Personal Reflection: Is 18 A Marriageable Age?

Marriageable Age

In his attempt to convince me to get married, my dad started telling me how our religion advocates girls’ marriage at the age of 9. With historical references at his disposal, this was no light morning conversation as the car sped through Shahrah-e-Faisal. I became quiet but with the firm belief to return to the conversation laden with references myself because what is marriageable age; who is a child; what is childhood; if not subjective?

Comparing the past with the present

I told myself that I could not deny history and belief. What happened, did indeed happen. So what changed? Why is the 21st century so different from the 7th century that the mere idea of getting married by 9 does not sit right with me? Thus, I proceeded to investigate further what happened in the past 14 centuries. Or, what did not, for that matter.

It was not just the Islamic history that witnessed girls being married at the ages of 7 and 9. But in the West as well, we see that historically, girls would get married the moment they would reach their childbearing ages. But now, even though the legal age for marriage is 18, that too seems too young for a girl to be married. Doesn’t it? So let’s explore it together.

Childhood

Childhood? What is that?

The West in the 17th and 18th centuries witnessed an Enlightenment thinker by the name of John Locke. He introduced the concept of childhood, saying that people of young ages are children. Up until then, they were treated as mini-adults. They would work as employees in mines, and basically, they would do all the tasks expected of an ordinary adult these days.

With the introduction of the concept of childhood, society started becoming accustomed to the idea of it. From then on, we started seeing schools emerge. The notion of playgrounds also materialized through these schools.

childhood
Image Source: Biography and the Biography

What Ensued Right After?

What ensued? Nothing! We accepted it. Be it due to colonialization or something else; the whole world accepted this new notion. We decided that we will treat individuals below 18 as children. And we continued in that trajectory so much so that the children accepted their role as children as well. Being treated this way for centuries now, even 18-year-olds have the mentality of children. We don’t consider someone an adult until they have done their undergraduate.

So how is it that I would accept the idea of getting married at an age I would attribute to childhood? And how is it that our previous generation is still endorsing a practice that was common before the introduction of a phenomenon? Shouldn’t we have adapted to it as well? Shouldn’t our parents adapt to it too? Shouldn’t we look at our present in light of not just history when it suits ourselves but with an interdisciplinary lens? A lens curated by being aware of history, religion, as well as anthropology? How is the age of 9 still a marriageable age then? How is 18, even a marriageable age?

4 Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Mislead Your Customers

mislead customers

False advertisements are standard all around the world, but the trend seems to be significantly concentrated in Pakistan. You’ll find this practice in almost every industry where what will be advertised will be far from the truth. We all know the meme “ what you order online vs. what you get”!

How Do Companies Mislead Customers?

Customers are misled when companies indulge in false advertising. For example, let’s talk about clothes. When a campaign is shot, the environment is hugely controlled, which means the lights, the background, the stitching is all perfect. However, when you get the unstitched material, it’s not what it was in the picture.

mislead customers

Most companies have taglines that guarantee the quality, durability, etc. but it’s all a sham. So why should you not mislead?

1. The Effect On Customers

Anyone who’s coming to buy your products is using their hard-earned money to get whatever you’re selling. While many will be doing irrational buying, there will be more who would not be. They would have thought about your product, made some decisions relating to it, and then purchased it.

When you defraud them, you ruin their mood and hurt their feelings. Once they get a product they needed but it does not last, it will be double expenditure for them. Don’t be this crass; the world is already a terrible place.

2. The Effect On Your Company

You might be thinking, eh, I can risk a few tears for profit. But news flash, the effect on your customers will backfire and hurt your company. One customer can stay quiet, two can stay quiet, but three won’t.

They can either start badmouthing your company on social media or through word of mouth, both of which will make you lose customers. Or, they can take you to court! This latter option might result in hefty fines, a cease and desist order, financial loss, and the loss of your already existing customers too.

You aren’t untouchable; the sooner you start acknowledging that, the better!

3. The Effect on Employees

Employees usually know everything is going on inside the company even if they are not responsible for it. Gossip is as much a thing in offices as it is in schools! However, once they’re aware that the company they’re working for is a fraud, they can avail of two options.

Firstly, they could either rat you out for something in return. Secondly, they could start emulating your very own ethics under your nose. Is that the culture you’re hoping to create?

4. The Effect on Competition

All these effects are like a domino effect. Overall, your reputation will be going down the drain, and word will be out that so and so the company is drowning. This will be the perfect time for them to snatch your business from you before you know it!

Free-Education – Haleeb Foods Enlightening The Underprivileged Street Children

Education is the key to socio-economic well-being in the modern world. It promises access to more opportunities, and for most of the underprivileged people, it is the only way to elevate their quality of life. Countries where sufficient resources are allocated towards educating their population have broken the shackles of poverty and are on their way to progress within a couple of decades. Literacy gains critical importance in under-developed nations that need to nurture a globally informed and competitive workforce for a brighter future.

Pakistan being a developing country, faces low literacy, where the government tries to fulfill the educational requirements of unplanned population-growth in certain areas. However, Pakistan will need some quick, out-of-the-box solutions and innovative measures to educate every child; otherwise, its next generations will not be competitive in this fast-paced world. In such circumstances, the nation’s creative corporate sector must contribute towards more academic communities to uplift the whole society and build a sustainable economy. In short, the PPP (Public-Private Partnership) model is the only solution.

Many individuals and enterprises in the country are trying to play their roles to educate a large number of deprived children. One exemplary effort in this regard is being made Haleeb Foods (HFL), one of the pioneer dairy and beverage companies of Pakistan. A belief that; Education is the fundamental right of every child has led to this Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, titled: “Donate to Educate – Agay Barhay Ga Pakistan.” Being a Pakistani company at heart, Haleeb Food is extending valuable support to provide Free-of-cost education for the underprivileged children.

free education haleeb

As part of this initiative, Haleeb Foods Limited (HFL) has partnered with Master Ayub – a firefighter during the day, who has taken the noble responsibility of being a voluntary teacher in the evening. For the past 30 years, Master Ayub has been educating street kids, Free of Cost, by conducting a Park-School, in Islamabad.

With a pledge to support his selfless cause, HFL is donating 3 Rupees from every liter-pack purchased by the consumers. This donation is helping Master Ayub meet the school’s expenses and accomplish his dream of enriching his pupils’ lives with absolutely free schooling. The sincere efforts of this school’s founder are an inspiration for everyone to follow.

This philanthropic institution has already helped in teaching thousands of children voluntarily. All the resourceful individuals and enterprises must identify such ‘Heroes of Pakistan’ and help them to bring an educational-revolution, to enrich the lives of the street children, their families, and the whole country.

Belonging to a low-income family, Master Ayub lost his parents at a young age. However, he worked very hard, day & night, to study along with the responsibility of rearing his five brothers and three sisters who are all well-educated now. With his limited resources, he has created this free-school for poor children, where he also gives them free books and copies. Over the decades, thousands of street-children have already studied in this school to get into respectable employment or businesses, while others are getting higher education in colleges or universities.

The students and their parents express their gratitude and prayers for Master Ayub, who has brought their lives out of the darkness of illiteracy. They believe that; Haleeb kay Saath – Agay Barhay Ga Pakistan, as many of these students are inspired to follow their great teacher’s foot-steps, to establish free schools in the future.

HFL is adopting global best-practices and innovative technologies to ensure high productivity and nation-wide availability of safe and healthy, packaged dairy-products. It is creating public-awareness and educating the masses about the advantages of consuming hygienic and high-quality, nutritional dairy products to nurture a more vital and prolific nation. Being the 3rd largest milk-producing nation in the world – Pakistan’s Dairy Industry is already creating large-scale employment opportunities for the farmers in the rural regions while ensuring the well-being of the urban areas.

Noor Khadija: First Female Head Of South Waziristan’s Education Department

Noor Khadija

Every day we hear about amazing people doing extraordinary things! From establishing a million-dollar startup to making discoveries in science, and much more. Today, another name has been added to the list.

For the first time in history, the South Waziristan district in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province has taken a woman on board as the head of the Education Department.

Moreover, you’d be surprised to know that this region is known to have the lowest female literacy rate in the country. The head of the Education Department, Noor Khadija, comes from a family of educators.

While speaking to a local media outlet, the marvelous lady shared:

It was my long-standing desire to serve my community, specifically girls, to remove obstacles in the way of their education.

As a woman, Fatima Jinnah proved that women could make a difference and play a decisive role to lead society for positive change.

She continued to add:

I will strive to provide girls schools with all missing facilities, to empower girls through education, which is of paramount importance for a vibrant society,

LSE Admission 2020: Everything You Need To Know!

Literacy Rate In Pakistan

According to a report by H.Plecher in Jul. 2020, The literacy rate measures the percentage of people aged 15 and above who can read and write. In 2017, Pakistan’s total literacy rate was around 59%, with less than 47% of women being literate and more than 71% of men.

He added that there was a dire need for the women of the country to receive an education. Over the years, the rate of female literacy in Pakistan has risen. In 2008 there were approximately 46.51 million educated women, whereas, in 2014, the total was 51.64 million.

It is essential to add here that although education for both genders is not prohibited in Pakistan, women are generally not as well educated as men. There are still hundreds of millions of mindsets that believe that a girl’s place is in the kitchen and not an office. It is also a widespread misperception that if a girl is educated, she will go against her husband and family, which in society is unacceptable.

But, it’s not just the women who face hardship when it comes to receiving education, its also men and the transgender community as well. In several households, families do not consider education important for men as their gender allows them to survive on any job and do whatever it takes to bring bread on the table.

Whereas the transgender community has still not been whole-heartedly accepted across the country, making it hard for them to receive a formal education. They are often kicked out of their own homes and are sent away to live with ‘their kind.’

However, as more awareness spreads and the youth support grows, we are optimistic that the current situation will turn around. Soon the literacy rate in Pakistan for men, women, children will be higher than it is today.

Even though Pakistan’s automotive sector has been going through a tough time, some automotive brands had better days compared to several others.

This fiscal year has also been quite a challenge for everyone, as sales have declined by 43.4% during the first eight months of FY19-20. There are several factors behind the drop in sales and demand.

The reason behind the drop is the rising car-prices and sky-high interest rates. So far, unfortunately, things do not seem to get any better in the upcoming days with Coronavirus leaving its print on every industry.

Moreover, the increase in imports and parts have also hiked the prices of cars, raising a question of affordability. Nonetheless, Pakistan Automobile Manufacturers Association (PAMA) has released reports for the performance of the auto sector in August 2020.

Comparatively, the sales have increased, showing a positive sign, and things have started to settle down once again. However, sales are still alarmingly low, and many car titans have to suffer a significant loss of revenue.

Without further ado, here are the most sold cars of August 2020!

Update: Nutella Apologizes For Saying It Is Not Halal

nutella

[Update]: Nutella USA just released a statement in reply to the twitter handle @imjustsully2, revoking their earlier opinion. They confirmed that all their products sold worldwide are indeed halal. As far as making them ‘halal-certified’ is concerned, 90% of all their manufacturing plants are certified. The rest of them are in the process of being approved.

So the Muslim fans can rest assured, not that they needed the confirmation…

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Some Pakistanis made fun of the Urdu translation on Nutella Ferrero’s packaging. It was more like English written in Urdu script. Since the Pakistani government indicated it, they had to do it. While fans understood that, they blamed Nutella for using Google Translation.

Once again, Nutella is in the limelight. This time it is for the brand not being halal. Now, where did this come from? So apparently, there was this Twitter user who goes by the handle @imjustsully2 who tagged Nutella USA, asking them if their beloved product was halal. Nutella USA was quick to respond. And they answered that they were not.

There was chaos amid the fans who refused to accept this statement.

Some even went into investigation mode to figure out how to prove them wrong. Let’s look at some of these tweets and see how successful they were in their goal.

Will Probably Die Petting a Bear, but Nutella is Halal

So @tsohgcinam was found saying that it ‘is halal, given that halal means “permissible,” & there’s nothing forbidden in the listed contents; it’s just not halal certified. Nutella is still ok, promise.’

He/She assured another fan that the contents listed on the products are halal. The only problem is with certification, which the brand doesn’t have.

Because we know better than the company itself

Dakota took a page out of Ferrero’s book or more like their website. In the tweet, he mentioned how Ferror’s website lists its content halal. And they even signal towards the National independent Halaal Trust website to prove they are.

Because we don’t leave any stone unturned

@nafology listed all the ingredients used in the product. And she then proves how none of the products require halal certification, so even without the certificate, they would be considered halal.

I mean, take notice: sugar, palm oil. Hazelnuts, skim milk, cocoa, soy lecithin, vanillin. How is it not halal?

The Professor knows best.

Are you the money heist professor in disguise. Because if you are, we will trust you all the way. So anyway, the Professor makes sure that he gives the logical angle in this. He clarifies that since companies need to undergo a proper process to declare their product halal, they can’t call it that due to rules and regulations. So better to consult a local scholar than the companies.

All this said, it looks quite possible that the product is halal. But the brand should also look into what requires halal certification and what doesn’t because we get mini-heart attacks at such statements.

Why Sex Education Should Be Normalized In Pakistan

Sex education is not the need of the hour in Pakistan. Instead, it has been the need for the decades in our country. This three-letter word frightens people as if it embodies the spirit of the devil itself, and anything related to it must be shrouded in secrecy.

And that is precisely why our culture, the health of our women and gender relations in Pakistan are deteriorating.

1. Sex Education Is Essential

Sex education, contrary to popular belief, does not only teach how to perform intercourse. It introduces a host of other lessons that are important for young boys and girls to understand their bodies.

When sex education is denied in Pakistan, most young adults gather their information from dramatized movies or pornography. This is incredibly harmful to their health and their perception because both forms are staged, fiction (that’s not real life), and controlled environments.

2. Helps Girls Prepare For Periods

If you’ve ever sat down with your girl gang and had a laugh, chances are you’ve discussed this. Most women, when they got their periods, did not know what they were or were entirely in the dark about how to handle their cycle.

Thinking you’ve got some sort of disease or that you’ve hurt yourself when you get your period is expected. Why? Because even speaking about puberty seems scandalous to society.

3. Unwanted Pregnancies

Most couples conceive very early on in their marriage. That’s also worse if the couple in question is young because that takes a significant toll on the health of women. Sex education can teach girls and boys about contraceptives properly and to do’s and not to do’s that can help avoid unwanted pregnancies.

Due to the lack of knowledge and abortion being illegal, most couples resort to roadside private abortion clinics that can damage their organs in the process.

4. Protection from STDs and Trauma

Denying sex education means that you encourage the culture of contracting sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Most do not know about any hygienic practices to follow once they start having intercourse, which can expose them to a host of diseases.

Moreover, we wish people were as excited about teaching men and women about their first time as they are to think about it on any Barat. First-time stories have been traumatizing for so many women because they and their partner both don’t know how to proceed.

5. The Myth of Virginity Can Break

If you’ve seen Churails, you must know that most aunties come and see the “stain” left behind after the first time of couples. This is to ensure the girl was, in fact, a virgin. But the idea that virginity is linked to your hymen is messed up.

Do you know your hymen can break while exercising or even swimming? Do away with the myths.

Oracle Wins TikTok Bid For U.S Operations, Microsoft Gets The Boot

TikTok
PC: Financial Times

In a race to win the auction, companies from across the United States showed their interest in owning the right to TikTok.

In an unseen turn of events, Oracle Corp. won the bidding for the U.S operations of TikTok. What came as an even bigger surprise was that the company won against Microsoft Corp.

According to an article by the Wall Street Journal, Oracle is set to be announced as TikTok’s “trusted tech partner” in the U.S.

Moreover, the deal is likely not to be structured as an outright sale. Now that Oracle has won the bid, the next step in the process is for the White House and Committee on Foreign Investment to ink the deal.

For those who are unaware, TikTok had been facing a tough time by the US government over concerns about data security.

Hence, to continue its operations in the country, the government allowed companies to place bids. The auction for operation rights will help put an end to the US government’s concerns about TikTok being a threat to data and even national security.

The complete structure of the deal with Oracle is still unclear at this point. This also includes the structure of TikTok’s popular algorithms and the artificial intelligence tech it uses.

TikTok has been in hot waters for some time now, not only in the United States but in several other countries, including Pakistan as well.

5 TikTok Rivals That Are Entering The Market!

The Pakistani government reached out to the parent company ByteDance to address their concerns, hoping to find a middle ground. TikTok also issued community guidelines (in Urdu) to help the users stay safe on the platform.

Pakistani citizens have filed many complaints against the video-dubbing platform over several reasons, which include indecent content and concerns in regards to young children being unsafe on the forum.

According to Bloomberg, a ‘source’ who did not want to be identified as the information is not yet publicly shared; the deal is likely to include a stake in a newly configured American business but will look more like a corporate restructuring than an outright sale.

Another ‘source’ shared that the terms between ByteDance and Oracle are still evolving. However, a third ‘source’ shared that it is unclear at the time if whether or not a deal with Oracle will win-over the Trump Administration.

Another ‘source’ also shared here that the existing stakeholders in ByteDance will be given a chance to share their two cents. Meanwhile, both Oracle and ByteDance have declined to provide any official statement on their ends for now.

We look forward to seeing how this partnership turns out for both sides.

Until then, stay tuned to Brandsynario for more news and updates.

Money Heist Season 5: Will Tokyo Be The Only Survivor?

Money Heist Season 5: Will Tokyo Be The Only Survivor?
Source: Pop Times UK

Sadly, the exceptionally incredible and legendary Spanish series, “Money Heist” is about to knock off! Shootings for ‘Money Heist Season 5’ are on the go and the final season will be released in August 2021 winding up the series once and for all, Netflix has confirmed.

The news has gotten everyone saddened yet excited at the same time. Money Heist maniacs are waiting anxiously for the upcoming season.

Money Heist Season 5 Fan Theories

Curious to know what season 5 holds for them, fans have started presenting their own theories and predictions.

Fans can’t stop predicting what’s going to happen in the final season.

Will Tokyo Be The Only Survivor?

Among other theories regarding the series, people have also suggested that maybe Tokyo will be the only survivor. People have also presented proper evidence to support their theory. For instance, the series started with:

“My name is Tokyo. But when this story began, that wasn’t my name.”

This hints towards Tokyo narrating the story in the end. Does that ring a bell? If Tokyo is narrating the story it means that she has survived and is present to recount all of it in the end.

Flashbacks From Tokyo’s Past – Is That A Hint?

Also, some photos from behind the scenes suggest that in season 5 Tokyo will be seen missing her boyfriend who she had lost in a robbery incident. Going back into Tokyo’s past in the final and most decisive season of the series means that it has some connections to the current story and plot, no? Well, at least that is what we are assuming.

Tokyo has enjoyed having the most essential role and being a key character throughout the series. Tokyo has been narrating the series and everything comes back to her in the end even if the episode initially focuses on other characters. Hence, saying that the series revolves around Tokyo would not be an understatement.

What About the Rest of The Crew?

Also, since many of the main fan-favorite characters such as Berlin and Nairobi have already been killed in season 2 and 4 respectively, it is safe to assume that the rest of the crew will also be dead by the end of season 5. However, except for Tokyo (of course) because who is narrating the story then? Eh?

We Can’t Wait!

Although nothing is certain, we are sure that season 5 is going to put a crazy end to the series. We can’t wait for Netflix to release the final season of our favorite crime thriller. Can you?

What are your predictions for the final season? Will Tokyo be the only survivor? What do you think? Let us know in the comment section below!

Atmosphere Fitness Opens Up Its Female Wing

atmosphere gym women wing

Karachi’s renowned gymnasium ‘Atmosphere Fitness’ opened up its female wing today, a dedicated unit measuring 8000 Square feet. The gym had started creating a hype about something exclusive coming for its female audience via its social media assets, which was unveiled today within its community members and stirred up excitement among female gym enthusiasts.

Mustafa Shabbir Hussain, honorary director at Atmosphere Fitness, shared his views regarding the new wing. “We always had the vision to open a dedicated state of the art fitness facility for both genders so that the people working around the financial hub of the city can access a health center that has excellent locality and can offer a workout space while on the way to work or after it.”

The gym hosts a wide range of cardio and strength equipment, now with dedicated wings for both the genders. The floor of the gym cumulatively measures an excess of 20,000 square feet. Team members from the gym claim it as the most extensive fitness venture in Karachi and possibly in Pakistan.

It was, therefore, necessary for the Atmosphere to become female inclusive, especially as that is a broad audience to cater to. “These are the times when women are realizing how important it is to look after themselves, and in the past few years, women around our city have actively adopted a better and a fitter lifestyle,” Mustafa added.

Atmosphere Fitness is a project of the ‘Dawoodi Bohra Community,’ housed inside the ‘Al-Nadi Al-Burhani Sports Academy,’ offering courses in outdoor sports including Horse Riding, Archery, and a cricket ground designed according to international standards.

Iffat Omar Justifies Her ‘Tharak’ & Calls It ‘Innocent Jhaphi’

Iffat Omar Jokes About Rape
Source: VeryFilmi

Iffat Omar, the famous award-winning Pakistani actress, has been in the spotlight for a couple of weeks now, unfortunately, for all the wrong reasons.

Iffat Omar’s Saga of Tharak

Last week, a video clip from Iffat Omar’s show, “Say It All With Iffat Omar,” circulated on various social media platforms. In that video, the famous actress was seen advocating and celebrating Noman Ijaz’s tales of infidelity as the veteran actor ‘proudly’ announced his extramarital affairs.

A few days later, another clip from the same show came to the forefront. Here, the host was seen narrating the shameful saga of her unethical on-set act to Ali Rehman and Hareem Farooq, who were invited to the show as guests.

Iffat Omar openly confessed that while shooting with her crush, Rahat Kazmi (who was by the way playing her father in that serial), she used to deliberately ask for retakes for a scene where they were hugging so that she could embrace the man multiple times. While discussing the incident, Iffat was seen laughing as she recounted her behavior.

Iffat Omar Faces Backlash

Soon after these videos went viral, people started calling out the famous actress and host. People expressed their disgust openly on various social media platforms, including Twitter.

Have a look at it yourself:

Iffat Omar Justifies Her ‘Tharak’ & Calls It ‘Innocent Jhaphi’

To justify her tharak, Iffat Omar posted a short video clip from her official Instagram account of that same scene (where she was hugging Rahat Kazmi) from the drama serial and wrote:

 “The innocent jhape”

Iffat Omar Justifies Her 'Tharak' & Calls It 'Innocent Jhaphi'
Source: Instagram

Umm? Excuse us? How can a supposedly ‘woke,’ self-proclaimed ‘feminist’ stoop so low? Our minds fail to comprehend. How can someone try to justify their ‘tharak’ in any way?

Iffat Omar – A Threat To Feminism

Iffat Omar, a self-proclaimed feminist and passionate advocate of women empowerment, has, in the same show, stated how the #MeToo movement is close to her heart. We have seen her talking about women’s rights and gender equality, time, and again.

However, the recent turn of events has left us skeptical about her notion of equality. People like Omar not only misrepresent such stances but also overshadow the efforts and dismiss any progress that’s been made after long periods of suffering.

Such people are problematic for the entire society but also (specifically) for the likes of their gender. When a supposedly devoted and zealous ‘feminist’ goes on promoting ‘tharak’ openly and then justifying it, the stance of every single feminist comes into question. Feminism does not support harassment of any sort. People like Iffat Omar do not represent feminists.

Simply put, feminism does not support or justify ‘tharak’!

Is There More To Come?

Is Iffat Omar’s act of justifying her tharak by calling it an “innocent jhaphi” the last nail in the coffin of her already foundering reputation? Or there’s more to come? What do you think? Let us know in the comment section below!

5 Reasons Why Manual Transmission Cars Are Better Than Automatic

Manual vs Automatic Transmission
Credits: PakWheels

Car fanatics are like any other collector; they are knowledgeable about what they are passionate about.

However, even though their love for cars brings them together, it also splits them apart over debates.

One of the most popular debates of all times is over a simple question, which car is a better buy, manual transmission, or automatic transmission?

Today, we will help you solve this dilemma as we will give you not one or two but five reasons why manuals are a better buy than automatics.

5 Reason Why Manuals Are A Better Buy Than Automatics

1. If You Can Drive A Manual, You Can Drive Anything

Manual vs Automatic
PC: AA

One of the most significant advantages manual drivers have is that if they can learn how to drive a manual transmission, then they can drive any car in the world!

Unlike automatic drivers, manual car drivers feel it is much easier to operate any car if they are used to driving with the manual transmission. From a motorcycle to a tractor and even a Forklift, manual drivers can drive them all.

On the other hand, automatic transmission drivers face a hard time in doing so because they are not used to the gearbox.

2. Affordable To Buy & Maintain

Unlike an automatic transmission, manual transmissions are more comfortable to buy as they come with a cheaper price tag and are even easier to maintain as well as the parts are readily available and affordable too.

3. The Driver (You) Has Full Control

Manual Transmission Car
PC: Cordillera Lodge

Everyone loves the feeling of being in control, especially automotive fanatics. Being able to feel the power of controlling your drive gives you a whole new level of adrenaline. This feeling is not experienced with automatic transmissions.

4. Fewer Chances Of Being Stolen/Borrowed

Since many young drivers and old ones too find it difficult to drive manual cars compared to automatics, the chances of someone borrowing your cars are low.

Not to forget that comparatively, the demand for manuals is lower than automatics, which means that the possibility of your car being stolen is way less.

5. You Can Carry Out Engine Modifications

Engine Mods
PC: Advanced Auto Parts

With automatics, modifications to the engine are risky; at times, it can cause massive damage to the entire engine, which may have to be replaced entirely.

Unlike with manual transmissions, drivers can conduct lots of experiments and can modify their ride accordingly.

For the pros and cons of both manual and automatics, you can read the article below:

Manual vs Automatic Transmission: Pros & Cons to Help You Buy Your New Car!
