“When we bring in a plant-based product…there is probably an equal and opposite reaction where we are taking something else off,” Murdoch said to a publication.

Qantas Airlines, the Australian flag carrier, announced in July 2020 that they would be suspending their operations until March 2021. This was to make sure covid does not spread more than it already has. But now that it is March and Qantas has to resume operations, they have to inspire their potential consumers back towards flying with them. And they chose the mystery flights phenomenon to do that.
Mystery Flights
To do that, they have taken the road back to the 90s. Back then, the airline used to operate mystery flights. The concept was that customers would visit the airport and be assigned any of the scheduled flights. The customers would spend a whole day and return home.

This idea has been reinstated within the airline, but these mystery flights will only be limited to Australia’s boundaries. For now, there are three mystery flights. Moreover, compared to the 90s concept, the 2021 concept is a bit more evolved. The current mystery flight does not just include the unknown destination but also the activities.

Australia’s international borders remain closed for now, but Qantas has assured their customers that the borders will open up by October 2021.
The sale for these tickets has started on March 4th, and you can book for March, April, and May.

The vaccine rollout brings a lot more certainty, and domestic border restrictions should soon be a thing of the past. As well as helping bring more of our people back to work, these mystery flights are another way to support tourism operators in regional areas especially, who have been hit particularly hard by several waves of travel restriction.”
As part of mystery flights, the customers will get to travel to a location that is within 2 hours of flight time. The takeoffs will be from Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne. During the flight, the consumers will get to experience the time of their life with low-level scenic flybys. Moreover, the mysterious activities may include a winemaking course, gourmet lunch, and musical entertainment. Of course, the customers will get clues about it, so they know what to pack too.

The Fatigue Is Real!
One of the reasons supposed by the researchers at Stanford is the constant self-evaluation. In classes or in professional meetings, participants are expected to keep their videos turned on. This leads to people constantly evaluating how they look by continuously looking at themself in the reflection.

For women, this is believed to be even higher per cent. When an individual is self-evaluating hours on end in a day, the fatigue, as opposed to in-person meetings, is far greater.
The Settings Are Restricted
We are sure by now you have also attended your fair share of Zoom meetings. Doesn’t it break your back and behind when you have to sit continuously for hours on end? Students usually have consecutive classes for up to 4 hours with no option to get up and roam around.

An American study has found that drinking just 1% more water can reduce total daily calorie consumption, in particular the intake of sugar, sodium and cholesterol. In fact, drinking seven glasses of water per day could cut total daily intakes by up to 200 calories.
Current guidelines recommend drinking 1 to 1.5 liters of water per day. There’s nothing new or revolutionary about that advice, especially for dieters or detoxers looking to flush out the body’s toxins.
However, new research, published in the Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, has found that a few extra glasses of water can increase the feeling of “fullness” and reduce daily calorie consumption.
The researchers studied the dietary habits of more than 18,300 people between 2005 and 2012.
Among other things, the scientists looked at the amount of plain water each person drank, as well as other liquids like unsweetened tea and coffee, which contribute to overall water consumption.
On average, the participants consumed 4.2 glasses of plain water per day, accounting for 30% of their daily dietary water intake. Their average calorie intake was 2,157, of which 125 calories came from sugar-sweetened drinks and 432 calories came from calorie-rich but nutrient-poor foods like desserts, pastries and snacks.
The study found that the majority of people who increased their intake of plain water by 1% — between one and three glasses per day — reduced their total daily calorie intake by 68 to 205 calories, as well as their consumption of saturated fat, sugar and salt. The study showed a reduction in sodium intake of 78 to 235g and a reduction in sugar intake of 5 to 18g.

Only recently, Ilyas changed her caption in her characteristic snide manner. She asked the commentators, “do you not like anything besides my cleavage? Did you hear about the Police skating force in Karachi? As the name indicates, the police force has some of its people trained to move, run and fight while wearing skates. This was in line with the fact that you will find a lot of traffic jams on the roads of Karachi or that sometimes the streets are very narrow. In such a situation, the skater force can take over. This was a creative initiative. Another initiative has been taken in Lahore, launching Ababeel Squad.
Ababeel Squad
On 27th February 2021, Lahore witness the launch of the Ababeel squad, which comprises 40 armed officers on 20 motorcycles. This squad has appeared after the Dolphin squad. The aim obviously is to make the city safer. The launching ceremony of Ababeel happened at the District Police Lines Qila Gujjar Singh.
CCPO Lahore cut the ribbon at the inauguration ceremony and rode the Ababeel motorcycle. Some other lead figures present at the ceremony were DIG Investigations Shariq Jamal, SSP CIA, DIG Operations Sajid Kiani, SP Mobile Squad, SP Security, SP Headquarters, all divisional SSPs, and of course the Ababeel Squad members, among other people.

Addressing the ceremony, CCPO said that the squad was extracted from the police force itself and not from outside. Existing police officers were given special training to patrol the Lahore streets in the city’s highlight places. SP Mujahid Squad will head the squad.
Other than the Ababeel Squad, Lahore also has Dolphin Squad, Police Response Unit, and Punjab Safe Cities Authority. It is said that the three forces together have not yielded much result, but the addition of Ababeel may make the expected difference.
And if, as CCPO has stated, the whole squad will reach the crime location in a group of 20 motorbikes, it actually seems possible. I mean, just imagine how protected the victims would feel when 20 bikes and 40 policemen approach. Moreover, they will keep patrolling the streets so they can reach the location they are required to on time.

This year has been no short of leaks in the technological world. With the flagships smartphone, tablets and other major gadgets being a few months away. We come across alleged leaks every once in a while, and this time it is Apple who is the center of attention.
Apple’s New Pencil’s Alleged Design Leaked
A few days ago, a user by the name of Mr. White shared an image on his Twitter where he claims that he has the design of the new third-generation Apple’s Pencil. While the new pencil has not been revealed but speculation leads that this might be the new design.
The alleged new design is shorter than the previous model of the Apple’s Pencil and is identical to the second generation of Apple Pencil which is capable of sticking and charging along the sides of the iPad.

Changes can also be seen in the tip of the pencil. While the older nibs or tips of the pencils were a bit smaller, the new leaks reveal that they have significantly increased in size and are larger than the older nibs or tips. Even though Apple is yet to reveal any of the details about the third generation of Apple Pencil, experts say it may have a longer life than older generations and are likely to be more durable before it is needed to be replaced.

Last year, there were reports of Apple filing a patent that would allow people to sample colors in real life via a sensor on their Apple Pencils but whether or not it will be incorporated into the new nib/tip is a feature that will have to wait for Apple’s announcement before we could make any judgments about its functionality.
If these rumors turn out to be true and this new sensor and feature are incorporated into the new device, it will allow artists, designers and animators to create real-life like imagery and animations.
What Is The Credibility Of All These Rumors?
“Mr. White” has previously leaked designs of iPad Mini 5, iPhone 12 Mini’s display, A14 Chip components and back-glass of the graphite iPhone 12 Pro. Though only time will tell if his new leak turns out to be true, we will be awaiting the next Apple Event to find out if these rumors and new designs of the third generation Apple Pencil turn out to be true.
[Update]: Minal Khan and Ahsan Mohsin Ikram had posted pictures on valentine’s day that hinted the two got engaged. Minal had a ring on her engagement finger and neither of them gave any clarification when the speculation of them getting engaged went all over the internet.
Now, once again Minal has hinted at something and it is very unclear. Her pose in the video is one that flaunts her engagement ring as she gets ready in what is clearly a salon. And the caption is even stranger, ‘Preparing for something big.”
Could she be saying that she is getting ready for an official engagement party?
Well, that’s what her fans were speculating at least.

[Feb 15th, 2021]: Minal Khan and Ahsan Ikram have been in a relationship for some time. Although they never confirmed it, their lovey-dovey replies on Insta posts and their pictures were evidence enough that the relationship was going strong. Taking the relationship one step further was Minal being a part of Ahsan’s dadi’s birthday celebration.

Now, it seems that Minal has announced her engagement with Ahsan. Yesterday was Valentine’s day, and both the celebrities took to their Instagram posting how they celebrated it.
We agree that Minal does wear many rings on her hands, but this picture just speaks that Ahsan proposed with the ring she is wearing on her engagement finger. Plus, it also looks different from her usual rings.

The Long-Awaited For Update in iOS 14
They optimized Battery Charging. Those three words are what all iPhone users have been waiting for. This new feature in iOS 14 will protect your battery life and make sure it does not deteriorate over the years. Although battery deterioration over time is inevitable, it can be delayed now, thanks to this feature. Sony had introduced this feature years ago because they understood year-to-year battery optimization is essential. We’re glad Apple is on board now!
When you update your phone to iOS 14, you will be able to see another notification that comes through the feature.
The fun part is that this feature is now available for AirPods as well.

This will change the charging process for good. Usually, your phone keeps on consuming electricity until it is at 100%. Later, you need to charge it again when the battery drains. However, now, your phone will charge till it is at 80% and finish 100% before you wake up.
This will be done by Apple’s ability to notice the times you start using your phone in the morning. It will trace the time back to the time of inactivity during the night and set itself to charge then.
