Turn the device off once again by pressing Volume up + Volume down together while connected via a USB to a PC or Laptop. However, this time, you will only press the volume up button instead of holding down on it.

Step 4- Bootloading Successful/ non-successful

At this point, the device screen should enter the downloading screen. If the top left corner of the screen reads ‘OEM Lock’ and ‘Reactivation Lock’ and both are ‘Off,’ you have successfully unlocked the device.

However, if you have done something wrong or have missed a step, you will have to follow the steps. If it still fails to work, then your S20 series device is not supported.

Step 5- Download Official Firmware

To root the device, you must download the official firmware for your particular model and region (CSC). The CSC for your device is the last 3-letters you had copied down earlier, i.e., xxx_CHC; in this case, CHC is your CSC.

Once it has downloaded, extract the .zip files to your desktop, there should be five files altogether. If the version is the same as your current firmware, you can proceed.

Step 6- Extracting Boot (Kernel) Image

Extract the file boot.img.Iz4 from the firmware’s AP file. Then, create a new .tar archive using 7-Zip. Lastly, place the extracted boot.img.Iz4 inside it.

Once done, transfer the tar archive you created to your device’s storage. Launch the Magisk Manager and install it. Be sure to keep ‘Recovery Mode’ options off.

Then, choose the tar archive you created and click Next > Let’s Go. A patched file will be created, which you will have to transfer to your PC/Laptop. Put your Galaxy S20 device in download mode, open Odin on your PC/Laptop, and use the magisk_patched.tar in the AP slot. Click ‘Start.’

Your device will go through a flash and will reboot with Magisk root access installed.

Lahore, October 20, 2020: Careem, the everyday Super App of the greater Middle East and Pakistan, has expanded its food delivery service to Lahore. Customers can now order food right from the Careem Super App’s food delivery section which will provide a seamless experience and multiple cuisine options, catering to all budgets. Careem’s food delivery service, which is already a successful vertical in the Middle East, entered the Pakistan market in October, 2019, starting from Karachi where it has around 1200 merchants onboard. Face yoga is a thing, and once you try these exercises, it’ll become your favorite form of exercise! It is a series of repetitive facial exercises that stimulate face muscles, tighten the skin, and reduce signs of aging.

By overall stimulating circulation to your face, you get a plump and refreshed face!

1. Forehead Smoother

In this exercise, acupressure is used to remove tension at key points in your forehead. This relaxing movement will help prevent wrinkles and smooth any persistent forehead lines.

Steps:

Make fists and place them on your forehead.
Apply pressure using your middle and index finger knuckles.
Maintain pressure as you slowly slide your fists to either side.
End at your temples, gently applying more pressure.
Repeat four times.

2. Jaw Stretch

We’ve all been there… trying to flex the jaw, so we get that definition. However, by tightening your jawline with this neck firming exercise, you can prevent fine lines, trim up any unwanted fat in the jaw, and firm up a double chin!

Steps:

Pucker your lips to one side until you feel a stretch in your cheek.
Turn your head to that side and lift at a 45 degrees angle.
Hold for 3 seconds to feel the stretch in your neck.
Repeat once, and then switch to the other side.

3. Cheek Plumper

If your face is tired or lackluster, the cheeks are the first place where it will show. Work the muscles in your cheeks upward and push against your skin’s natural gravity to give them a more lifted and plumper appearance.

Steps:

Close your lips tightly.
Suck your cheeks in, forming “fish lips” with your mouth.
Hold this position for up to 10 seconds.
Repeat 5 times.

4. Face Firmer

This advanced yoga exercise effectively engages your entire face. It tones, defines, and activates both cheeks and lower regions of the face. As you stretch, you should feel a slight burning in the corners of your mouth and cheeks — the best sign.

Steps:

Form an “O” with your mouth and fold your lips over your teeth.
Smile with the corners of your mouth.
Place your fingers on your cheeks and apply firm pressure.
Close your eyes and pull your chin away from your face.
Hold for 20 seconds, and then repeat three times.

5. Giraffe Neck

Your neck is one of the first areas to show signs of aging. Stretching the platysma muscle in your neck daily can help firm up the natural looseness of the décolletage and even smooth your jawline and mouth area.

Steps:

Place your fingertips on your collar bones.
Tilt your head backward and tightly pucker your lips.
As your head is tilted back, jut out your lower lip and place your fingers on your collarbone.
Bring your head back to the chest and repeat two more times.
Hold for four deep breaths.
