Now let us look at each of the products’ charging time if we’re going for a war of AirPods Vs. Galaxy Buds, the battery life is vital. AirPods were tested to have run nearly 4 hours on maximum usage. Galaxy Buds, on the other hand, were seen to run on 6 hours of battery life. Two hours can be significantly greater. Apple does charge faster, though.

It will not be far-fetched if I call chai Pakistan’s national drink. While chai is all that, coffee is also great. But that is what we need to understand, right! Each has its place; let people put them opposite each other and diss one for the other.

That is exactly what happened some time ago. A famous coffee brand featured an ad where coffee was more effective than tea in waking people up. The ad starred Mahira Khan as pro-coffee. In opposition, she had Ushna Shah, who was shown to be a chai lover. By the end of the ad, Mahira successfully converts Ushna Shah to coffee.

EZBike- Pakistan’s First Electric Bike Sharing Platform

Careem and Uber-like ride-hailing services have made life easier for many in Pakistan. The convenience has changed the transport sector within the country. Now, e-bike, Pakistan’s first-ever electric bike-sharing platform, wants in on the action as well.

In its initial phase, the platform will first provide its services in the capital city of Islamabad. Eventually, it will bring its affordable, fast, and eco-friendly commute service to other cities as it expands.

This venture by Roamer Technologies aims to “transform the urban transportation in Pakistan in a healthy and environmentally friendly way, offering people a cost-effective and convenient commute,” according to CEO Mohammad Hadi.

exBike focuses on the reduction of air pollution, to improve traffic congestion and accessibility, and of course, help Pakistanis save fuel costs.“Peshawar will be the next destination with Lahore and Karachi launch planned in the next phase,” Hadi added.

How To Book An ezBike?

The startup has many pickup/drop-off points across the city (similar to Careem/Uber). However, unlike having someone come to pick you up from your location, you have to physically go to the pick-up point to get an EV bike.

At the point, you’ll be required to register your information and make the payment.  You can also use the e-bike application to reserve an EV bike for you. You’ll eventually be given a designated drop-off point where you can park the bike for someone else to use then.

How It Works:

  • Find the closest bike on the EZBike app.
  • Reserve and head to the bike
  • Scan the QR code on the bike’s handle to unlock it
  • Put on the helmet and go.
  • To end the ride, park it at any green zone and hit ‘end ride.’

What Are The Charges?

As of now, unlocking the bike will cost riders Rs.5 and cost Rs. 5 per minute. However, the application comes with a useful feature that allows individuals to run errands by pausing the ride. The charges in that mode are Rs. 2 per minute.

Moreover, ezBike has partnered with Jazz to provide connectivity and promote digital payments through JazzCash.

Keeping in mind the novel coronavirus’s current situation, the team behind the startup wants you to rest assured that each bike is thoroughly sanitized. To ensure safety and for hygienic purposes, each rider must carry their own helmets.

Furthermore, each bike ride will be constantly monitored from the HQ to ensure the safety of the riders and protect it from damage/theft. In a COVID that impacted the world, “self-drive provides a safe way for people to move around while maintaining social distancing,” the company CEO shared.

PTCL Appoints Matthew Willsher As President & CEO

Islamabad, October 18, 2020: The PTCL Board of Directors has appointed Matthew Willsher, currently CEO of Etisalat Afghanistan, to the post of CEO PTCL Group (PTCL & Ufone) effective 1st December 2020. He succeeds Rashid Khan, who was President & CEO of the PTCL Group since March 2019 and decided to leave due to personal reasons.

Matthew has been working in the telecom industry for over 25 years. Previously he has been CEO of Etisalat in Afghanistan and in Nigeria, and held CXO roles for Etisalat in UAE, Maxis in Malaysia, and CSL in Hong Kong. He has also worked in Australia, South Korea, Holland and the UK in a variety of commercial, operational and corporate roles. Matthew’s career started in marketing for Procter & Gamble.

He holds a degree in Physics from Oxford University in the UK, a Masters in Management from McGill University in Canada, and a Diploma in International Practicing Management from INSEAD in France.

During Rashid Khan’s leadership, multiple initiatives were taken at PTCL to improve network availability, stability & customer service levels which have helped improve customer experience today, resulting in PTCL consistently achieving positive net adds since last 6 months. All these positive indicators have helped PTCL retail business to return to growth in Q3’20. Ufone’s turnaround also took place in his leadership where the subscriber base grew 22% and data subscribers grew by 86%. Despite several limitations, for last two years, Ufone has managed to beat expectations.

Yes! This happened. Director James Burrows, who directed a handful of episodes for the show between 1995 and 1997, brought the six cast members to Vegas. He encouraged the cast to enjoy themselves and said,

After TikTok was blocked in Pakistan, we continued to engage with the PTA to demonstrate our commitment to comply with local laws and further enhance our content moderation capacity. Though the PTA acknowledged and appreciated these efforts, our services remain blocked in the country and we have received no communication from PTA.

This activity would include him calling a random fan on video chat and having a hearty face to face. Or so we thought that was it.

When the TikTok fan and Ali Khan came face to face, he insulted her by calling her ‘Kaali’ and similar names! How is this a way to treat a fan? Is it not because of the fans that these stars attain their fame? It’s almost like they don’t care about their fans. Calling her by that particular word not only enters a racial zone, but breaches moral boundaries of what it means to be human.

Moving away from the Past:

Imagine how the fan must’ve felt when they were about to start talking. Now imagine how they must’ve felt after the insult. People often inspire people to be better versions of themselves but when their heroes are not even trying, why should they? The complexion of a person should not be regarded as their defining feature. Their complexion is not what makes them who they are. Who they are, their attributes, that’s what makes them human.

If this TikTok celebrity cannot respect the aforementioned ideology, then maybe the fan could look for another hero.

True Nobility:

If we intend to move forward and grow, we cannot allow ourselves to indulge in such verbal activities. The writer of this article cannot even begin to imagine the impact this one statement would have had on the confidence of the fan. What if they don’t ever meet any of their inspirations?

So what is true Nobility? It is not being superior to others or feeling higher than them. It is being superior to your former self. We hope the said TikToker does not engage in such verbal activities in the future. It would not be too far from the right thing to apologise to the fan. After all, their support made the star rise to where they are.

While speaking to the director about the inspiration taken from the world-famous TV series Money Heist, he said, “We understand the similarity with the internationally renowned series but for us, it is much bigger than that. We are not just inspired by the storylines of the western movies like Oceans Eleven and other similar hits but are also extremely thrilled to bring a similar concept to the Pakistani film industry”.

The producer has yet to disclose the release date of the film while the audience stays anxious about this star cast coming together.
