5 Pakistani Drama OSTs That Are Potential Award Recipients

5 pakistani drama osts

Don’t you love it when your favorite drama or soundtrack gets nominated in an award show? COVID-19 and social distancing have everything messed up, and we don’t know what will become of this tradition. However, considering we had some fantastic dramas this year, we should list at least 5 Pakistani Drama OSTs (Original Soundtracks) that would have made the mark.

1. Ishqiya (ARY Digital)

One of the top singers, Asim Azhar, sang ‘Ishq Kiya’ in his soulful voice with Kaiynat John. The song was the OST for ARY drama Ishqiya. Interestingly, alongside singing, Asim Azhar wrote and also composed it.

2. Malaal e Yaar (Hum TV)

Malaal e Yaar aired on Hum TV in the second half of 2019. Ahmed Jahanzaib and Nish Asher sang the OST for the drama. The story of the show was about a love story of a feudal lord with his wife, whom he forcefully marries to follow tradition. And its song entrances the audience and convinces them to watch the entire FIFTY-FOUR episode drama series.

3. Alif (Geo TV)

The blockbuster drama Alif that sparks a spiritual journey in the viewer had an even more amazing of an OST. Shuja Haider wrote and composed the song. Haider alongside Momina Mustehsan sang the OST for the drama aired on Geo TV.

4. Ehd e Wafa (Hum TV)

Having followed and loved Sunehrey Din and Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, the bias for Ehd e Wafa was strong. The show was about military training and sacrifice, reviving the memories of the old PTV Days of the two army dramas. But this one had his own strong identity as well. Moreover, the song lyrics too sparked the patriotism within us. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan sang the ISPR official song.

5. Ghisi Piti Mohabbat (ARY Digital)

Three singers join forces and sing the OST for a drama revolving around dark comedy. We know that the song adds the flavor to a show, so if a song does not match it, the scene loses its touch as well. The Soch Band so entirely composes this OST. The lyrics bring humor for the audience in the right sense instead of employing cheap comic tactics. And even the singers Saniya, Muqaddas, and Shehnaz, are seen to be enjoying the song. What can be better than that?

These dramas were or are ‘off amazing.’ And these 5 Pakistani Drama OSTs just stole our hearts. The fun, the pain, even the songs were full of story. Let us know if we are wrong, but first, listen to these songs. We assure you, you will change your mind. And if you have suggestions for the list, do share them with us.

Young PhD Student At Karachi University, Nadia Ashraf Commits Suicide

Karachi University Student Commits Suicide

The now late student, Nadia Ashraf, leaves a million questions and realizations in her wake.

What Led To A Promising Student’s Suicide?

Nadia Ashraf was a Ph.D. student. She was studying at Karachi University, in the Dr. Panjuani Center for Molecular Medicine and Research. Her supervisor, Dr. Iqbal Chaudhry, allegedly was harassing her, which ultimately led to her decision to take her own life.

Ashraf had been trying to complete her Ph.D. for the last 15 years. Her area of research was cancer, and she was a promising student, yet her supervisor was acting as a massive obstacle in her life and career.

To her close friends and family, she remarked several times that Dr. Chaudhry will not let her complete her Ph.D. or that she’s unaware of what he wants from her.

More details from a media outlet report that Dr. Chaudhry is an illegal director of the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences, Karachi University. Additionally, he had appointed another faculty member to bully Ashraf.

Sources report that when Ashraf applied for research elsewhere so that she may attain her Ph.D., Chaudhry also tried to get her terminated from there. After that, she asked again in the same department at Karachi University.

Harassment In Educational Institutes

Harassment in educational institutes is being exposed to be as common as anything. Faculty members, administration members, and male students all feel entitled to make a woman uncomfortable. They don’t feel remorse for making people’s lives hell and putting them in unimaginable distress.

Ashraf was an only child, living with her mother alone. Can we even imagine what was being done with her? How helpless must she have felt that death seemed like the only viable escape?

Are Educational Institutes Safe?

While a precious life was lost here as a result of harassment, many more are lost due to other reasons. In a year, there are countless suicides in and because of educational institutes. The pressure mounted on the students is unbelievable. But it’s not just that. Sure, the strength is a part of life; if not now, then in their careers, they will face pressurizing moments.

It’s the fact that instructors leave their compassion and empathy at home when they come to teach. They won’t consider being lenient because a student had a panic attack. They don’t think financial setbacks because of which some students may perform below average. As unfortunate as it may be, the issues that were highlighted in ‘3 idiots’ remain as prevalent as ever.

We are hoping the truth about Nadia Ashraf’s death comes to light, and she is given justice.

10 Ways Telehealth Service Can Benefit You

Telehealth

Have you ever heard of Telehealth? It’s the futuristic way in which we’ll be receiving healthcare, so if you haven’t already, get acquainted now!

What Is Telehealth?

Telehealth is defined in the medical industry as the delivery and facilitation of health and health-related services. These include medical care, provider and patient education, health information services, and self-care via telecommunications and digital communication technologies.

Live video conferencing, mobile health apps, “store and forward” electronic transmission, and remote patient monitoring (RPM) are examples of technologies used in Telehealth.

Telehealth

So the future is prioritizing how your healthcare can become virtual. In the new normal, there are so many individuals facing a plethora of issues for which they would like to visit a doctor. However, due to the risk of contracting the virus, they’re putting their needs on hold. While Telehealth is not being developed due to this reason, it can be a solution to times like these.

These are the ten main advantages of a telehealth system that you can’t ignore!

1. Patients can expect better outcomes.

They will have faster access to specialists who can evaluate them immediately before their health condition gets worse.

2. Unnecessary expenditure of going back and forth to hospitals can be reduced.

Remote consultations and monitoring will allow patients to manage health conditions more effectively at home.

Telehealth

3. Remote specialists can decide where a patient has to stay.

They can see whether a patient needs to be moved to another facility or not. The former can allow patients to stay close to their support network.

4. Information can be accessed efficiently and quickly from both ends.

If a patient is at home, then doctors can access their records easily, or if a patient is at a facility, the transfer of files can be hassle-free!

5. The information gaps will be filled.

Telehealth will ensure that people get to know about the best treatment available near them. On the other hand, getting in touch with a renowned specialist on the other end of the world can be made more accessible.

6. Facilities can offer more advanced solutions.

This will help in making the community view them in a better light. This would not be possible without the components of Telehealth because of the ease it offers on both ends.

Telehealth

7. Physicians can extend their reach.

They can reach patients who need their expertise but who would otherwise have missed out on this care without Telehealth.

8. Physicians can, in some instances, earn pay for being on-call for teleconsults.

This can be an advantage to those doctors who find it challenging to work at hospitals but also do not have the capital to start their clinic.

9. Physicians can also save more time.

By not having to travel between facilities to see patients. Haven’t you heard countless stories about how a patient had to suffer pain for hours on end because the doctor was stuck somewhere?

10. Tertiary facilities can earn more.

Tertiary care facilities can quickly identify remote patients who are sure to benefit from being transferred to their facilities. This allows them to earn more revenue.

All in all, Telehealth is bound to make lives easier!

5 Pakistani Brands That Are Gone But Not Forgotten

5 pakistani brands

Brands come and go, and we forget them most of the time. ‘Out of sight, out of mind’ has some truth to it. But some brands leave their mark on you. You might not remember them with every breath, but once in a while, they make you stop what you are doing and reminisce. They could be a reminder of your childhood, an emotion, a memory, or relation, but even after decades, they have a ‘hold’ over you. You might remember their commercials, their billboard ad, or the product itself, and it would send you down the memory lane. We have assembled 5 Pakistani Brands that are now no more in circulation, but they are still very much alive for us.

Polka

Now when you think of ice cream, you think of Walls by default. But that was not always the case, you know. Polka was the number 1 ice cream in Pakistan. In the 90s, when Unilever introduced Walls, there was a struggle for the title. And in the end, Walls one the fight. But it is still missed by many who remember the ‘Polka time.’

BP Spacer

You never had confusion between chocolate and milk toffee? That’s just sad. BP spacer was one of those snacks that would enrich the sense of taste, at least that’s how we remember it. I consider it gone because, honestly, I have not seen it in decades. Suddenly, it was gone, or suddenly we grew up, the mystery remains unsolved.

Mask Beans (Bounties)

Snacks that moms disapproved of because they would hurt your teeth, but you still eat them. Mask Beans was one of them but one step ahead. These bunties would come in an eye mask pack. And they would just add flavor to all the fun childhood games.

Aero Asia

AeroAsia was one of the largest private airlines based in Karachi, Pakistan. For someone like me, whose first flying experience was with Aero Asia, the airline meant a lot. It started operations from 1993 and until ’07. Tabani Group of Investors founded the airline. Aero Asia was regarded as a Low-cost carrier and extensive usage of the jet aircraft and jumbo jets. 2006 marked Aero Asia getting acquired by the British Regal Group, but they failed to provide safety guidelines to its customers. And ultimately, the airline shuttered.

Air Indus

Air Indus was a Pakistani domestic airline based in Karachi. They started operations on 28 July 2013 but had to suspend services in 2015 after the CAA declared they were not fulfilling the Pakistani legal requirements of having three operating aircraft. This was after the terrorist attack at Karachi Jinnah Airport in 2014 that left 2 of the aircraft damaged.

These brands range from snacks to deserts to airlines. But there is one thing constant—our beloved memories of them. We do not know if they would ever make a comeback, and if they did, they would even be able to survive. But one thing is for sure; they will not lose their place in our hearts.

As these pictures went viral, social media trolls couldn’t hold back their negative criticism on the celebrity’s choice of clothing. The trolls bombarded her posts with hate comments and how she should not wear such ‘vulgar’ clothing. Moreover, people also started preaching religion on her posts.

Have a look at some of the comments below.

Some even called her ‘dusri Priyanka Chopra’

People started preaching religion

People disliked what she wore

Some even said how she looks better in tight clothes and how disappointed they were to see her in such a dress.

Social media presence

Moreover, being active on social media is not always a pleasant experience. It takes a lot of courage to showcase your life on social media. The keyboard warriors, however, do not understand the seriousness of how badly it affects a person.

Shades of Quarantine! 💭 I have been wondering that I have such mixed feelings about the pandemic! While I am thinking that it’s a global disaster on a human level, I also notice the planet is healing which I feel was so much needed as we had become so careless about harming it and how! While I am missing my mother and my family so so much, I am also grateful that I can be warm & safe at home, I have loved ones that I can talk to and I have food on my table. My heart goes out to all the people struggling right now, be it having to worry about food & health facilities or be it leaving your home to go out and fight on the frontline as a doctor, policeman, etc Stay strong & positive ya’ll & most importantly be grateful & kind & STAY HOME ❤️ #covid19 p.s. Islamabad Airport: Social Media Reacts To Viral Video Of Ceiling Collapsing

The recent monsoon spell in Pakistan has caused massive damages to the country. Not only did it result in financial loss, but it also claimed the lives of many residents.

One of the most recent damages the rain has caused the departure lounge’s ceiling at Islamabad Airport to collapse.

A viral video was obtained by Geo News in which it is obvious to see parts of the ceiling falling to the ground. We can also see rainwater falling from where the debris fell.

So far, there have been no reports of any injuries. However, an inquiry has been ongoing in regards to the alleged faulty construction of the new airport for two years now.

Reportedly, the damages caused by rainwater have been a frequent dilemma for the airport. Moreover, Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) said its director-general had taken cognizance of the damage caused by the rain at IIAP.

PCAA tweeted:

DG CAA has issued directions for a comprehensive report along with a permanent solution within three days.

According to the Airport Manager and his maintenance staff, heavy leakage occurred due to torrential rain resulted in overflowing of drains at the rooftop of the passenger terminal building.

The authority further added that:

multiple solutions are under consideration, including adding more water pipes for quick flushing of rain water into multiple drains or changing the entire drainage design over the roof top.

New Islamabad Airport Lounge Video

Here’s the viral video that has been making rounds on social media:

https://youtu.be/nN_UXjz5osw

Social Media Reacts To The Viral Video

Here’s how social media has reacted to the viral video:

As mentioned, this is not the first time the New Islamabad Airport has found itself in a tight fix. In May 2020, the airport was left in a bad state due to a spell of heavy rainfall.

The heavy rainfall led to structural damage. The building was equipped for over Rs. One hundred billion, which is instead an excruciating amount for an underdeveloped country. Many have the opinion that the investment was made by the government rapidly to gain political mileage.

The storm had shattered windowpanes in the domestic departure lounge and also affected various spots in the sealing.

The glass was also shattered all over the lounge.

Islamabad Airport Wrecked Once Again After Heavy Rainfall [View Images]

Before this incident, the airport became a victim of littering and vandalism on its very first day of operations.

Reportedly, one of the converter belts was not properly functioning, which led civilians to lose their cool. Many of the men were seen making their way inside the straps to grab their luggage after waiting several hours.

Not just that, the bathrooms were left in a devastating state, cigarette buds were thrown in plant pots, and litter was thrown all around the airport despite having necessary trash facilities.

PC: ProPakistani

Twitter User Ali Arif shared a video about how the airport was being flooded with rainwater, and nothing can be done.

We can see powerful winds blow and rain covering the floors, filling each level with the water. There seems to be no sewage system. Nonetheless, the ceiling was not prepared for such an event.

Truly it feels awful to know that a project built with high hopes, many resources, and a lot of time has ended up in such a condition.

If this is the current state of the airport, we cannot even anticipate what the condition might be like another month down the road.

A Mystery: More Than 500 Animals Go Missing From Islamabad Zoo

Islamabad Zoo

Islamabad’s Marghazar Zoo has eaten up more than 500 animals, and no one has a clue what happened to those miserable lives.

How Did The Authorities Find Out?

Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation (IMC) was in charge of the said zoo in 2019. In July 2019, a report issued by them counted a total of 917 animals and birds of different species.

Fast forward a year, as per the instructions of the Islamabad High Court’s (IHC), the management of the zoo had been handed over to the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB). This decision also came with the instructions that the animals be moved out of the zoo and into several shelters.

Islamabad Zoo

However, when the handover documents – dated July 16, 2020 – and signed by the Zoo Deputy Director, Dr. Bilal Khilji, Ministry of Climate Change Biodiversity Director Naeem Ashraf Raja, and the takeover authority, IWMB Chairman Dr. Anisur Rehman, was observed, it showed a significant anomaly. It showed that only 404 animals had been handed over. Compared to the 917 a year ago, all of the animals in the zoo amounted to 400 now.

Where did the rest go?

A Detailed Comparison

A detailed analysis of the reports showed that the tallies of various animal species fluctuated. Many had increased while others had decreased, but all of these were not a cause of concern since the change was quite small. For instance, the Barking Deer and the Hog Deer increasing from three to five and 7 to 10 respectively, while those for some other species are failing.

Islamabad Zoo

Among those whose populations fell was the Spotted Deer, whose count went from 12 to 11 in a year. Similarly, the number of the Chinkara Gazelle fell from seven to three. The Black Buck Gazelle fell from four to three, of Urial from 11 to just four, Nilgai (Blue Bull) from 18 to 16. Zebras from five to four, Mallard Ducks from 108 to 74, and Rose Ringed Parakeet from 136 to 30.

Now, these are vast differences that are significant causes of concern. How does a species of a bird get reduced to less than 1/4th of its original population count? But, we have a bigger shock in store for you.

The count for common doves, who were alone 255 last year, was omitted entirely from the handover document. In other words, 255 common doves were in the zoo last year, and yet, in a year, none existed any longer.

The Mysterious Yet Grieving Case

Islamabad Zoo

This might be a mystery, but it is indeed a sad and unfortunate one. We can all guess what must have happened to the animals. Either they were stolen by people and kept in conditions not suitable to them. Or they died perhaps due to the negligence of the staff. Maybe they were sold by the team for a pretty buck. We hope the authorities take due action against Islamabad Zoo and punish all those who are accountable for it.

The lead actor in the show and the man playing the traditional role is coming to our home country. Mark the date people, it’s 18th August!

Ertugrul Comes To Pakistan

Engin Altan released a short video in which he delivers this message. He said in the video that he’d be meeting the children on the 18th of this month. Moreover, the best thing is that he’ll be coming to meet “Make A Wish” children!

A heartthrob that is compassionate? Sign everybody up!

Check Out The Video!

Make A Wish Children

Make a wish children are those little ones who have been diagnosed with cancer. While they are undergoing treatment, they are asked to make a wish which the hospital tries to fulfill to the best of its ability. Internationally, you must have seen several celebrities with little cancer patients. That’s mostly because meeting those celebs must be their wish!

Engin is reported to be meeting three ‘make a wish’ children. The Pakistan MAW account tweeted that MAW Turkey was of great help! The two countries are developing more significant ties together, and this is just another step that’s helping us achieve a stronger friendship.

How Is Pakistan Going To Respond?

The first thing that comes to mind is ‘roads blocked.’ If Altan has already announced he will be coming, then possibly nothing can save him from the love that Pakistanis want to shower on him. We’re thinking hundreds of boys out on bikes with Ertugrul banners, chanting their nomenclature.

More people will be lined outside the hospital. The visitation of Altan will be magical in the sense that it will hypnotize people into thinking coronavirus has disappeared. There is no place for masks and gloves in huge groups and boy, will this be a huge one.

Twitter Reacts

People on Twitter are obviously beyond excited and sharing their happiness. Many are joking about their satisfaction being so vast that they think he’s coming to meet them individually. Then others are using this precious opportunity also to roast Yasir Hussain.

See For Yourself!

However, according to sources, it is said that Engin Altan will be meeting the children on a live session.

The new logo symbolizes all values that reflect a new vision of Imtiaz including; Star – embracing change and excellence, Happy Customer – valuing customer and stakeholders, Tick – righteous business ethics, and an Arch – symbolizing strength and support.

With this evolved look Imtiaz is also highlighting the unknown fact that it is comprised of three store formats; Imtiaz Mega – where you get a wide assortment of categories, a Imtiaz Super Market – to help you get everyday items with ease, and Imtiaz Xpress – a 24/7 convenient store facility. These formats offer convenience with an unlimited range of services. All in all, this is a new look and a groundbreaking identity that underlines greatness. The new logo is already making waves on all digital channels, gaining popularity for its evolution.

Another good news is that Imtiaz amongst its upcoming projects is also soon to launch multiple branches in the Punjab region. One of its MEGA launch anticipated by customers is in Islamabad on the 21st of August.

This Mega Store is expected to have all sorts of products, from household to fashion all under one roof, including facilities of the biggest parking space, wheelchairs accessibility, and much more. Islamabad’s mega launch is followed by two nearing launches in Lahore, a part of its series of branch launch plans in the pipeline.

Imtiaz has set an example by embracing change in the area of acquiring advanced tools, values, and technology to offer better services to customers via competent strategic plans.

We hope the best to come from these major moves Imtiaz has made to evolve itself to be the best of the best in the retail industry. For more information, we have all our latest updates on our social media forums where Your Opinion Matters!

4 Ways Pakistanis Celebrated Independence Day Amid The Pandemic

Independence Day Celebrations

Streets of Pakistan were decked with green and white as we celebrated the 74th Independence Day. How did Pakistanis commemorate the day of Azaadi amidst the pandemic?

The Jashn-e-Azadi Celebrations

Every year the day is looked forward to by all Pakistanis. Usual scenario entails youngsters on bikes and trucks with huge, blaring speakers, all decked in green. They have their mini jhandas in hands; children will be dressed in green and white and pressed against windows. Roads are blocked, but they are beautiful.

However, this year the celebrations were different yet not too much!

Independence Day During Coronavirus

Many people had to adapt to the situation and improvise. Here are some of the categories you must have noted:

1. The Stay At Home Celebration

Many chose to stay at home and make do with the white and green outfits they already had in their kitchens. They cooked up their favourite dishes at home, watched movies, and called it a day.

2. The Mini Party Throwers

Then some had a more passionate patriotic streak in them. They decorated their houses with white and green and called some friends and family over. Of course, in a socially distanced manner while following all SOPs!

3. The Instagram Patriot

There’s always an Instagram fanatic in the lot whose life begins and ends with the app. These were the ones who wrote long paragraphs on stories, posted a lot of pictures on the ‘gram. People in this category lead the campaign of patriotism on the micro-blogging site. Jinnah is their ultimate idol for the day.

4. The Rowdy Lot

Of course, there are those too for whom the love for the country trumps their fear of a pandemic. They decorated their cars and trucks, and they took to the streets. This lot mainly consists of young boys whom you would not want to face. They are possessed by a manic spirit and are unstoppable.

No one had any mask one while they danced on the streets. The roads were blocked to the extent that people were stuck in traffic for hours. The cluster of cars on the street also seemed aesthetically pleasing to many who whipped out their drones for a picture.

So which one of these was you? Let us know in the comments below.

Asim Azhar Helps A Fan By Paying For His Grandmother’s Treatment

Asim Azhar

Rarely do we come across celebrities who genuinely follow upon the “I’d do anything for my fans.” But Asim Azhar has proven to be one of them, and we’re beyond proud to have a star like him in our country.

Asim Azhar Reaches Out

Osama – @cameramayn – on twitter, tweeted in distress about his grandmother’s cancer treatment that was incredibly expensive to pay. He has since taken down the tweet because he supposedly wants to tell updates now.

But then Asim Azhar tweeted in a consoling manner to the fan. Check out the tweet here:

Since then, Osama tweeted again that he has received the donation from Azhar, and he is beyond grateful.

An Act In Self-lessness

Azhar then proceeded to tweet that he did not do this act to show anything off. After Osama tweeted the good news, people began to praise the star and congratulate Osama.

However, taking all that praise, Azhar tweeted that this only had to happen on Twitter as there was no other platform. However, he’s just doing anything he can in his power to give back to his beloved fans.

This is what the star tweeted:

 Twitter Reacts

People on twitter are beyond proud to be idolizing a star-like Azhar. Someone who doesn’t step back in the hour of need. Before this, there have seldom been cases like this, but we’re glad to know a trend is starting!

A Relationship Like No Other

The relationship between fans and their idols is unlike any other. Celebrities and icons are people their fans worship and devote their time. Many celebrities don’t respond with just as much love and respect too. However, then there are celebrities like Azhar who use their acquired money and fame for proper use.

Helping a fan out in his hour of need shouldn’t be anything special. It must be normalized!

Azhar recently came under a lot of backlashes when fans found out one of his songs was plagiarised. The star proceeded to clarify that and said the rights of the song had been attained legally. Following that, the entire “friendzone” story with Hania Amir blew up, and he became the butt of many jokes.

Yet, in all that, he remained calm and decent and did not resort to any name-calling. But, what we do love is the “twitter phupos” name he has given some people!

Most of the recipients have given their life’s hard work to their work in their respective fields; if such excellency is not appreciated and lauded the right way, it would be unfair.

APS Attack Survivor Ahmad Nawaz All Set To Study At Oxford University

Ahmed Nawaz, one of the students who experienced what was possibly the most traumatic incident ever, is on his way to the stars.

The APS Attack

On 16 December 2014, the worst terrorist attack in the history of Pakistan took place. Six gunmen affiliated with the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan conducted a violent attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar. To this day, the correct number of lives lost is not given. The estimate lies at 148, with 90% of these being young children. One hundred fourteen people were injured in a non-fatal way.

One of 114

Ahmed Nawaz, one of 114 people who were non-fatally injured, just shared a piece of great news. The young man has just received his admission from Oxford University, and we couldn’t be more elated!

As a young teen, he took his experience, and he turned it into a rage with which he wanted to succeed more. Two years ago, this was Ahmed’s tweet:

Presuming that was his O levels, although he hasn’t shared his A levels result, he’s on his way to greater things. More luck and light towards children like him!

A Lesson In Determination

There were many survivors of the APS attack who underwent extreme mental distress following the event. The post-traumatic disorder, the loss of friends, the flashbacks all must not be undermined. Some survivors found it difficult and impossible to come out of that shell of fear and shock. This is why enforcing such examples on them, in particular, is not right.

To say that to recover from a traumatic experience as Ahmed did is the only right way is wrong. Not all backgrounds were created equal. However, to applaud Ahmed for how he fought with his monsters is needed.

Much like Malala, Ahmed was subjected to the violence of terrorists in their efforts to obstruct the education of children. But the way he responded to it was much more significant, he was determined, he persevered, and he achieved!

A Brain Drain That Can’t Be Ignored

Many have reservations about the boy going to Oxford. “Why does he not go to LUMS” or Agha Khan? Or any other university in his home country. Those questions aren’t invalid, so if you hear someone ask them, answer it this way: it’s because our universities can not compete with Oxford.

For natural reasons too since Oxford has been in place for over centuries. However, this is something to consider. Any student that is beyond excellent never has a home country Univerisity or job as his/her goal, which is food for thought.

5 Ways Hot Weather Can Damage Your Car!

PC: ThatViralFeed

Summers are here, and we are drinking gallons of water night and day! As the mercury is rising, and the scorching sun is shining upon us, it’s essential we take the needed precautions to stay safe in the heat.

However, just like how us humans need to refuel and cool down, our cars also need care. Unlike us, they are out under the sun and are exposed to its excruciating rays. If you can keep your ride in a more relaxed place, somewhere under the shade, then that is great.

If you do not have that option, you will have to find a way to work around it like buying car covers, making your car shed where your ride is parked.

Nonetheless, here are five ways how the sun and the excessive heat can damage your car:

1. Battery

Car Battery
PC: RB Battery

Drivers need to know that a car’s battery is made with acid as well as water. Because of the harsh weather, the water is evaporated faster than usual, leaving the battery with just the acid. Over time, without any water, the acid destroys the plates, causing damage.

When the weather cools down, the battery will become incapable of holding a charge, stopping it from allowing your car to turn on.

2. Tires

hot tire
PC: Cannon & Dunphy SC

Hot weather can leave a print on your tires as well. When a car is driven around, the tires are creating friction ver scorching surfaces, putting extra pressure on them.

The hot weather can deteriorate the condition of the tire as the rubber expands in the summer, eventually causing it to lose its shape. Moreover, this causes the tires to wear-out or become profoundly damage faster as compared to spring and winter.

3. Fluids

car fluids
PC: Popular Mechanics

As mentioned above, we humans need water to keep hydrated. Because cars are non-living, they are unable to communicate to us when they need more fluid in their engine. Just like how the water from the battery evaporates, the other liquids, including the coolant, also come to an end.

If you do not keep the fluids maintained, the engine will not perform up to the mark, and can eventually break down completely, giving you a costly bill. Hence, it is an essential oil, and coolant levels are continuously checked.

4. Air Conditioning System

Whether you are an experienced driver or a new one, in both cases, it is very crucial to understand the importance of your car’s cooling system. A car engine produces a lot of heat when it is running and must be cooled continuously to avoid engine damage. Plus, with the hot weather already raising the temperatures sky-high, you must be careful not to over-work it and cause a breakdown.

3 Ways To Look After Your Car’s Cooling System

5. Paint Job

car paint
PC: AutoDeals.pk

The heat takes a massive toll on your car’s paint job as well as the intense heat hits hard. The long exposure eventually leads to cracks, damages pieces of vinyl, and even damages the interior leather seating and electronic items within the car.

Keep your car safe and sound this summer!
