Foldable-Dual Screen Flip-Smartphone has Launched!
Remember how Samsung and LG were trying to make a foldable phone and how Apple joined the race, which is rumoured to be working with LG on a foldable OLED Smartphone?
Well, looks like a US-based manufacturer beat them to it by finally making a fold-able dual screen Smartphone that actually works and will be on sale!
The company behind the phone is Axon M.
ZTE Axon M has been launched exclusively on AT&T in the US and will be available starting next month. The Chinese company has confirmed that the Axon M will also be making its way to other markets including China, Europe, and Japan.
The company is also in the works of introducing the new Axon M as a multimedia device as it claims it fits in a pocket quite easily when folded. The smartphone comes in 4 different modes.
Including;
- Dual mode, which will allow users to use two different apps on separate screens;
- The extended mode can stream email or allows users play games on a full 6.75-inch full-HD display;
- Mirror mode, which allows users to mirror the same content on both the screen when folded with both screens in different directions.
- Traditional mode, which allows users to use the device as a conventional smartphone. ZTE Axon M will be available at $24.17 for 30 months on AT&T Next when they have eligible service.

- It is powered by Snapdragon 821 SoC, which may seem slightly outdated.

Bitcoin Declared Illegal in Pakistan as Value Surges Even Higher!
The popular cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, has once again become the talk of the town! Earlier, Bitcoin touched a new value shooting to $4,000 directly from its old value which was just $570!
Now, the new value of a single Bitcoin has touched over $6,000! Pushing its market capitalization to $100 billion at one point, as investors continued to bet on an asset that has a limited supply and has paved the way for a whole slew of crypto-currencies.
However, the virtual currency is illegal in Pakistan and those who will be found with ownership of it will have to face serious consequences by the court. The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) does not recognise cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin.
Earlier, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) launched action against OneCoin and Bitcoin. According to the report of a regional channel, FIA, after receiving a statement from State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), is going after OneCoin and Bitcoin.
Initially, FIA will take action in Lahore and later it will be countrywide. Exact reasons for this action against OneCoin and Bitcoin have not been made clear.
Interestingly, PITB is supporting an event “Earn with Bitcoin” at Arfa Kareem Technology Park, Lahore. At the event, attendees are being taught about Blockchain and earning through bitcoin mining. Apparently, there is a lot of disparity within various government organizations about supporting cryptocurrency.
According to the tax official, the trade of bitcoin is on the rise in Pakistan. The initial inquiry revealed that bitcoin is being traded mostly against cash in the country. Therefore, an in-depth probe is being carried out to gauge the actual quantum of bitcoin trading and scrutinise whether its income is being properly reported under the tax laws.

Car Sales Witness Massive Increase in Q1 of 2017-18
Sale of cars in the country rose to 50,640 units during the first quarter of the fiscal year 2017-18 compared to the sale of 41,405 units during the same period of last year showing an increase of 22.3 percent.
On year on year basis, the sale of passenger cars witnessed an increase of 11 percent as it rose to 15,639 units in September 2017 from 14,088 units in September 2016.
The latest data issued by Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) revealed:
Toyota Corolla
The break-up figures show that a number of Toyota Corolla cars sold during the first quarter (July-September) 2017-18, remained 12,765 units compared to 12,655 units during the first quarter of preceding fiscal year.
Honda
Similarly, Honda Cars witnessed an increase of 30 percent during the period under review as it increased from 8,059 units last year to 10,534 units in the current year.
Suzuki
Sale of Suzuki Swift, however, witnessed a negligible decline during the corresponding period as during first quarter of 2016-17, 1,046 units were sold out while during the same period the f current fiscal year, the sale was recorded at 1,044 units.
Sale of Suzuki Cultus also witnessed an increase of 56 percent to 5,181 units in July-September (2017-18) from 3,322 units in same period of previous year.
Besides, Suzuki WagonR also witnessed a sharp increase as it rose to 5,789 units from 3,385 units in first three months of the year 2016-17

Ayesha Bawany College To Remain Under Sindh Government Till 2019
The Supreme court has finally decided to end the tussle that had been going on for a while regarding the handing over of Aisha Bawany College between the Aisha Bawani Trust and the Sindh Government.
The decision has been granted in favor of the provincial government. The custody of Aisha Bawany is in hands of the government until the year 2019.
The institute will be handed over to the trust after 2019. The Supreme court has ruled out that the trust can be registered under another name after two years meaning the name of the trust can be removed from the college’s official name.
Justice Azmat Saeed Sheikh who was part of the bench that took the decision on the college has warned both the parties involved in the situation to follow the court’s orders otherwise there would be dire consequences if they failed to abide.
Justice Sheikh further added,
“Both sides would face severe consequences if they fail to abide by the court’s orders”
Aisha Bawany was earlier closed in September after the trustees approached the court to seal the premises, however, the government claimed that the trustees who are owners of the school want to use the venue for commercial purposes. The court then approved a stay order on the educational activity.
The school was scheduled to open on 18th September as per the court orders but remained closed. This led to a protest by students and teachers outside the institution’s premises.

Expo 2020 Dubai: 30,000 Volunteers Needed!
The most awaited Dubai Expo 2020 is gearing up and preparations for the grand event are well underway. A hunt for more than 30,000 volunteers has been launched who would be the ‘face’ of the largest global gathering in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia.
The volunteers will be coming from various nationalities and backgrounds and will be playing an important role in the Expo. The task will include welcoming about 25 million visitors over the six-month-long event. 70% of visitors are to come from outside the UAE which is the largest proportion ever in the history of the expo.
Volunteer Roles
Volunteers can participate in the events leading up to the Expo 2020 and also attend the brainstorming sessions which could have their ideas be included in the plans. This time’s Expo’s main theme is, ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’
There are more than 45 roles available for volunteers which include welcoming guests to managing events with about 16 million hours of work spread across 173 days. People who decide to volunteer will gain hands-on experience and exposure to such a ground-breaking event.
Reem Ebrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director-General of Expo 2020 Dubai Bureau commented on the event and the search for volunteers,
“Expo 2020 is a global event for everyone to learn, innovate, create, and have fun by sharing ideas and working together and we are proud to include opportunities for more than 30,000 volunteers from any age, nationality or background, reflecting the diversity of our Expo and our nation”
Najeeb Mohammad Al Ali, Executive Director, Expo 2020 Dubai Bureau also added,

Baaghi Drama on Urdu1: Kanwal’s Breakdown Will Tug at the Heartstrings!
It is truly impossible not to get caught up and cry while watching Urdu1’s blockbuster drama ‘Baaghi’. With every passing episode, the tale is striking a chord even deeper with its stirring scenes and Saba Qamar’s fierce acting.
Surely, Baaghi is entertaining, dramatic and engaging. Inspired by Qandeel Baloch’s life, the drama makes us realize how hard it was for the social media sensation to survive in a world where her existence was shunned. She lived amongst people who tried to sabotage her, failed to understand her and branded her as a lunatic.
The last episode clearly showed how Kanwal felt dejected, alone and unwanted, seemingly fighting the depression of past events in her life.
She just can not get over the fact that her husband left her for another woman and even gave away her child to somebody else.
However, Kanwal did not shy away from being vocal about the injustices being done with women.
Her motto for life appears to be:

T10 Cricket League Gets Pakistan Cricket Board’s Full Support!
The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Najam Sethi, has greenlit and has offered the PCB’s full support for the upcoming ICC approved and Emirates Cricket board sanctioned T10 Cricket League.
The Pakistan cricket boards involvement means that the T10 Cricket League will now feature Pakistan’s top players such as Shahid Afridi, Sarfraz Ahmed, Shoaib Malik, Mohammed Amir, Babar Azam, Ahmed Shehzad, Ruman Raees, Shoaib Malik, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammed Hafeez, Imad Wasim, Yasir Ali, Junaid Khan and the entire centrally contracted Pakistan Squad will be up for grabs in the upcoming T10 Cricket League Draft.
Speaking from his offices, Shaji Ul Mulk, Chairman of Mulk Holdings and T10 Cricket league said;
’’I am delighted to announce that the Pakistan Cricket Board has offered its full support and confirmed the release of the current centrally contracted players. On behalf of T10 management and Team owners and Emirates Cricket Board, I would like to offer special gratitude to PCB chairman Mr. Najam Sethi for his support to T10 Cricket League. We look forward to welcoming all fans to the first ever T10 Cricket League ’’
PCB’s involvement comes in light of other cricket boards sanctioning and approving the much talked about T10 Cricket league such as the Sri-lankan Cricket Board, Bangladesh Cricket Board, Emirates Cricket Board and Zimbabwe Cricket Board.
The attraction of Shahid Afridi and the strong lineup of centrally contracted players from Pakistan will add a whole new bang to the already much talked about 10 over format.
With a potential audience of over 1.4 Billion South Asian people, 90 minutes of action, 10 overs a side, star players, celebrities, performance shows, South Asian rivalries, performances after every over, drama and nail biting finishes it is bound to be crickets newest and hottest attraction

They will be an integral part of our leagues’ success. Also adding to the mix of T10 league list of current international players including Eoin Morgan captain of the England team, Shakib Al Hasan, Virender Sehwag and Sangakkara. The ‘cricketentainment’ will begin from the first ball!
Over 100 performers per match to entertain crowds, crowd interaction, player interaction, rivalries, over 20 celebrities in attendance every match, International players and cricketing action from the first ball!
Team captains and coaches will have to adjust to the new format by deploying new strategies and adapting to the league.
Speaking to the press Shahid Afridi said teams are solely based in and around the South Asian subcontinent and icons of business, movie industry and sport both in and around the region including Bollywood actors have bought teams which include – Punjabi Legends (Inzamam Ul Haq and Intizar Ul Haq) , Pakhtoons (Habib Khan) , Maratha Arabians (Parvez Khan, Bollywood star: Sohail Khan and Ali Tumbi) , Bengal Tigers (Anis Sajan, Rizwan Sajan, Sirajuddin Alam and Neelesh Bhagatanar) , Colombo Lions (Vijay Vyas, Kashif Shahzad and Mohomed Morani ) and Kerala Kings (Hussain Adam Ali and Dr.Shafi Ul Mulk).
